The GM (Game Master) posts a situation you, the players, are in. You then post your actions, exactly one action per turn. Once all players have made their actions, the GM posts again, with the results of the actions and the state of the world around you. After which you post actions again, ad infinitum.
The action results are defined by a six-sided die roll:
[1]: Epic Fail. Whatever you tried to achieve, you didn't, and you made it worse.
[2]: Fail. You didn't, or couldn't do what you tried to.
[3]: Meager success: You didn't fail, but you didn't succeed either. Like trying to sit on two chairs but ending up on one.
[4]: Success: You succeeded in your plight. All consequences are now your problem.
[5]: Epic Success: You succeed in the most positive way possible. The universe will bend to your will.
[6]: Overshot: You achieved what you tried to achieve, but you made it worse by doing so in the most inhumanely overpowerful way possible. Casualties are inevitable.
In addition, if at any time something threatens you, you get a free roll to dodge it. If you end up in a very bad situation as a result of the first dodge roll, you may or may not get another free roll to narrowly escape death.
Swarm rules: Each successive dodge roll during a turn, unless it is a dodge against the same object or character, will get a -1 bonus.
Some status effects may grant "failguard". For the duration of these effects, the final total of any action roll will never be below 2.
If you are Stunned, Dazed, Dizzy, Confused, or otherwise receive a temporary penalty to overall or individual rolls, this penalty lasts until your next action is resolved, and not through the whole turn.
Combo rules:
You can spend your turn to help another player achieve his goal. If your roll is higher, it is taken as the success roll for the action.
You can also spend your turn to botch another player's action. If your roll is higher, its opposite is taken as the success roll for the action.
In both cases, individual player rolls determine what happens to the players in the course of the action.
Action rules:
Some actions may be considered "free", depending on the circumstance, and not require a roll.
As such, these actions can be paired with normal actions without penalty.
I try to remember how I might have gotten here.| You focus your mind on remembering who or what took you in that room. After a while you understand that you, and the other, went here by your own will, not forced by anyone, and you see blurry images of people putting you in the machine, and activating it before everything went dark. You can remember that it was a dangerous… experiment? Period? Life? person? You don’t know, but you know there was a danger. After remembering all this, for some reason you can’t understand, you feel sad. Thinking that darkness surely won’t improve your mood, you take a flashlight and light it.
Take flashlight, rip off a part of my shirt and fashion a headband out of it.|in the darkness, you can’t find the flashlight. Wasting your time looking for them, you can’t make an headband. After Diakron (he said that is his nickname) lights his flashlight you can finally see where he took it. You grab a flashlight and you light it.

Since there is no proper weapon you decide to rip a metal tube out of one of the machines and use it as blunt weapon. You don’t want to enter the glass cylinder again anyway , so you don’t care about breaking the machine.
run towards the exit| the room is small, you don’t need to rum. You just walk toward the door net to the flashlights, and open it. You also take a flashlight and light it. You enter a corridor and wave the flashlight ; you see a door at the end, with a sign clearly meaning “exit”, and several doors are on the side of the corridor. You stop on the doorstep, undecided.

I try to figure out what the machinery is meant to do.|trying to understand what was the purpose of the machines you went out from, you start examining all the pieces, moving all the mobile parts, but while using this unwise technique |you feel a big sparkle of static electricity ; that thing must be isolated from the ground. You must be thankful to the fact that it had little chance to charge in the probably long time since it was abandoned. Your left hand, however, is numb. -1 to all actions with it for a turn.
Open one of the doors in the corridor and search the revealed room for useful equipment.|You go out into the corridor discovered by Jetsquirrel and open the first door on the right |. It is a storage room, with several crates left on the ground, probably useful and maybe left there for you. |On a crate, you quickly spot a needle gun RL 152 produced in 1857 P.G. and equipped with somniferous darts… how do you know all that? Just after you, in the room enters Flintus, who opens a crate. You walk behind him, to know what he found, when you suddenly hear somebody behind you shouting; |You turn toward the door but before you can focus on what happened, something heavy hits you in the left shoulder and bounces; |you fall on the ground, landing on your right side, but receive no further damage. Looking at your left upper arm you see that black areas started appearing; it hurts when you try to move but you know that is nothing compared to what it will be if the bruise grows too much. If you don’t move it, however, pain isn’t much, so you stand up again. It will take some time to heal probably. Surely you was more lucky than Flintus, whose face is now a bloody mess due to a broken nose.
(AI) explore other rooms|You think about exploring the one of the rooms but after seeing 3 people going in the corridor already and decide not to join the crowd. Beside, after Kashyyk threw all the flashlights on the ground you think that it would be dangerous to run in the room.
RUN TOWARD THE EXIT AGAIN!!!! and keep running|You decide to test your physical abilities and run toward the exit door. In a quick sprint you open it, revealing a stair leading to another door, this time quite sturdy and made of steel. You run upstairs and push it, as strongly as you can after running the whole corridor, but after opening a bit, it jams. You can’t move it either way, and the opening isn’t wide enough even for just your arm, much less a whole person.

In a crate you find | some fuel tanks and you quickly take them! |You hear a loud crack as the door strongly hit the wall, and you Hear Kashyyk “ WOooOo” . Forgetting that you still had a fuel tank in your hand you quickly turn to see what happens but instead you hit Hellhound in the shoulder and, after losing balance, you hit yourself in the face. |. You got a broken and bleeding nose, the hit was strong enough to make you fall on the ground and you feel dizzy for the shock, but you think you got no serious damage. You should, however, bandage the bleeding nose.

