"Hundreds of times" wider than the Amazon and flowing at a rate of a millimeter per hour. Sounds more like an aquifer.

the nothern part of Brasil are so sparsely populated that we have  cities bigger than portugal,but the urban area of the cities is very small and usually it's on bad conditions.
