How about an implied facepalm?

God, I'd use that if I could write it.  It's totally the expression she's making, too >_>

There is always that turning your head slightly in one direction and leaning it forward a bit, then sligtly closing your eyes.

Or you can just give them the dissapoint mask:

Eh, no problem.

Incidentally, about the avatar... hmm...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Why does it flash up for a second then dissappear?  It's beginning to bother me slightly :/.

It... disappears?  Hmmmm.  I may have to change it, then.  Thanks for the tip.

If only I were filming this, because then I would do that ._.

Nah.  Still slightly too intrusive.

Sorry, I didn't get from your description that you needed it for whatever you are writing at the moment :O

I have tried for centuries to capture that look in writing.  Nothing.  It can't be done.

You would need to take a page and a half out to describe that look.

That means it's time to revive Victor Hugo!  Goddamn, I love that man's writing, even though most of it was about architecture rather than whatever was supposed to be happening at the moment.

Just tell him it's a new monument and he'll have it for you.

Thank god.  Finished work on my short story for now, because swear to god, I feel like stabbing to death and then burning it.  I hear that this should be considered Major Progress.

If you're still having trouble with fight scenes, R.A Salvatore does some of the best physical fights I've ever seen. He's good with emotions too, but he really shines in the war scenes.

Nah, it's not a fight scene... sorry if that got confusing.  It's minor actions, like "a new way to say someone walked across the floor for the goddamned 10 millionth time."

I set it in a little (probably 7x7) room with very few furnishings because I thought it would be neat, image-wise.  Result?  10 pages of people blathering at each other and becoming increasingly upset.

Thanks for the rec, though.  I haven't read any Salvatore for a really long time, so maybe I should look back at some point.

Akinator's logic is sometimes interesting.

I mean, it knew my character was a green adorable pokemon on four legs, which couldn't fly, talk or act mystical.  And yet it still felt the need to ask whether it lived in Texas (?) or was the leader of a religious group (???).
