In Spoilers is another tribe for Orbiter game.

It is a SG with Arms Race elements with more complex strategies. In that resources/people are actually finite. Sign up here if you want to join this team. Can have alliance with one other tribe too.

Please note after some (if) activity in signing up. I am rolling for Armory bonus to see what sweet toys your team starts with that is extra.

Besides the resources in Hub thread. Will do what is left in the armor.

1: Six fully armed Smart Rifles
2: Three bazokas
3:  Five Energy Blades
4:  10 Ceramic Armor sets.
5: 3 Apcs
6: One Jotun Armor.

All troopers can equip one weapon and one armor. Along with two spare things.

Note that the APCs do not get invisible effect from Explorer No for Jotun Armor either.

Just a warning though: This stuff is finite like in xcom Arms race. If your vehicles or Jotun armor destroyed? They are gone forever as scrap metal. If damaged can fix. Ifvwant total rebuilding suggesting engineering. Heck I am going to go to Hub thread. For what stats mean.

Intro

It was a new day, the top dome of the mother ship was see through. So one could see the Sun, it was orange and huge. As below there was a large, healthy world. The ancestors had reached this world. But something denied them access. It lead to fear, then to angry. Then to suffering. Years passed and the lore was lost. As nature toook over the machinery as it was much more savage now.

It was a new day. As the Armory doors opened, they all see what was left of their ancestors legacy. It was plenty, but much empty space. A tell that met there was much more in the beginning. As the ancestors were met to keep law and subdue any hostile natives on world Below.


Time for SG

A: Improve a clan stat (pick which one to work on and die roll for boost charge.)
B: Train one of your followers to be leader so now have two.
C: Arrange your 600 to go out to explore. And pick direction. As though. Surrounded by thick nature. There were not hull borders. Meaning your out in the open.
D: Build wallls/gate. As means to secure said perimeter.

It was a modest wall. Good build, with stations for people to be on look out, not the tallest structure around though, the gate needs a crew to move, and some tiny parts are exposed. Though tiny. So some things could be fired into perimeter or pushed in. If some guards said points. Still no surprises



This made your people feel safe.

The whole party of six hundred, armed to the teeth with what they had, went East. They found  a small group of travelers who were trying to stay alive. Running low on food and water. Frighten by the display of so many people. Yet a girl among them spoke up. Addressing them.


“ Who are you? And where did you get your weapons? We got nothing. So it would not be much of a fight.”

A: Adopt then into your culture for people boost. Though need more food as result.
B: Leave them in peace, as they want to be left alone (religion says otherwise.)

(No brained I know. Just the roll of the draw.)

After choice, pick your Arms race thing.

Now got new people (100 worth) and their job is working the farm for keep and so the “real” clan can do other activities.

Stealth Car:

5,5,2. It worked but as for bonus two points to add on. Two to four?

Then a 4. For 5,5,4

“ The newest vehicle introduced to use is the Strider. A small vehicle that can fit two people. What makes the Strider note worthy is the Engine is relative low hum, wheels depending on terrain make smaller noise than the bulky apcs.

Like the APCs though it needs fuel. (Current models have two turns worth of fuel. They are powered by oil resource. Incase wondering.)

The Engine of the Strider can accept oil in theory as it is a combustion engine. But can accept wood and even coal. For true electric motor that no gas is needed. 1 Power Cell or 5 Batteries in place to make the difference. Though note due to stealth aspect of car, it’s frame is lightly constructed. Meaning even small arms fire can destroy the If hits the hood.

Well done Leader Potatoe.

Due to 5 in price.

Start with 3 units of this.

As for vehicle range. It can go to locations that would take one to two day walking travel pretty quickly, to add to time to do thing.

Sending out the stealth cars. Which travel four times faster than a average in foot party.

As one goes through the I know, the stealth cars. Which made virtual no noise game to a scene.

A party of five persons all wearing technological eyepatches. Your six man team stops, they halt as for some reason can detect you. Not for noise but seeing the heat generated in the hood.

As for tondo Arms race anyway.

But crafting machine gun:

Costs a action and five scrap metal and one spare part pre gun. (As crafting uses resources. Yet it’s how you get stuff aside taking or trading. Hell the stealth cars are literally bamboo tech as mostly wood and spare parts for engine and handling.)

As for Arms race

The Assault Gun:
1,6,3+= 3,6,3

Well we got tired of cumbersome, two handed machine guns so went the roots of a single handed machine pistol/gun. Much like ingrams or uzi of old world times.   It is a one handed gun that can fire single, semi auto or full auto. The issue is we thought we could bear the heat with air holes. All it does is case stuff like dust and dirt to enter the gun and jam it.
Halting its effectiness at killing things. However the good news is design is so simple, it is dirt cheap to build.

The day was good as early in the morning, those funny dresses guys you made friends with face up three units of oil for you to use for your rides. In turn gave blue prints for Strider stealth cars. The Coaltion and your number are doing just fine. Now, business to attend to.