Flintus10: I will search for some more useful equipment if RAM is successful with first aid. If RAM is not successful I will try and fix my broken nose with any medical supplies I can find.
Hearing all the noise RAM decides to follow the other people and help them, whatever horrible thing happened in that room. When he arrives , other people are nearly fighting among themselves, Flintus shouting at Kashyyk, Hellhound pointing a gun at him. “ Is that the way you enter? My nose is broken because of YOU!” “ I told you, I didn’t want to do anything bad. It is not my fault.. “ “ Your fault or not, don’t follow me anymore, or I’ll shoot you with this GUN” “ hey, calm down! I told you I didn’t want-“ “ SHUT UP! Or I will really SHOOT you!” an hissing is heard in the air, something falls on the ground. “ Kashyyk!” “ Gods… what have I done…”. Hellhound runs out of the room, quickly opens another door and disappear in a new room, while RAM, worried, rushed into the storage room, finding Kashyyk on the ground, immobile, lifeless… “ Is he …” “no, don’t worry, he is just sleeping… it might take hours until he wakes up, but he will be fine. An headache at most.” “ Why did Hellhound shoot him? Oh, and threaten shoot Kashyyk if he follows.|after all the mess described above you, still feeling guilty for shooting at Kashyyk “ you didn’t want to do it, your finger REALLY slipped”, enter one of the 3 rooms left on the corridor|; it is some kind of a lounge, that was probably also used as dining room. It has some tables, chairs, a TV, some computers in the opposite wall, probably for personal use, and a coffee selling machine in a corner. |due to all this running and shooting, your bruise got much worse, it hurts, and your arm looks a bit swollen… but maybe it is just in your eyes. You wish for a working fridge with some ice in it… but power is out, and any ice must have melted by now.
practice stealth and tracking by finding everyone and following them| Following the footprints in the thick dust is too easy to train tracking, but you decide to try to hide behind one of the vats, and wait till somebody entered the room to see if they could detect you. After a while you get bored and try to get out but you feel a pain in the head and black out|but after few seconds you open your eyes again. You a metal tube, and you got a small headache, but no damage was done. You stand up and wait until the headache goes away

After healing Flintus, Ram decides to explore more carefully the place to find any information about the facility, their past and how they got in that place, how many years it has been since their first death… if it was really death. He is entering the room when he hears Diakron: “ PYROKINESIS!”. He then sees Diakron watching his hand in horror when he understand that it is overheating and slowly turning red due to the heat; “MY Hand! It is burning!!!”. Diakron, focusing on the half of his mind that isn’t flooded by pain tries to reverse the heating: the hand starts cooling, the red glow goes away to leave behind it a layer of deep burns in the hand. Touching it, he feels it is no more warm, it is cool… no, cold. Too cold! He sees his hands turning blue and snow forming on it before being able to stop the flux of magic. The pain is now so much that he falls on the ground, and the only word he can say is:”morphine…”. “ Diakron, what did you do? What was that? Magic? Is your hand still.. alive?” “I wish it was dead! It hurts like drinking melted iron!” “Maybe there is something against the pain in storage room. Look at the … uh… bright side. That is much more power than somebody without any magic knowledge would be able to do. Probably you could use Thermal magic before whatever happened to us.”He has just the time to turn when he sees a bright flash and make a leap back out of surprise, hearing a loud crack near his spine- he found what he was looking for, a working, even if powerless, terminal. Now crashed. When he can finally open his eyes again he see Jetsquirrel’s laughing face; He arrived with a turned off light and sneakily lit it in RAM’s face. “ What the Hell man? KashyykAI: find something to keep me awake in storage room
Kashyyk wakes up, terribly drowsy, and quickly looks in the room for caffeine pills or anything else to keep him awake, with the help of Flintus, but finds nothing. Meanwhile Hellhound is trying without much success to heal his arm by magic. He seems to feel something, and the bruise IS better, but he can’t understand if it was him or bruise’s natural evolution. He hears Kashyyk in the corridor:”Caffeine! I need caffeine!”.” Hey, Kashyyk, come here. There is a coffee machine. It doesn’t work but if we get it open there might still be freeze-dried coffe”. Hearing this, Kashyyk rushes into the room-“COFFEE!!” and shakes, without much effect, the coffee machine. You also hear Diarkron screaming in pain, but since he stops soon, you don’t bother looking. Digital also apologizes to Kashyyk in every way humanly possible.
I will search for some more objects to go with the funnel and fuel tanks.|You Look in the room for a car or a generator big enough to need the fuel tanks you found, but there is no such thing in there. You help Kashyyk looking for some caffeine pills but give up when you see him running away. Suddenly, a cry of pain is heard: “MY Hand! It is burning!!!”. You go out in the corridor to look where it came from and you see Diakron, in the Vat room , with a burnt-frozen hand… it must hurt a lot. Jetsquirrel walks past you, asking you to keep silence, the he sneakily approaches RAM and flashes him! What a child.

RAM, seeing the damage done to the hand, sacrifices his sleeves to make a big bandage on Diakron’s hand, totally ingoring his pain “ AHHRGH! Stop it, it hurts!!” “ Stop whining, Diakron, and act like an adult person. We need to avoid infections and further damage” “ I would like to see you here. I bet you would complain even more! It is like havin’ veins filled with boiling LEAD! And this huge, awkard huge balancing won’t stop the pain. I doubt it can do much more than disallowing me to use the hand!” “ That hand is NOT supposed to be moved. Now lets go to storage room to find a pain killer, so that you are happy.” The 2 walks toward storage room, Diakron holding his left hand with the right hand, due to the extra weight and more than doubled side. There, they find Flintus on the floor, who seems to be trying to squeeze his brain. Deciding to leave him alone, they look in the crates for a pain killer; They find a gel-like one, which can easily be put in the bandage, for a lasting pain effect. “ Now, it should be a bit better… the hand looks bad, but after pain goes away you should be able to use it normally. Till then keep the bandage, or your hand will hurt again.” “This ‘Bandage’ makes my hand look like a grey blob of cloth!”
Digital Hellhound: I now try to use telekinesis powers by breaking down and reassembling the coffee machine.- Fine, I'll reassemble it once Kashyyk's ready.
Kashyyk:Beat coffee machine with a chair, then eat raw Coffee.
Digital Hellhound strikes a menacing pose, with his hands toward the coffee machine, trying to use magic to bash it; after realizing that he just looks stupid, he helps Kashyyk who is shaking and punching the coffee machine trying to get it open. Unluckily the thick layer of rust is , well, thick, and you haven’t managed to open the machine yet. Kashyyk, tired, falls asleep.
Practice at manipulating metal|You open your hands , you raise your arms on the sides, feeling strength, feeling power… you let out an evil laughter: now it is all perfect, you can do everything!! Well, until you open your eyes and see that nothing moved in the room. But in your dream it was really good.
After hearing what happened I will focus my mind and look for memories and any abilities I may have once had.|You sit down and try to remember, you focus your mind, you use up to your last brain cell to know who you was before being put in a vat. In a sudden flash, you remember! You remember that you cheated on the tests and your abilities aren’t on the same level as other’s… and if you wasn’t discovered it was only because your father was an important person. You did it out of fear, you didn’t want something to happen, you had to be accepted. You feel guilty and ashamed, thinking that somebody else could be there instead of you. You can’t understand your feelings well: what did you fear? Why would somebody else like to be put in a vat? But even if you can’t understand your guilt and shame, they overwhelm you and you are confused.

