Increasing attributes of dwarves
« on: May 21, 2008, 12:30:00 pm »

I've read that you can still gain attribute increases above the 5th level for each category, and that there are no attribute caps.  Does anyone know if the attributes continue to increase at a constant rate?  And in particular, does the speed attribute keep increasing?  Can I have a dwarf who moves three squares compared to any other creatures one?

You can not gain past the highest attribute level; Ultra-Mighty, Perfectly Agile, and Superdwarvenly tough.

There are however, 6 levels of legendary skills. They don't show it but you can be anywhere from legendary to legendary+5.

So the wiki is dead wrong, there are caps, but at the same time skills keep increasing?

Not according to my Legendary Miner, Legendary Organizer, Legendary Record Keeper...

According to dwarf companion he's got 22 levels in organizer (7 over legendary), 21 levels in record keeper (6 over legendary), and 16 in mining (+1 over legendary).
He's also got 4 strength, 8 agility, and 8 toughness, as a note 5 would be Ultra-mighty/Perfectly agile/Superdwarvernly Tough.

God I hope he never goes berserk.

Of course Dwarf Companion could be wrong.

So dwarf companion can see them?

Tell me, does it give you a speed number like we see in adventure mode?

I'm asking this because I've got a one dwarf fort, and speed is incredibly important when every job goes to one person.  It says in the wiki 1800 for perfectly agile, which sounds about right, but I'm thinking how things would be if I could get that up into the 3000 range.
