EPISODE 1: Invasion of the Greenskins!
MISSION 1: Apprehend the Round Creature!

The control computer onboard the escape pod flashed with red and pink lights, until a small, robotic bunny showed up.

"Hi! I'm BON-BON, HoNK's computer mascot! Do not worry!! Everything's running fine!! We're approaching planet Nobelia, Yamato District, Chichirokawa Town, at speeds that are best left untold!!" A timer showed up, counting down from one full minute.

"Keep your seatbelts fastened and prepare for landing! 52 seconds to go!!..."

Meanwhile, down on the surface...

A goblin, with his body wrapped in a Nobelian flag, stepped onto a large, flat rock, to address his fellow greenskins.

"We un gut un-ion-ize, we gun not fite for overlards any-mur! Is not our destineh!!" He shouted at his comrades.
....sssssss...
"We musta maked our un countreh, where goblin and non-goblin can live in arrmony!" Other goblins nodded their heads at his words, agreeing with his viewpoint.
...ssSSSSHHHH...
"Got uh country made an we can build things! Make ice-crim! Ice-crim for all gobluns! This promise you me, if we take things in ur ands! Few of the more-aware goblins began listening it to the background, as there was quite a noise they couldn't simply localize...
...ssSSHHOOOOOOOOMM-
"Erect meh as presidunt, and am promise to-
*CRASH!!*

BON-BON bounced happily on the computer screen.

"We have safely arrived at outskirts of Chichirokawa!! It's twenty-five degrees outside, with sun out and zero clouds and a gentle breeze! Approximately eight thousand baddies have been detected in the half-kilometer radius around the escape pod!! Prepare for immediate combat situation!!" With a loud, metallic 'bomf', the escape pod's blast door was catapulted to the outside, allowing the Heroes to disembark from their craft.

"Good luck! Good luck! Good luck!" BON-BON disappeared from the screen.

A horde of angry goblins, wielding their crude weapons, snarled and hissed at the four Heroes.

It's fightin' time!!!

Marie blasts her buster at archergobbo 2, exploding them instantly! (1dmg) +1 AP!

Pip Serpent throws his Triadic dice at Goblin 3!

Meanwhile, Pips Serpent rigs the dice again and deals with hobgoblin 2! (3dmg)

Enemies Turn:

hobgoblin 1 tries to return the favor, but his stick bonces off T'liki's carapace!

goblin 5 sucker-punches Marie! (-1dmg)

goblin 6 follows along with his heavy stick, whacking Marie! (-1dmg)

goblin 7 attempts to get rid of spooder, but T'liki says no!

hobgoblin 3 swings his stick at Doomblob, but then realizes it was foolish!

goblin 8 stabs Marie in the gut with a kitchen knife! (-1dmg)

ninjagob 1 tries to slay T'liki with his curved sword, but it's too blunt to pierce the carapace!

hobgoblin 3 is next to try! Nope! T'liki impervious!

goblin 8, seeing futility of his brethren, plunges a sharp stick at Pips Serpent's head! (-1dmg)

ninjagob 1 slashes at Doomblob, who shrugs off the blow!

hobgoblin 4 tries to punch Marie, but bounces off her barrier! (Energy Barrier: -1HP)

ninjagob 3 attacks Marie from other side! That's no difference for her barrier, though! (Energy Barrier: -1HP)

Turn 5!

Marie's Energy Barrier flashes few times and them fizzles out with a hiss.

The goblins at the battlefield become excited for some reason... then, small tremors come from behind the trees as a hulking silhouette can be seen coming from the the woods. Something big's coming!!

And Pips Serpent got stabbed by the kitchen-knife-wielding ninjagob 3! (-1hp)

Turn 6!

A big, club wielding greenskin stomps from behind the trees! He roars and then steps into clearer view, showing that he is blocky, has thick shoulders, and is definitely not a round creature!

A pair of RPGoblins flank the newly arrived boss!! (+1 Boss, +2 Named Mooks)

The spider climbs onto the Troll and sinks his mandibles into the skin, sticking venom in... and nothing happens!? (-1hp, +1 Intrinsic)

Marie sends two Micromissiles and successfully detonates RPGobbo 2! (2x3 fire dmg) +1 AP!

Then Marie also slashes Troll Club Warrior with her Plasma Blade, making the power of plasma and atom degenerate the ugly greenskin boss! (-4hp, +Plasma Burn, +Irradiated)

The dice are cast, and full house arranged...

He moves next to Marie and minimally floats over the ground by sheer willpower as he pulls out another die, one that glows like space, which he throws alongside the artillery beam.

goblin 11 went after Doomblob, which also wasn't a smart idea, this time due to that protective suit!

goblin warrior 1 then showed his brethren how's it done, cutting Doomblob a bit! (2-1 = 1dmg)

Turn 9!

The burns on the troll's body charred him even more! How much longer can he last!? (-1hp, -2hp)

Another trio of mooks have arrived! One with axe, one with bow, and one hoping to achieve greatness with nothing but his fists! (+3 Mooks)

The credit chips started to beep and flash, and holographic images started to show above the chips, shuffling one by one at rapid speeds.

Then there was a 'ding!'.

"Software update completed! HerOS 2 available for use!!"

"Can you hear me?" Liaison Officer's voice came from within the chips. "We forgot to put this upgrade on your chips earlier, and I've remembered just now. Your chips can now be used as location trackers, radio receivers, ID cards for ID scanners and also as pin-pointers for the Tele Tag system, which the Engineering is currently adding to the station systems!"
"Is the connection secured?"
"Oh, hi dad! Yes, the chips can be used to transmit data now..."

"I've asked you not to call me dad while we're at duty."
"Ah, oh, oops! Forgot about that!..."
"Right. Listen up, heroes! The round creature has been last spotted in Chichirokawa Apple Park. From your position, there's no straight way to the Apple Park. You will either have to navigate your way through the Downtown's alleys and neighbourhoods or march to Chichirokawa-Atsumi Highway, and follow it all the way until you find an exit leading to Apple Park. "Initiating lockdown procedures for the escape pod!! Please abandon the vessel!" Once the crew was away, a searingly hot red force-field blocked the entrance.

"Lockdown in place! Security defense net activated! Good luck to Heroes of Nobelia!! Death to all intruders!!" The console went black as security cameras and gun turrets popped from the pod's plating.

The group had no choice but to move on to...

EPISODE 1: Invasion of the Greenskins!
MISSION 2: The Search For The Round Creature!

As they moved through the downtown, they could see wrecked cars, burning houses and goblinoids sprawling across the alleys and walls and playgrounds.

Quickly enough, the brave heroes were beset by enemies!