Most power cables run into the walls, but RAM manages to winds a big group of wires that seem to go through the vat room and enters the first door on the left . you open that door and you find yourself in a big room with a ceiling higher than that of the other rooms you have seen till now. There are cables everywhere on the floor, there are shelves, tools, the floor is dirty but the first thing you see is the machine that fills the room from the center to the back. It is made of turbines and graphite chambers, it is a nuclear power plant, very small actually, with an output surely bigger than the one needed to power the lights and the vats. What was all that energy used for? There is no nuclear fuel around (luckily), but maybe there is some smaller generator somewhere. “ hey, people, I may have found the way to finally get light in this place.”. Flintus, hearing your call runs in the room but stumbles on some wires, that break! He keeps balance and doesn’t fall, but wherever these wires went to, there will be no power unless you repair them. Nothing to worry about, probably.

RAM looks in the shelves to find some insulating tape to fix the wires, since exposed as they are there is a danger of somebody walking into them and being electrocuted after starting the generator, but surprisingly there is none. Why wouldn’t engineers keep some in a room full of wires? After your shelf exploring, you suddenly understand why: Jetsquirrel took it and is now busy attaching 2 full fuel tanks to himself. “ what are you going to use that for? Are you planning to explode? If so, please, stay away from our only power source.” “ my plans can’t be understood by you.”. Flintus , after taking 2 more fuel tanks, starts looking for a place in the generator to put fuel in, but he has no luck.
Digital Hellhound Take a pillow from one of the beds and go whack Kashyyk awake with it.

Kashyyk wakes up once again, opens the lock of the coffee machine and finds the coffee bag. He eats half of the raw coffee before getting too disgusted. Eww… but now he feels much better, the effects of sleep toxins negated by the overload of caffeine; awake, but “slightly” nervous. Digital hellhound enters the room and smashes a pillow in Kashyyk’s face! “ GRAAAAAAWG! KASHYYK-SMASHES-PILLOW!!!!” . Kashyyk then drop the pillow on the ground and starts jumping on it, while Hellhound stares speechless. :O
try and heal my hand|Bah! You can’t wait for the hand to heal, there is no time to waste. You take your bandage off, and since you feel no pain, you close your hand, to see if it works well. Odd, you never noticed that your hand looks like a black blanked, decorated with small dots of light, and you didn’t even remember that you was on the ground. What ground? What building, what hand? You feel some pain, a mile away from your body, then everything disappear.

I realize that the strange fuzziness I felt in my mouth was actually some ancient chewing gum and use it to fix the wires...|umh…. No, it wasn’t a chewing gun, nothing useful in your mouth. You could try biting the wires, but you think it is not safe.

