Doesn't hurt to keep it around.

Ah, I remember when GreatWyrmGold tried to do this.

You'd think someone would have made an individual's game archive thread by now.

Are these on the stickied forum games thread at the top of FG&RP?

Yeah mate. We already have a thread for game listing. It's sticked and everything.

What I meant was something for individuals to just post their own stuff in so they could link to it, like the sig thread.

I figured I wouldn't bother, considering the proprietor of that thread has been offline for months.

I wish I could sage my posts...

What if it's none of the above?

Although, I suppose my idea would fall under More Intrigue...

Ah, yes. I forgot to add an 'other' option.

Please, do specify.

Just player ability to do background/behind-the-scenes stuff and make their own plans and such. See how it falls under intrigue?

Hm, I don't quite understand. Is there something preventing you from doing that now?

Also, I appreciate the votes, everyone, but I'm really looking for specifics.

In regards to BoE, I'd like to submit a vote/request for the game to actually start.

It's been a week since Mead Mix's bet. Sam said he's out, Basayen is in, and Aurora said she was out, at least in her original post prior to the amulet edit you requested. So I don't think we're waiting on anything. But altogether it's now been 12 real life days that our party has been sitting in a waiting room...waiting.

Keeping in mind especially that this two weeks of sitting in a waiting room is happening immediately after a week of the ring talking to only one of us at a time while the other two waited their turns...the end result is that very little has happened for a very long time. As of today the game has been running for a month, and pretty much all we've done is introduce ourselves. And we haven't even been able to finish that because we haven't even met half the party.

Unless I'm mistaken, this entire sequence with the ring at all is basically just for roleplaying and flavor, right? I mean...nobody's really expecting that the npcs will be chosen, right? So two weeks of sitting in a waiting room just getting to see if we're chosen to actually play the game seems excessive.

...so, yeah. Can we move it along a bit? I understand that we, the players, make the game too...roleplaying is part of the point here. But...I think the game could use a little nudge.

I agree, there's only so much we can do without it getting a little monotonous.

Yes, I apologize for the wait. That goes for all my games. Currently, I can only dedicate a couple of hours every couple of days to updating my games, if that. Things should speed up across the board as IRL things start to sort themselves out.

But, concerning tBoE specifically, I was actually waiting on either of you to reconsider joining the bet, since some things were cleared up OOC. I should have made a post expressing as much, but I forgot to. So, expect a post tonight.

Aurora would like to participate. The amulet is new magic, and that would interest her greatly. But like I mentioned in the OOC thread, she's not going to give up her pretty pretty diamond brush for it, meaning that money is the only suitable thing she has to gamble. Which is probably very suitable and it makes sense that she would have money to throw around on things like this, but I have absolutely no context and no information about the economy upon which to make something up and have it be reasonable.

So participating would mean yet another delay to explain how the economy works, get a quantified concept of the value of money, the value of items, the value of magic, etc. Between Aurora not taking the oath and Rolepgeek redesigning the amulet, it's already been two weeks that the vast majority of the game has been OOC discussion.

The game really doesn't need yet more delays caused by me asking about the economy.

Short answer (before I go do that post): You don't have enough money (on hand) to bet, I was just seeing if you were willing to bet the brush. I doubted you would, but was just giving you the opportunity to do so.

Ughh I spent 2 weeks designing back stories for my character all for nothing.

You know Patrick, just some friendly advice here, but you could try asking what Silcugar may or may not have planned for your character, instead of being passive-aggressive. And yes, you are, in fact, being passive-aggressive; you're claiming he wasted your time and/or deceived you.

Which, in all fairness, perhaps he did. But, that's the risk with playing RPGs on these forums especially. This time, the game just happens to not be dead when that happened.

Huh? Oh sorry should have made it clearer. The previous message was aimed at myself.

I wasted my time not him. He didn't ask for the story I decided to do it, that was just me venting my frustration. I don't blaim him for it at all he did say a while back we might not get selected.

Just thought of other things I could have done with all that time rather then wasting hours every day of my holiday in front of my computer and it made me feel like an idiot for getting way ahead of myself.

Hey Silcugar, could you perhaps make a new link to the OOC thread for Fallout AC?
Or should I just ask the mechanics question I had here, and forget about the old OOC?

Speaking of link requests, I'd like to again request (http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=131866.msg4685743#msg4685743) a link from this post (http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=132043.0) to this one (http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=131866.0). At present the links only exist one way. Thanks.

All links to OOCs are in the OP of this thread, which can be accessed through my sig. But I'll make a link in the OPs of the respective threads.

Wait, what, I only see one li-- Ohh, you sneaky sod. :P
You changed it since last time I checked, hehe. Alright then. I'll try and get in a turn before I have to go catch a plane today... but I might end up having to do it later, or tomorrow.
