Elona plus has 3 acts, and a lot of unique power gaming possibilities.

Omake has just the first act, but deeply extends and enhances vanilla power gaming mechanics.

Both are excellent and feel very different. As odd as it sounds I personally think plus feels more like vanilla, but thays just my opinion. There is a discord for both on the elkna wiki.

Y'can upgrade the CPUs on those servers to make software research quicker, by the way, and if you can afford the 15 servers, I reckon you can probably afford increase your research speed by a magnitude of, I dunno, a few thousand or so.

Huh. Well, that's good to know. That'll improve things by a few orders of magnitude.

Edit: Well, now that install times went from years to minutes, anyone have recommended ai scripts?
Theres a whole bunch of scripts in the discord, but also a ton on the wiki.

Also I really really wish they added some QoL automation and filtering features, hunting trough the factory tab to discard what you don't need and find what you want is a chore, and dealing with power stones in the museum even worse, and don't even get me started with some of the lab experiments (fucking coils and having to upgrade each and every single one of them individually).

Jopax gets it.
There is a keybinding that is empty by default to delete things in the factory, powerstones are a chore but if you set up an autoclicker script that lets you place autoclicks it gets a lot easier. Same with the coil experiment, an autoclicker and using the arrow keys makes it much easier.

Somewhat further down the line you get an upgrade so that you only need 1+4 instead of 1+8 powder to craft higher tier powder, so don't go crazy on upgrading it until you get that. Just only make what you need until then.

Yeah, but how do I do any of the upgrading? I can't build the next tier of belt for like 2.5 more days, because I need to wait on more refining.
A tier 9 belt is plenty for now. Do some more t9 refines, and build a t5 white producer, which has an absolutely absurd production rate of town cubes. That'll cover all costs for along time.

Era foes initially take /e20 less damage, and have that much extra attack power. Focus on forest easy, use stuns turn off software, and go as slow as possible to get enough kills and hits for research

If you link the Amazon prime account to your twitch account, you also get a bunch of stuff monthly for the Amazon game service, and some freebie stuff for some free to play games.

Looking through his list, most of what he's asking for is already done. Just need to put in a bunch of time googling and using crafttweaker to change recipes added by various mods. Really the only things I've never even seen are infinite inventory space (there's a bunch of mods with nesting backpacks. Pre update iron backpacks was incredible), the armor thing, and the xp thing though I'm fairly sure there are skill systems for minecraft. Still, probably a few weeks worth of effort just going through the data files for all those mods and tweaking them just right.

It looks like the Yogscast Jingle Jam is up, over at Tiltify now rather then Humble Bundle. As usual, a very large package including some very good games for a reasonable donation.

The final boss is somewhat dependent on what you do during the run. If you rush straight down to it, no deviations from the straight down path, its very weak. The boss to the right is deliberately absurd from what I understand. In terms of final boss health, you need to go well out of your way to max out the bosss health and if you've gone that far out of your way you should have access to the resources to still kill it.

The biggest perk to slime blood is that you are immune to the negative effects of slime stains. The biggest one being the massive slowdown effect.

Psychometry is front loading a tinkers chances against long term planning. Theres three data disc suppliers in the early game with a standard start, but those cost significantly for even basic gear. Sure, you can build from disc, dismantle, and go for the reverse engineer, then use the discs as trade goods, but that requires water/trade goods to start with, plus at least a level or two for reverse engineer.

Of course, for a lot of things it doesnt matter TOO much. Being able to build more then one set of Ulnar Stimulators is generally worthless early on, though it does make a decent way to turn bits into water. Being able to learn a nuclear cell could be useful, and it does feel really nice to just be able to fill out your tinker list. And it does make data discs effectively "free", since you can build one and sell it back.  Doors are, basically not an issue for the most part. HOWEVER, there is one fairly major source it opens up, and that's all the stuff on the tables with the Urshibs. That can include hoversleds and nuclear cells pretty easily, among other artifacts, and examining them has risks.

I gotta say, I miss Wayfare. That was a fun space game, though not nearly as indepth as the various hellmoos. Always was a fascinating crew, though I do wish there was either a bit less or a bit more admin shenanigans.

There's a new sort of bombs that are amazing for that. Scarab bombs. Sturdy Fossil plus regular bombs. Makes a long, directional hole 3 tiles wide.

My one real unfufilled ambition from my mod was to create a static map.

Imagine just being placed into a giant sarcophagus, with unbreakable concrete walls that block progress past it, and a whole town and surroundings in it.   It was possible back when I did mod the game, and should still be now.
There is the odd necropolis city I've run into a few times, which has a static if rotatable layout. Not sure if its still in or not, but it was a pretty hefty sized set piece.

Total war: Shogun 2 is free to keep starting monday. PCGamer seems to think its going to be a giveaway on steam, the total war article seems to indicate that you have a chance to download it free to the PC during that week but doesnt specify if is from a service.

Also, Pac Man 2 Championship edition is currently free on steam for the next short bit. Unsure of how long remains in that.