Hellhound tries to go out of the room to read the diary, but Kashyyk grabs him. “I NEED A CONTAINER FOR THE COFFEE!! HELP ME FIND ONE!!” “ oh… uhh… yes.. calm down..” “COFFE!” Hellhound takes a glass from a nearby tables and hands it to Kashyyk, scared “ well… why don’t you use it? Seems good” Kashyyk takes it and while he is busy examining it Hellhound flees outside. He enters the bedroom and lay down on a bed, needing to rest a bit. “ that man ate too much coffee. I hope his caffeine level goes down soon”.
wake up find some others|finally you wake up, but you flashlight doesn’t work. You walk toward a wall and then move toward the door, touching the wall to be sure not to run in circles. The door is open, but there is something blocking the corridor in front of it… corpses! The corpses of your family and friends, they are all there. It is not the corridor you remember, it is a different room, and you are alone in it. It smells of something horrible, but it is not just the bodies. The door behind you is there no more, you are trapped in the dark room. There are bodies and skulls on the ground, some of the skulls cracked as if they were bitten and utterly crushed by some kind of creature, you turn around, search the walls for an opening- LIGHT! You can clearly see everything, the wall in front of you breaks to reveal a beast like no one has ever seen, it jumps on you and it bites your head off your body! “ AHHHHHH”. It was a dream… you wake up but your flashlight doesn’t work. You walk toward a wall and then you move toward the door…
go to a new undiscovered place|You suddenly remember about the second door in the vat room and decide to discover what there is past it. You open the door and find a big room with computers on all the sides, maps on the walls, blueprints, desks, notes and chairs ,paper bins that were never emptied, even some chewing gum on the floor(maybe RAM would like it?) a control room of some kind. RAM Try to fix the wires using magic.
Flintus10: Try one last time to refuel the damn Generator!
Ram is sitting on the floor, concentrated, trying to understand how to repeat in a controlled manner what Diakron previously did in a wild and uncontrolled way; he feels the pulses of energy in his body, he finally manages to use them, to extend the pulses outside his body. He can touch the generator, Flintus, the floor, the air, the wires.
While Ram explores his new power, Flintus once again fights with the generator. In a desperate attempt to open the plug so that he can put fuel in, he puts both feet on the generator, grabbing the plug and pushing with all its strength.
Ram feels the hat of the things that surround him, he “touches” it, he can manipulate it- he start using the pulses of energy to “grab” packets of heat from the nearby air, floor, even flintus and himself and sending them to the wires. The wires , being so small, quickly heat up to red heat, then white, till they melt back together; Ram is careful to keep the exiting and incoming wires separated to avoid short circuits, but he can’t avoid melting part of the plastic cover. Just at the end of this act of magic, while still being aware of the surrounding, he feels an heat source flying toward him!
The plug, blocked by rust, suddenly gives in, breaking and sending Flintus flying across the room! Luckily Ram moves and Flintus only barely hits him in the arm, doing no damage, and then he lands on a fuel tank which absorbs most of the force, leaving Flintus uninjured but splashing the room with fuel. The generator is still dry, but both you and Ram , like most of the room’s floor, are covered by fuel.
Get away from Kashyyk and try start reading the diary again|You take the diary and open it. The cover and many pages are damaged by dampness and mould, many of them unreadable, but some still in a good shape. You start with one of the first pages.
awaken search for others again|using all the mental strength you have, you finally open your eyes, revealing a blurry vision on a crate just in front of you, on the floor of the storage room. Your head hurt, you must have hit it when you fell on the ground. You can’t feel your left hand, yet.. you can’t decide whether it is a good or a bad thing. You open your eyes once, twice, but you can’t keep yourself awake and you fall asleep again.
Eat that chewing gum and take those blueprints and some things out of the bins that are useful. After that Run to the monolith Research room|the blueprints are glues to the walls, and taking them would be impossible. Beside, you couldn’t understand if they are microwave ovens or super advanced spaceships… they are a mess of lines! After spending some time studying them(or pretending to do so), you decide to try to eat one of the old and used chewing gums that are on the floor. After picking up the dusty, stone like, ball of chewed chewing gum, for some reason you decide to drop it again.
I sit down on one of the chairs and try to force my hyper-activeness into a cage in my mind. I will be able to open it at will to release it.|Containing your mighty rage for a moment, you sit down and start to meditate, to stop your caffeine-self. You focus all your mind energies to separate that part of your brain from you, and at the end you manage to do it. You create a mighty cage, with a lock that only you can open, and you drop it on your other-self. He however, jumps toward you, trying to gain control over the body, and while you manage to dodge him, it is too late to dodge the cage, and you are both trapped, together. If you open the lock, he will knock you down, go out and seize the body… if you don’t open the lock you will be trapped until the body dies of thirst and hunger. Why did you make the cage out of unobtanium? You could have just smashed out quickly, without worrying about the caffeine-kashyyk attacking you from the shoulders. You notice now that he has 14 coffee cups printed on his shirt, and just before starting the fight he takes one and drinks it. ( remember, this is still your mind)|

After reading the first pages of the diary, Hellhound puts it in a pocket, and runs to the generator room, to call Flintus and the other people, to tell them to look for a map, to find the thing they took from the academy. He rushes into the room. “Hey, Flintus, Ram, you must see this! “ it takes little to notice that the room is full of fuel, and he is now slipping and falling. Hellhound falls on the ground, face down, and try to protect the head with arms and legs but even if they soften the hit, he falls unconscious. Ram and Flintus can’t do much , other that carefully walk toward him and check if he is still alive. He has bruises on both arms, but should have no lasting damage.
wake up and try to find a first aid kit|You wake up , the pain in the hand now bearable. You want, however, find a first aid kit and some morphine to properly heal yourself. You try to open the nearest crate, but it seem to be closed, so you take the crowbar and try to force it open.| But the pain strikes again! Your hand hurts, and you can’t open the crate. This time you don’t fall unconscious, but you feel a bit dizzy
TAKE THAT BALL EN GO TO THE MONOLITH|You take the rotten abomination of ancient chewing gum and move to the next room. At the center there is a … thing, a black, extremely flat, non-reflective cuboid whose dimensions are in the precise ratio 1:4:9. On its side it has a surprisingly neat and clean hole, much better than anything you could do with standard methods on standard materials. Inside, there is a great mass of electronic devices, the functions of most of them unknown not only by even the brightest minds on this world. It is put on some kind of huge operatory table, with wires connecting both inside and outside the black monolith. There are many computers on the wall, but all powered down, of course. Above the hole in the monolith, magnifying lenses, robotic arms with various tools and several other measuring instruments can be seen. The robotic arms were used to reduce danger of humans damaging something, despite it having shown to be nearly indestructible when needed.

Inside the cage in kashyyk’s mind, a great battle is fought: punches fly back and forth, bones are broken, limbs cut, but they can’t seem to damage each other, until at the end Kashyyk manages to punch Caffein-shyyk in the chest so hard, that a caffeine cup fly out of the shirt and breaks on the ground. Caffein-shyyk has to temporary retreat to drink a cup of coffee from his shirt, but he is back into the fight soon.

I wander the halls trying to put people back together.|You begin to wonder where your other team mates are, since you would all be safer together. After all, there could be anything out there and the only sure thing you remember is that something dangerous was around before you entered these vats. But instead of just running in all the rooms, you have the brilliant idea to use your ‘new’ magic powers to feel their heat , so that you can find out where they are quickly. it works wonderfully, but you get another idea: sound is pressure waves. Heat expands gas. So by manipulating heat you should be able to make sound, you can speak to them!|You manage to make yourself heard, even if it is barely possible to understand what you said. But you haven’t learnt yet to control how much heat your actions use, and you didn’t understand how much heat was needed to create sound! Surely that is not the best way. The heat taken by your action quickly overcomes the heat that your body generates and the air around you starts cooling. |You don’t notice it quickly enough and ice starts forming on your skin, pain arrives, and you stop focus your powers to suck heat from the nearby objects, before any damage is done. |You try to move the coldness into the fuel, which freezes around your feet! They are encased in fuel- ice and you are too tired to use your magic again.
Ugh. I try to heal my bruises
force my hand to heal itself|You try to use magic to heal your hand, You let energy flow in your hand. It enters, more and more, replacing tissue, rebuilding everything; it is strong and out of your control, and it is changing your hand! |You can’t stop it early enough to avoid taking damage |but at the end you manage to at least partially control what it does to your hand. Now the left hand is roughly doubled in size, and there are small bone spikes on all its joints. It is ugly, it doesn’t allow you to handle small objects, but it will be very useful in fist fights.
i use my intelligence to figure which wire to plug out and put it into y flashlight to recharge it|Failing to notice that it can be recharged at any power socket on the walls, you turn your flashlight off, leaving you in the darkness, and you start hacking the flashlight, managing only to break it and get the abomination-ball stuck inside it. Good job.
Screw the damn generator I am gonna get the map and then head outside.|Feeling a bad karma in the air, you decide to reach the exit. You walk past Ram’s voice ( which seemed to come from an hot pocket of air), open the door at the end of the corridor, walk upstair and arrive at the same door which blocked Jetsquirrel. Of course, it is still jammed but at least there is some natural light

