I'm sure there are plenty of fine people in the organization. But there's enough of the crazies that PETA has earned its horrible reputation.

I'm pretty sure that most of the non-crazies are in groups that don't have a reputation for being crazy.

I'm pretty sure the non-crazies either have left the organization or just stayed because they like being "undercover".

Saw a kid spend five minutes trying to find Russia.

It was a map of the Americas.

geography failure.

we all know they're in the Rockies! :P

Lies, Mt. Everests are all in the Appalachians! Why would people in Chie-nah name their mountain some Amurrican name?

I remember an Australian comedian who went to the US, pretending to be the Australian PM, and thanking Americans for their support in defending South Korea. He had with him a map of Australia, with Australia proper labeled "North Korea" and Tasmania labeled "South Korea".

There were entirely too many people who bought it. >_<
IIRC, he was somewhere in Texas, which explains it to some degree.

"I didn't realize just how much larger North Korea was than South Korea."

Didn't he also give them a lil' flag to plant down on where they thought Murrica should invade next?

*He had flags placed on "North Korea, Iran" and so forth to make it look like previous murricans had made the decision, so mob behaviour kicked in and any doubts they would've had of the map would've been expunged.

Yup, that's the one. I facepalmed through the back of my head at that point.

Link please?

To remain on topic: During german class, some guy stood up and walked out of the classroom. He wasn't a part of our class, and at least half of the class was surprised he was there. The teacher wouldn't even have noticed if he hadn't said: Wait a minute, this isn't my class... As he stood up and left.

Bwahahaha.

I could see myself doing that.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

I've done that before in classes I am supposed to be in. Because I'm the Socially Awkward Penguin in any situation that is even slightly unfamiliar.

I do that all the time.
Sometimes on purpose, like I go in on my day off and sit in a random classroom until the lecturer tells me to leave.