C: Go south to see your new friends. If there.
D: Go north east
E: Work on your base, boosting one of clan stats.
F: Get a officer to extend chain of command

Gun Slinger: Bonus in range combat
Gladiator: bonus in melee combat
Transhuman: being a bad ass artificial super human
Explorer: Get even more of bonus in explore/searc
Doctor: People not likely to die if around.
Scholar: Not a clan bonus but now scout team bonus dealing with tech.
Family Man: The Officer comes with another Officer. (Max is four.)

As for east.

: One Strider carbwent eaat. Covering lots of ground. Running into a smashed Strider car and lots of animal footbprints. It happened to those funny people youngitbthe gas from apparently. Going further east as for refiluel in trunk. Not yet used, soon near a abandoned complex and in the distance. A massive black wall in horizon. Not seeing what’s on it. Just a outline, as complex may have goodies.

Explore: Got a 15.

Found plenty of food (30 vegetables, 10 meat, 50 fruits and even 60 bags of rice.)

Found also

6 chitin armor
4 slug pistols
1 harpoon cannon

Crafting:
5 spare parts
10 computer chips

Officer:

Roll ten. Made a gladiator ring for practice and people can watch for entertainment. Nothing life or death though. (14 Combat now. As it was 12 now plus two.)

Turrets: Get to pick bullet or laser based. Two ports at perimeter (bonus in defense. Type of gun depends on ammo or battery)

Building car roll: 7 out of ten ( three car units now. Still two person vehicle with back seat for gear and trunk for cargo. I believe five cars all together.)

Alright the turrets are bullet based, no long recharge or heating issues but instead need the ammo resource to keep firing. (Have 300 so far.)

One officer can do one more thing for seventh act. Then Arms race.

The Challenger

Always one for mobility Our people now taken to the sky. As it has the least amount of things in the way. Sadly it is very visible. But very swift. It is a one person deal, that carries minimal ordinance. It’s also very fragile.  But will Get you where you need to go.  The super debug is that the Engine is a ancient design, akin to ancients. Very unstable, but burns up anything as fuel. So no need for the Coalition and their oil. Still it requires twelve scrap metal. Five spare parts, and computer chips (six) for console.

It’s very basics junk tech aero plane.

Due to limited amount made one. Just one so far.

1 Challenger.

Due to conditions a faction has made. The ship was waging war, on the people?! From the north on down is a tide of machine monsters heading your bases way.

Use weapons from Armory? (Recommended.)

War of attrition with wall and turrets?

Use the Aero plane to try to distract the Horde west of east?

To push things along.


It was ultimately decided to wait for enemy horde to get close and let it all blast out. As turrets blast machines apart the base gates open. Smart rifle men fire their energy grenade charges. Blowing up and scattering the mecha invaders. As the Jotun Armor was released.


15 foot tall broad and powerful power armor goes to town and wrecks the remaining dozen machines. Did not even need weapon systems as fists and feet were enough.


360 scrap metal
12 spare parts
30 computer chips
One power cell.

Now cost is clear. For now.

What are your orders?

Within the course of up to five days traveling south. Reach Glasses location. A rather large settlement that has two treasure wonders and a road in between them.

Notable thing is they apparently killed a lot of robots by themselves. Must have useful guns as one can see the heap of their battle rewards.

And south for two more (7) you see the border of sector nine. Beyond that, space itself. Dead end.

Though one could note a troop of dire apes were there. Maybe tell Glass/Leiden about it? The apes are peaceful plant eaters. But are strong.

With that plane goes into emergency reserve, makes it back to home base. No wrecks.

Recommendations: Your off to a good start as you have the most vehicles.

Can very easily explore the hell out of the game.

With that officer or no? Because if no. Arms Race. If got a officer they can do up to three things (max is 7.) And with that Arms Race again.

Stealth suits: 3,6,4

The Hades Night Walker system. As the name states. It is based off a old Earth legend that the God of Death walks invisible among mortal men, unseen and takes them when their number is up.

The suit is powered though. So needs two batteries. But the effect? It is not armor that can withstand too powerful a strike or simple gun fire. But it absorbs all heat signatures and is easy to move into. It even stops production of sound. Though if moving can still be seen, akin to predator from movie though (weird bending person outline thing.)

Aside that it does bend light to a degree for predator cloak effect.

But you wanted stealth suits. Here you go. Also it splinters off electric signals of suit unless it’s damaged. Otherwise it works.

Due to 6 in availability/price. Start with forty units (individual, Not groups of ten. All armor suits what not with battery is individual.)

Okay then. Just need to check on others.

Yeah there are like 4-6 npcs generates now. Two on sector 9. Rest in other sections. Stopping the generation process. Plenty of people, for Roleplay/combat/etc.

The Clan’s split up to four and go.

East/South: Apparently Beast Lords And Coaltion are teaming up and a sort of deal going on.

North: Gigantic freakken Wall.


West: Planes made it to plains. There are people there with animals and a massive hole in the black wall for people to real to. Interesting.
