It seems that I enjoy defacing Shook's art more than I do drawing on a blank canvas.

Is there a word that combines comedy with tragedy and farce?
Heiterverzweiflung. Not a legit German word so much as something a friend and I made up in German class once. "Carefree despair". When life is so fucked that you can't stop laughing.

Spoiler: Animation I made (click to show/hide)

Not perfect, I kinda wanted to have the desk cast a shadow, but didn't for various reasons (time, composition, laziness).
I gotta find something less clunky than AfterEffects for animating vectors

Dropbox dun like me. Stick it on something like imgur or img.ie? I doubt I'll be the only one with a problem.

In my opinion, the flashlight man seems a little out of place. It feels like he's drawn with a different artstyle. I think you need to give him an outline. It would also help to draw lines on the hat as well to better convey depth. Otherwise though, it's very impressive.

Lets use the ancient naval art of training war parrots. No one will realize they have been boarded by space war parrots until it is to late!
You can fake being able to run on water. You can't fake looking cool when you break your foot on a door and hit your head on the floor.

Ooo, that's pretty cool! What'd you use to make it?

Magical melting ingots and a moonwalking furnace operator? SIGN ME UP. Always fun to see what silly things people do with my doodles. c:

Hoh hoh, I remember that.

Gonna be honest here, I found your stickmen of yore while lurking many moons ago and thought they were utterly hilarious; they were a pretty large part of the reason I got DF in the first place.

Do I see hamstone's face on that anvil? Hamvil, if you will?
Hot damn, you even caught HAMVIL FROM HAMVILLE, colour me impressed! :v
Anyhoo, i am super glad to hear that, because i've also had a blast making the lot of them. I've shoved (almost) all of them into a convenient Imgur album if anyone's interested, although it's missing the two most recent ones. :P

Adobe AfterEffects. I can keyframe the paths of vector shapes (including layer masks) with it, but it's designed for general video editing/special effects, so it takes a bit to render things. Plus, it can't render directly to GIF, so I have to convert the video in Photoshop (which takes even longer).

I woulda, but it'd probably have taken me another hour and I wanted to get it up so I could use it for a game.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to demand (in a polite and respectful manner!) more shook-style dancing gifs. Please?

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

Hey, I want to get a digital sketch or paint of my kids as a present to my wife. Any idea where I would go and what price to expect? I don't want to spend heaps but would like to support an artist.

Check out Deviantart, lots of good artists take commissions there.

Is there a central spot to request or do you have to hit up your own artist?
