In my cursory search I found him ragging on the UI, and how the game ultimately suffers and ruined by it, and he referred to bay12'er as sycophants.
That's because most of you are. Not that that justifies his theft.

Oh damn, someone is messing around n the village, moving items around and dropping container's stuff on the floor. Check infront of the village idol, all the carpets and stuff are messed up. And either he has awesome stealth, or is a member of the village, because I havent seen ANY clue, no matter how many times I reload/pass through.

remember my words

Well, it applies.

Here you have a game going for the full survival experience - gritty outdoors stuff and civilization alike. Theft, murder, and war are all natural parts of that. And then you have people like kobnach complaining about every aspect of PvP...

Just watched Hellboy 2 yesterday and i loved the look of those sick swordselves in it so thats the direction I'm thinking of going with them... although they have to still be wood clad... and hence appear crap smeared.... stupid elves refusing to look cool!
Did you try other types of bark? Like white bark, birch.

(e.g, "why does this dorf have a little house in his name? How the heck do you even pronounce that? And why are there little crowns all over the place in the Embark maps?")

this already has a fix, although I'm sure that won't stop people from bringing it up

Has anyone done Unpossible? I lasted a lot of time on that to no effect.

A catapult plus rope and anchor for the delivery might work...
