The elevator serving our Hong Kong office is called 'Schindler's Lifts'.

Quite possible the name predates the popcultural reference; Schindler's company is still up and running under his name.
I wouldn't consider the Holocaust pop culture, to be honest...
I think it was reference to the movie "Schindler's List". It would make more sense, stupid as it may be.

Then you get cities like Paris where you should basically just kill yourself already.

You won’t have to think anymore: it’ll be just like having fun!

It's clever, but not smart.

Eh, I'd say it's intelligent, but certainly not wise. It's dumb at least as far as conscientiousness goes, though, and that's a pretty damn important quality.

I... what?

School... tests... burned?

...

Why would anyone think that's a good idea? Unless they're a disgruntled student, in which case it's totally reasonable.

The answers to both of your questions are right there in the text. :P

Don't laugh. My deforestation has killed more than one dwarf and critter. It once killed a mother and her kittens just after she'd given birth.

The death came not from logging, but from deconstructing a floor tile. Also, wasn't me.

But yeah, probably. The yields are just so high now, y'know?

I remember one test where the guy drew a giraffe and said 'I can't see the question. A giraffe is in the way.'
Giraffe is tough enough, let me tell you. Tough enough.

Since when did Need For Speed turn into a Saturday morning cartoon?
Those actually look good. Surrealism never goes wrong, it's just a bit out of tone with what EA normally does with NFS.
