ACTACTACT
AUCTION
SPOKANE bids $90 for the Krupp Allen Family
SPOKANE bids on the following contracts:

Quote from: Occassio Secret Service #35
Offered: Seagull Secret Service Special M21
The Seagull Special is easily concealable, and has the reliability you need when it counts.
Quote from: Paupertas Irregular Units Command #49
Offered: Cuckoo Repeater M25*-FK
The Cuckoo is one of the lightest rifles on the market, and the intermediate rifle round it fires still has plenty of punch and range. Even better, the M25* model is select-fire for potential usage doubling as a submachine gun.
Quote from: Socialas Assault Teams #50
Offered: Woodpecker M28
In the world of automatic weapons, it’s impossible to beat the Woodpecker at being compact. With the stock attached, it’s capable of fully-automatic fire, allowing it to serve the same role as its larger and more ungainly SMG cousins.
Quote from: Singula Army Forces #51
Offered: Buzzard M18
The Buzzard is a venerable design, but there is still no better substitute for sending a swarm of large-caliber bullets downrange.
Quote from: Unknown Buyer #52
Offered: Vulture M24
Have you ever seen a rifle using direct impingement with a reciprocating barrel? How about one firing 13.5mm anti-tank rounds? Or better yet, a gun with a hand-crank? No? Well, the Vulture speaks for itself.

In the third stage of SPOKANE’s brand harmonization, the model numbers of guns have also been changed into a unified format. The Woodpecker becomes the Woodpecker M28, the Vulture-N1 becomes the Vulture M24, and the Buzzard-L becomes the Buzzard M18-L.

As agreed last turn, SPOKANE loans $100 to Aywen Industries.

More Seagull revolvers and matching ammunition are sold to the Civilian Market.

-Bid beat, see below for more-
SPOKANE is putting in a bid for $80 for the Krupp Allen Family.

Yaknow, I really think we should do the bidding elsewhere, if only to save on bloat. Also, I thought bidding had to be in multiples of five?

Quote from: SPOKANE Merger Agreement
Effective immediately upon the signing of this contract, the three companies Sandblaster Inc., NOPE LLC., and Korsgaard Armoury (henceforth the Constituent Companies) agree to merge all assets into one company, SPOKANE Corp. (Sandblaster, Poels, Omloop, Korsgaard, and Neefs Engineering), henceforth the Merged Company.

The Merged Company is to be treated as the legal successor of all Constituent Companies, and is bound by any and all contracts or other obligations the Constituent Companies have. All contracts currently in force with any of the Constituent Companies are now treated as being with the Merged Company. The Merged Company automatically has the rights to all property, including weapon designs and production equipment, owned by the Constituent Companies.

The Merged Company will be controlled by a board comprised of the CEOs of the Constituent Companies. Any of the Board Members may undertake action on behalf of the Merged Company provided that general consensus among the Borad Members exists in favour of that action. If no such consensus exists, then a majority vote in favour of the action is required.

Signed:
  • Vibeke Korsgaard, former CEO of Korsgaard Armoury
  • David Omloop on behalf of the board of NOPE LLC

You still offering space in the ammo presses? If yes, how much you want? Is $8 for one unit fine with you?

Sorry this is so close to the wire, I was zoned out on vacation(still am, for that matter) and waiting on merger talks...

NOPE LLC manufactures three units of M5 repeaters. NOPE LLC manufactures and stores two units of 7.65x40mm NOPE LR. NOPE LLC sells three stored units of M20** repeaters for cashflow. NOPE LLC converts all its stored M20** repeaters to M25 standard.
Someone from NOPE LLC's finance department is quietly fired.

The M25 gets a face-lift like the old M20** did.  The heat shield is simplified, the bayonet fixtures are removed, the rifling is reduced to three spirals, and some of the contouring is ignored during manufacturing.  The newer gun is blockier and heavier and far less pretty, but anywhere a corner can be cut, a cut is made.

(Also, looking through your armory I'm not sure what the difference between an M25 and an M20** is any more).
Wait, where did the bayonet lug go? Why did the bayonet lug go? Wouldn't ditching the bayonet be a second revision anyways? Can I have the bayonet lug back please?
As for difference between the M20** and the M25*, the M25* is select-fire(and currently lacks a bayonet for some reason)

Offering: NOPE Repeater M20**
Want a light, handy weapon with high magazine capacity, high accuracy, and high rate of fire? Look no further than the NOPE Repeater M20**! Sure, its not select-fire, but it has a longer range than most of those gangster guns, just as much ammunition on tap(in a more convenient form factor than many to boot), and has a bayonet!
Quote from: Ditissimus Unification Advocates #39
Offering: NOPE Repeater M25
You want a modern weapon with accuracy and stopping power? Look no further than the M25! As accurate as any other light rifle, with the stopping power of hitting the same targets repeatedly in short order, and still retains the bayonet so many others seem to forget is still an integral part of military rifle requirements(particularly for roles where actually shooting may not be desired, such as most of what military police get up to)

NOPE LLC manufactures a unit of M20** rifles. NOPE LLC manufactures and sells two units of 7.65x40mm NOPE LR. NOPE LLC sells off its three units of M20* rifles.

Player Contract Offerings:
Yeah, who wants to subcontract work for me? I can offer profits of $12 for the NOPE M20**(spend $17, get $29) and $4 for ammo, payment on turn of delivery. Larger orders may offer higher rates of profits, DM me in discord with proposals fer them.

NOPE LLC would be overjoyed to fulfill this clearly tailor-made bid that clearly had nothing at all to do with recent events at Mariti Naval Headquarters or any that may or may not have occurred within the Mariti branch office of NOPE LLC. Nope, nothing going on at NOPE in that respect, nosiree...

So, before rambling on about possible mistakes: Hurruh! Game has returned! Thank you very much and merry xmas and other seasonal holidays of the users choosing!

And now, on to the rambling about possible mistakes. I only just noticed this section from two turns back:
Winter, 1923.  Design Phase.
The NOPE Repeater... ...Unfortunately, the 15-round magazine requires stripper clips to reload...
I was under the impression that the revision results listed below made them detachable and, well, I was advised to make a comment here about possible mistakes, so... sorry about catching this late? Bothering one at all about this? Whichever makes the most sense, I don't know.