go hide(find?) some others, pick up anything of use on the way|Time to go. But before that, you decide to go looking in a nearby crate. It is locked, but you have a massive hand which still has to be tested. You hit strongly and |It explodes! There must have been leftover explosives from the building of the place in that crate. Weakened by age luckily, but still enough to harm you.| You barely have time to shield your face with your hands, when a shockwave hits you| but is too weak to do much more than moving your hair. Concentrate all my mental energy on blowing the door open|Examining the alloy of the steel, it seem to you that the steel of the door can be magnetized . With a bit of control on magnetic fields, you may force it open. Same thing goes for an electrical charge. But despite your efforts, you don’t manage to do anything. Maybe it is time for something more physical?
Kashyyk :I cause the walls to shift and grab hold of C-shyyk, causing the imposter to be immobile |Background roll :5 Despite a general lack of things to see, Ram notices that fuel is evaporating, and vapors are healthy, while Flintus sees some kind of vegetation growing in front of the door.
Coffee-shyyk :Use sleep toxins against Kashyyk|
Again, there are punches flying, and Kashyyk barely holds the ground. C-shyyk prepares for the final blow, he takes a syringe of sleep toxins and throws it at Kashyyk! But Kashyyk rises a mind barrier, the shot is deflected. The rocket powered sleepy chainsaw ( remember, your mind) strikes C-shyyk and injects it! Cage starts to fade as you go back to reality. C-shyyk will sleep as long as there are sleep toxins, and will live as long as there is caffeine.

So unless your super large you not going be able to hold it.
I attempt to utilise my magical abilities to remove the curse on this room.|You call you magic abilities to help you removing the curse away from this room. There is no curse however and you wouldn’t even know how to remove it. Is a curse even possible? You can’t remember. You, however, take a mop and a bucket, and start cleaning the fuel from the floor. After a while, you clean the fuel from the areas near exposed wires and the generator. Nothing as big as a curse, but still useful.

search around for an oversized steel glove|You look around, but for some reason you think there is no oversized steel gauntlet lying around. How could they not think about somebody doubling his hand’s size and then looking for a gauntlet? Dabbling organizers, that is the truth.
Announce that i saw the whole creation of hte universe! and hold the monolith again|You go toward the monolith, to hug it again! Like last time, nothing happens and this time you don’t even manage to imagine anything even remotely big. Just a bunny with 2 fruit juice bottles on the back like a jetpack. After the first 2 minutes spent trying to imagine something, you feel like you put your fingers in a socket and quickly jump backward. The monolith is alive! And seemingly annoyed by your hugs. Or maybe static electricity of some kind that for some reason didn’t hit you last time.
I get up and turn on one of the computers. If it is a laptop I take it with me.| You travel in the now lit corridor, but only find terminals in the walls, nothing even remotely portable. And all powerless. Entering the Vat room seeing that there is another , open, door you go ahead through it and enter a dark room, full of computers and papers. All off of course, since there is no power. You really need that generator.
Investigate the plants and then see if I can use mental powers to make them grow enough to force open the door.

Start generator|Who built this generator? You still can’t find a switch. Whoever thought about such an horrible mess, hopefully lost his job. After a few minutes you decide to take a break, also because Kashyyk entered the room, asking you to help him with your thermal magic. Well, it is not like you have anything better to do so you shape the metal like he asks you. After this little manufacturing you sit on the ground and contemplate the generator.
I find the largest piercing weapon possible|Storage room time! You go back to it and start looking for mabàli harpoons, in the hope that somebody thought about such an event and prepared supplies for it. But mabàli were a long gone threat when all this was built, so no harpoons here. You can, however, find some steel tubes and you get an idea: isn’t there somebody in the team who could use thermal magic? It could be possible to shape them as a spears. You take one and go to generator room where RAM is complain to the generator about its lack of a switch. Frustrated as he is, he gives up and you ask him to heat the top of the steel tube so that it could be made pointy. Being careful to avoid burnng the fuel still on the floor, and using some of the tools in the room, you create a | rough steel spear. Surely it is not the best, but new ones might be easier, now that you have done it once already. You have to drop the depleted flashlight to wield it. While not too long, it is probably going to be used as a 2 handed weapon.
Try to find another exit
act like a sciencetist , and hug that monolith again|Once again, despite the earthquake and the electricity, you must, absolutely MUST know what will happen next. For the first time, something happens in your mind, you can feel an image forming in your mind. It is the monolith, trying to communicate with you!

You can hear fans working somewhere. An artificial voice speaks “ Emergency power restored, all lights, terminals and vats active. Status: front door under attack, 4 vats dead, 6 empty. Main power missing. Switching vats off to safe power.”

use part of a steel rod to make knuckles for your oversized hand|You , after seeing Kashyyk with that steel rod, went to look for another, so that you could get something to wear on your oversized hand. You take a rod, start bending it, then you try to use thermal magic to make the work easier and , later, to weld the whole thing. You, however, lose control of the thing once again and while the hand and the air cool down, metal melts, pouring onto your cold, big hand and covering it completely! You managed to revert the heat exchange before molten steel goes past the wrist but your hand is now covered by a thick crust of steel, which makes it impossible for you to move it. You don’t know what happened to your hand encased in steel.

