... didn't we have a pizza thread at some point? I remember a gigantic poll...The Ultimate Pizza Topping Poll! (http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=157857) There were many choices: chicken, pineapple, barbecue sauce, and then a bunch of stuff that didn't matter.
Personally, I like pizza
I remember making pizza for some kid a few days ago.
Turned out he hates both mushrooms and salami so after taking out those he was left with cheese onions and lots of garlic sauce...
My diet is 70% pizza at all times. That is not even an exaggeration. Of my meals over the last two days, 2/3rds have been pizza in some shape or form.
We have three pizza haters in our midst, but they dare not speak their names. Proof of the cowardly nature of pizza haters.Four if you include my vote just then. I don't hate pizza as such, I'm just not a huge fan of it. I think it's mediocre really.
We need to hold him down, and pry his mouth open Clockwork Orange-style and forcefeed him different pizza until he tells us he loves it.Anything else would be inhumane!
Simple, we will offer everybody on Bay 12 a slice of greasy, thick, garlic crust triple-bacon and feta cheese pizza. No rational human being would hesitate in the face of such an opportunity.
All who refuse will be shot.
Hey, I used an mspaint edited version of that same painting not that many pages ago in the Ameripol thread, I think.

I was too lazy to find it.
Italian pizzas with the thin, dry bottoms with crispy edges are delicious. American pizzas with a donut-like fatty thick bottom are an affront to pizza though.
The latter have sadly overtaken most real pizza bakers here in town. Damn you, NY Pizza, damn you, Domino's. If you'd dare call that pizza in Sicily, you'd be going on a sightseeing tour of the Mediterrenean with your feet cast in concrete.
Here's a better question for the poll: Is pineapple a valid pizza topping?
answer no it's fucking not

Pineapple makes any pizza twice as good.

Hawaiian pizza is best pizza
I guess some people like them flat. That's okay. For me though. I like them big. The idea of pizza toppings on a donut does seem disgusting though. An unglazed donut with pizza toppings would more or less be what we call bagels, and they're pretty good with pizza toppings. They sell frozen ones in a lot of the grocery stores around here, iirc.
Eeehhh... depends on the donut and the bagel. I've had bagels with a consistency and taste fairly on par with normal donuts. I've had donuts with a consistency and taste roughly the same as normal bagels. Number of factors involved, really. They can substitute if you really feel like it.How long did you microwave, and at what wattage?
And yeah, for what it's worth, the way I did it was take leftover pizza (want to say the last time was just plain pepperoni? Was something cheap, but from an actual pizza joint, and wasn't cheese, so probably pepperoni), slice a donut in half and put it on top, then stick 'em in the microwave and reheat. It was good.
I suppose a cake donut is pretty close to a bagel, excepting the topping. I had in mind the other type. What type of donut are you talking about pizza wise? Was just simple sugar glazed, no filling. Donut shop, something local-ish to the area I was in at the time.. forget what it was called, though. Do... don't use chocolate anything. Chocolate does not go well with cheese. I won't say ever, but I will say every time I've tried it has been horrifying.
Well now you're just being kinky.
This is a child friendly forum and you can take your culinary smut innuendo elsewhere >:( I may be joking :V
Thin crust? Pan crust? cheesy crust?Pretty much anything besides thin. Even thin is acceptable on occasion (and it's basically the only way to get frozen pizza without tomato sauce), but it is far from my preferred pizza base.
What say you?
You need to swing by the store for more pineapples, after all.Aside from canned food which probably contained pineapple...nah. I don't deal with produce.
... actually. Have you ever transported pineapple, siru?
I am making a pizza today because of this thread :D
Why are you raising threads from the dead. Let them rest in pizza.Fixed you for that
