Started drinking my coffee black + only adding any sugar myself at home when I intend to do that, + changed the sandwiches I was eating out from mostly BLT to mostly egg & fish. Instantly started losing the extra weight that has accumulated over the past few months. The daily coffee + sandwich out is to get me out of the house and make sure I eat a vegetable LOL. Vector's still fighting major depression.

Really glad and surprised that it was this easy; I already feel much better and this is a fairly minor lifestyle change for me as those things go. I'm sure that the slowly lowering stress level isn't hurting, either. And I'm reading some enjoyable books.


Also had a friend & her partner over for "entertaining" last night for the first time in . . . might be since 2019. First time I have met someone new, not over the internet, in more than a year. We had tea and chocolate chip cookies, played a card game, and then went & used their telescope to look at the full moon.

Hey, congrats! I'm really happy for you.

I should probably start tippling on the V8 I have tucked away in my pantry; I'm sure the vegetables and extra sodium should help with the head rush I get every time I so much as stretch my arms.