I practice doing Thermal Magic of my own.| With instructions from RAM you try to use thermal magic, but despite your efforts, you can do nothing. It seen you never bothered to learn it before. You keep trying, but then bad things happen and you are hit by electricity cables, powered! You are shocked but your contracting muscles luckily pull the flying wares away from the open wires in the ground, saving both you and RAM. I use fire magic to call for help|You are paralyzed and can’t move, so you decide to use your powerful fire magic to call for help, when several things go wrong. Namely, you only have thermal magic. And there is fuel on the floor of the room. And you are not in the best shape for efforts of any kind. You call your powers, but lose control of them, freezing the area around you and burning the fuel on the floor, turning the room in a small hell. The generator and the wires, luckily, seem to be protected enough, and the cold air and frozen fuel around you saved your immobile corpse from the flames, but Kashyyk might not be so lucky… You slowly regain control of your limbs and stand up.
Vats room, help open door (bashing with stone arms if needed)
go punch something hard to test it out| Punch, punch, punch. You need to see if your steel hand is good or not, so you decide to punch the wall. Well, actually, since your hand was open when it got covered in steel, you can’t really punch the wall. ( on soft fleshy objects it would work fine however). You can, however, slap it very hard. And it works wonderfully, sending little bits of wall flying, without damage to the metal. With a bit of exercise, it may become a weapon.
TO THE SPHERE ROOM!|You walk to the sphere room. The monolith stares at you silently, smiling in relief. And planning revenge. That , at least, is what it would do if it was alive, which can’t be known. You See, at the center of this room, a big steel sphere, raised by 4 steel pillars. There is a line in the middle, as if it was 2 hemispheres just pushed together. There is strange machinery on the sides, computer near the walls and wires everywhere. The computers are active.
I search for a blow torch or something similar (thermal magic without magic!)| You can’t stand up on your feet, and from the ground you can’t see what is on the shelves, so you have to give up. | You instead try to make coordinated movements again, but you are interrupted by a wall of flame going toward you! You are at the edge of the fuel pool, luckily, so you get only minor burns on the exposed parts of your left side ( face, hand), which should heal soon. The pain , however , convinced your muscles to move again, which is good.
Head back towards the Vats room and look for another exit.| enough mabàli today, time to try to get out alive instead. Since on this side there is nothing, you decide to explore what there is on the other side of vat room. In the corridor, you find Hellhound, who follows you. You both are now in the control room, and you see a very simple map on a monitor, with moving little people, representing you. Funny. Where are cameras?

RTDs and nuclear reactions, what could possibly go wrong...lots.
I try to redirect the fire into the middle of the nuclear power station.| You sit down to focus better on your powers, and try to deviate the heat to the core of the nuclear reactor, which should be able to keep it all. You annihilate your mind and enter the fire, you feel it, you hear it, you taste and smell it, you can grab it. Then you try to move it, you channel the heat in the reactor room, but it is much, too much..| You try to force the heat away, when a cold mass arrive toward you, and you have to jump sideway to avoid it. You can’t keep control of your powers, and the channeled heat is poured onto the cold mass! You see it is covered by flames and, opening your eyes, you discover that it is Kashyyk! You hope that he is still alive, inside the flaming ball.
AI: keep training| In a corner you find a practice doll, and use that to master your new art of fighting. It doesn’t take much for you to swing your hand masterfully. You can now change direction quickly, which will help you greatly during a fight, if enemies try to dodge your attacks.

Like in a dream, you feel a cold heat surrounding you, without harm, and forming a protective shell. You can not explain what it was, nor if it is real or not.

As the fire grows higher, your efforts gets bigger. You try to move the heat around, but all you can do is damaging the ceiling. Flames get higher after your efforts, forcing you to retreat. While fire advances, you have to grab Kashyyk to pull him away “ sorry man, but this will hurt”. Luckily for him while you retreat toward a wall he is unconscious and can’t hear anything, otherwise the pain would have been unbearable. When you can’t move anymore, you understand that you either have to win there, or burn there, the fire doesn’t stop, the heat makes you sweaty and the smoke hinders sight. You call for help, choking for the smoke.

"1... 2... 3... 4... AAAAAAAARGH."|have any of you ever been on fire? Probably not, but it is easy to imagine what it is like. Great pain, hot. But this kind of fire is different, no pain can be felt, you still keep healthy muscles and bones, you can run, speak and the fire will do nothing to your body. But the feeling you have inside you is something that can’t be imagined by those who never felt it; to use more familiar words, it is like if you had a dot, a small dot more black than pure darkness, inside your chest. Of course you can’t see it, so “black” isn’t the correct word, but there is nothing better in our limited dictionary to describe it. You can feel it there, eating little bits of your life, of your soul, growing continuously. And when the darkness finally grow to take your whole body, you will be dead, forever, your soul will never be able to rest in the heavens, with the Gods.

look for more digging equipment|You are looking for some digging equipment in the storage room but while doing so you hit a crate with a shoulder, causing the whole pile to fall on you!| your instinct makes you raise you steel hand to protect the head from the heavy weight falling on you, but the impact is too much for you and you fall on the ground heavily. The steel hand is fine, but the arm isn’t, the elbow is sprained and it hurts. Furthermore, you are blocked by a small mountain of crates and can’t move. Air is not a problem, but you fear a crate could move and fall directly on you, which could be deadly.
First: I use the residual Caffeine in my system to wake up. Again.| Despite your best efforts, you can’t force yourself to think lucidly, your caffeine being suppressed by the sleep toxins. You look at the ceiling however, and see some dancing elves, singing.
Second: With my mind I will find the damage in my ankles and knees, and reknit the bones together, healing them.
I will attempt to upgrade the “fun” device!| you try again to understand what it does and try to find ways to improve it. With a bit of effort, you can find some lenses, power sources and lasers that could be improved, but you are missing the correct materials. The Fun device shoots some sparkles. Maybe it liked what you wanted to do?

use TK to blast boxes of me...| There is only one thing you can think of now: getting rid of these crates above you. You try to push them away with your hands but they are too heavy! As your efforts increase, however, you feel something strange: old memories are coming back to surface again and a force is flowing through your arms, out of your hands. Suddenly, the crates above you are shot quickly into the ceiling, smashing and bouncing off all around you, while the crates around you gets smashed into the ground, creating holes into it. Get as much help as I can and try to open the door look for something to wedge/smash it open if necessary|angered by the way Hellhound discarded you as useless, you decide to use your ultimate card to open the door: the mysterious device you built! You take it out and start shaking it; after a while some panels start to shift, the shape changes and smoke starts going out of the odd device. You, scared, throw it away but surprisingly, it flies! And it flies toward you. You don’t have time to react and you are hit right in the chest, causing shortening your breathe and bending your ribs. Then, it seems to explode, throwing sharp fragments that hit you in several parts of the body, causing minor but painful damage. The fun device is intact in front of you, on the ground. And it looks innocent too! You would almost believe it, if you wasn’t wounded.

I still want to get rid of the arms.
I go to the exit stairs and try to transfer my impending death to some small animal that ran in to escape our impending death from outside.|You rush toward the vat room, followed by Jetsquirrel which then disappears as you keep running toward the exit. On the stairs, you see what you was looking, an animal! A small rat that entered the building hoping to find food and shelter. You focus on the fire inside you, trying to see the magic pocket in which it is locked; then, you create a link between you and the pocket and unleash the fire onto the helpless creature. The fire starts flowing in the tunnel created by you, but the rat is too small, it fills rapidly and is consumed, exploding in a small burst of flames! Witnessing such a horrible death makes you afraid of having to suffer just as much in the end, should the fire not be stopped. At least, you feel that the pressure lowered, it won’t burn as quickly as before. ( roll to increase, instead of steady +1 each turn)
I gotta get rid of these useless arms
Explore|you decide to go exploring after the vat room, since it seem there was a lot of activity in the area. But there is no reason to run like you saw RAM and Jetsquirrel do, so you just walk. But you also try to try your telekinetic power to some objects to train it. A good target seems to be the ceiling before the vat room. A ceiling won’t go flying, so there will be no collateral damage. That is what you think at least, but a physic teacher will say otherwise. For each action , there is an equal and opposite reaction. You focus the energy onto the wall, which as you predicted doesn’t move a bit, but this sends you flying backward! | you are surprised by the outcome of your action and you have no time to react before gravity pulls you down again, crashing on the floor. Luckily you didn’t use much power for your action but the landing was strong enough to stun you. You get up with rather bad feelings about physics.
Make a genius plan that will knock out the mabàli and find the stuff needed for it|you see RAM running toward the exit and decide to follow him, then a good plan would just come to your mind after you meet some mabàli. But after exiting Vat room you see a faint voice calling for help from the generator room and you enter to investigate. You see Kashyyk on the ground and, near him, the device that will be used for your genius plan! A mabàli harpoon! Not enough to kill a mabàli of course, but enough to stun him. You tell Kashyyk to relax, that it is all ok, then grab the harpoon and run away. “ it will call for help later”. You hear rather bad words being shouted at you while you run away. You arrive at the exit, then stop to take a look outside. The door is severely damaged. Nearly pushed out of the frame, the concrete around it cracked.
I lie back and concentrate on the pain in my legs, and focus on their source. I will then block the pain receptors at this area.|The pain is way too much for you to do any effort to block your nervous system- in fact, it is too much to even think of it, the wounds became more painful and you fear it is only going to get worse. You desperately call for help, and finally somebody arrives: it is Jetsquirrel who comes closer, looks at your wound and says “it is all ok, relax”; then he takes your mabàli harpoon and runs away “I’ll call for help after I finish using this”. While he is running away, you gather all your lung strength and shout : “F*** you!! I need help NOW not robbery!”
block out the pain for now and see if there is anything in this room I can dress my wounds with.|before the pain has time to be truly felt, you start tending your wounds. You take strips of cloth from your clothes and sue them to bandage the several cuts you have all across the body, which should help them to heal better. There is nothing you can do, however, about your chest and the damaged ribs you have. Just as you finish, you start feeling all the pain from the small cuts, which makes every move uncomfortable; furthermore you have troubles breathing and moving your chest hurts, A LOT. Maybe you shouldn’t have used arms so much.

I help RAM heal me.|Ram enters the room and speaks to you “don’t worry, I didn’t forget your injuries. I am here to heal you.” “ Thanks you. I thought you all would abandon me here forever.”, you whisper. You would like to help him in his efforts, but you are way too tired, incapable of moving and full of pain to do much more than saying “Thanks” and trying to avoid shouting too much. He does something to your legs, then pains starts to fade. With a weak voice you say “ Did you heal me? I feel much better. “ It is just pain killers, don’t move.” He then goes to take you a pillow for your head, then leaves promising to go back to helping you later.
I attempt to treat Kashyyk' wounds.|While Jetsquirrel works on his “genius” plan you remember that Kashyyk is probably still standing in the generator room, heavily wounded; you have healing equipment on you so you must go back and help him. Entering, you are welcomed by a weak, but thankful Kashyyk, lying on the ground. You start examining him but the damage is internal, there is little you could do except giving him some pain killers. At least, with standard means… you put your hands over his joints and try to channel energy in them, not destructive energy of fire but rather an healing energy. Surprisingly, you can see an exterior force flowing into your body and then into Kashyyk joint, cells start to heal, bones come closer, liquid is drained… but your internal fire doesn’t allow the contact to stay long enough to completely heal the injuries; In fact, to the naked eye not much has changed. After trying magic, you apply pain killer and then take Kashyyk a pillow from the bedroom. You would move it there, but you can’t easily carry him alone and you fear doing so would damage his joints much more.
hmmm learn to control an atom's nuclei|If your telekinesis works on macroscopic objects, such as the crates you moved earlier, then why not apply it to objects much, much smaller? Control of atomic nuclei will allow you to make many useful tricks, for example! You tru to focus your telekinesis , but you find it very difficult to even find something so small, much less manipulate it in any way. You don’t achieve much with your efforts.
Call out for the guy with the fire AND KNOCK OUT THAT MABALI!. After that tell the dude to concentrate his powers at the mabali.|Not seeing that RAM went back into the building, you decide to throw your harpoon toward the mabàli, hoping to injure him or at least to give RAM time to do his magic. You take it in your hands, go back as much as you can, then you start running and with unusual strength you throw it! But it seems way heavier than it should be… wait, is it Hellhound the one who is flying on the harpoon? How did he get there? Due to the extra weight and air resistance the harpoon can do little more than falling on the ground not far from the mabàli. Hellhound seems to land well, then he quickly shoots the mabàli with the needlegun before running back to the safety of the building. The animal is angered by the attack and is calling the herd.
I'll follow Jetsquirrel and pull him out of trouble if when his plan fails.
Continue working to heal myself.| Seeing your success with the cuts you decide to try your luck with the ribs. There is little you can do with bandages for your ribs, but you can always try magic. In fact, that is what you are going to do. You try to focus on the ribs, healing them… you feel something, like ribs snapping back together, but you can’t make much of it… they still hurt when you try to move. Better than before though. Resting will have to be enough.

The mabàli is nervous, but not yet attacking. You try to create a magic tunnel between you, but the animal is still too strong, too far; you can’t do anything yet.
Ask the golem to help me or atleast thing up a plan and do that! if he doesnt cooperate try to knock out that mabali again without killing other people|” plan? I always have a plan for everything. These animals charge. If they charge on a wall they get stunned! Watch a master of mabàli hunt at work!”
I attempt to improve my needlegun, taking apart my flashlight and the flashlights on the floor of the Vat Room and using their parts for the job.
try again!|The secret of success is to keep trying, and so you do. You finally understand that you was doing it in the wrong way, your ordinary telekinesis works for things made of atoms, but at nuclei’s levels physics are different. There are different forces that control the nucleus, mainly electromagnetic and strong nuclear force. One try to destroy the nucleus, the other keeps it together, in a fine balance of power. A fine balance of power that can be broken than anyone who is proficient enough in magic. And so you try, you split some nuclei and merge other, but soon you become tired, and you haven’t even created anything more than a very faint glow for a fraction of second… or was it just your imagination? Such a fine and advanced manipulation, with so great forces involved, needs powers far bigger than what a person has.

my Stunned effect wore off a while back are you going to remove it??
I try the 'get the mabàli to charge the wall' plan, but try to use fire magic to pruduce a flash of light bright enough to temporarily blind it before it gets close enough to gore me.| After telling Jetsquirrel to stay back and watch how the “mabàli on the wall” trick has to be done, you go out, attract its attention and then use magic to create a flash in the air, blinding the mabàli enough to allow you to escape , leaving only air between the mabàli and the wall. After the inevitable crash, while the mabàli is stunned, on the ground, you climb on its back and put your hand on its head. Then, you free yourself of the burden of the pocket of magic that is eating you alive.
I help that plan again!| RAM pushes you aside, then you watch he stunning and probably killing the mabàli. You are amazed.

Try again to open the door that was causing me so much trouble| After Diakron arrives to help you, the doors starts moving. Soon, it is open and you can finally look inside. This room is not like any other room in the building, it is much, much bigger, so much that you can’t see the other end of it, it is the only room to have pillars for support. As far as the eye can see , the room is full of stacked electronic devices, dividing it in huge corridors. Each block seem to have a base of 2x17 devices, 20 machines high. Each of these things, computers maybe, are cuboids, longer than they are wide or high. They are in sturdy metal casings and seem to be bolted together. A voice calling you brings your eyes back to floor level; in front of you there is a person looking exactly like you. It is standing on some strange machinery. Walking closer to him, you see that he is an hologram.

I will attempt to improve the power of my flashlight and recharge it if possible
DETACH the fuel tanks of my body and find a wrench|It is not easy to work on the tanks you got on your body, the knots are tight * and you can’t even reach some of them. After loosening* all the knots you could reach you decide to go to the garage with the vehicle and find a tool. You grab a wrench and start using it as a level to get the tanks off of you. Unluckily, the tanks detach very quickly and one of them is sent flying toward your feet. |You have no time to move your feet away | but luckily, despite the weight of the tank it didn’t even hurt much. Unluckily, the plug of the tank was broken after the impact with the ground and now the tank is pouring all its contents on the floor
Kashyyk: Search our hover car thing for anything usefulFlintus starts searching the memory banks room for useful things when he is called by Kashyyk, standing near the door to the garage: “the computers are all the same. Come here and let’s look at the vehicle instead”. Quickly followed by an interested Diakron , he enters the room ,just in time to hear Kashyyk’s warning: “ careful to the gasoline”.
Flintus: See if there is anything else of use in this room before heading out to look for the car
Diakron: AI- help Flintus looking for useful items
Recharge flashlight, call shotgun.|Hearing Kashyyk call, you enter the garage, to find Flintus sitting on the ground holding his head and Diakron lying in a pile of mechanical tools. “ what happened here?” after looking at them quickly, you can see that there is no big wound, so you try to practice with healing magic “ this should be small enough for me to handle”. You mentally explore the injured areas and fix microfractures and small bruises. When you finish, no sign of the injury is left. You are getting better at it. Some more practice and you could call yourself a medic.

Hellhound’s mind probes again the arms, finding nerves and destroying the unneeded ones painlessly. Then, the true work begins. A thin layer of skin starts to break around the old arm.

The minds of both focus the magic , breaking, burning and cauterizing , till the old arms are finale separated from the bone and muscle.
