One thousand years after the second Fall of the Mushroom Kingdom, its original heroes and stories have become mere legend. Life is peaceful and prosperous in the residential district of Toad Town. Today is 'Shroom 1, 1000 A.F., and the legends of old say that one of the Power Stars - magic objects with the ability to make your wishes come true - will land tonight on the roof of the grandest building in all the land: Princess Peach's castle.

True or not, Peach just loves to throw parties, and she's invited Mario and Luigi, the two most competent plumbers in the country. She might have even baked them a cake. But, of course, this is not their story.

No, it's your story. You are part of the Princess' specialized security detail. High-ranking military officers, if you will. The word on the street is that nefarious King Koopa, Bowser, believes in the legend of the falling Power Star, and may attempt to storm Peach's castle to steal it. Even if the legend is bogus, you've got to keep watch at the party. After all, the events tonight could be the start of your... Second Story.

Just under an hour before midnight...

It's a quiet night in Princess Peach's castle. Many of the invited guests did not show up, and the Princess herself has yet to make an appearance. Perhaps Toad Town's residents were fearful of another Koopa Troop invasion. Whatever the reason, the guests who came and stayed have finished dancing and toasting. Idle chatter and rumors of the falling Power Star now fill the room.

Standing around at their posts in a corner, the Royal Guard awaits the Princess' entrance so they may get on with their job and protect her to the best of their abilities. A door opens, and they all turn toward the raised platform leading to a private section of the castle. However, instead of the Princess, a Toad with a yellow-brown theme and spectacles above his fine white 'stache walks out. He approaches the Guard and begins to speak as the guests back away, aware of his rank.

The refined Toad touches his spectacles then looks down at a sheet of paper. Finally, he looks back up and addresses the Royal Guard members.

Toadsworth studies each of the warriors as he speaks, eyeing their weapons and armor for an uncomfortably long time.

Toadsworth almost heads back up the stairs, but stops and turns around.

Teressa snapped to attention as soon as the commander had spoke and still hadn't relaxed, eyes constantly darting around the room to look for danger. When they were asked a question, she glared at the others for a moment for acting so casually to their commander while on the job and replied curtly.

Anyway, I personally have acquired a certain subset of skills that make me a prodigy in applied explosgioneering." She said, making up a word on the spot. "...well, I still need to work on my Boo-Bomb design to make it 'humane' under Mushroom Kingdom ordinance laws, and that might take some time."

The Toad guests scatter, hopping out windows and falling down stairways to escape. It looks like Toadsworth wasn't kidding about working closely with the Royal Guard tonight.

She figures going up those stairs might be painful-why not wait for them to come down?

Action: Wait for battle cry. Then Boothany floats 3E, and hides her face.

Ochita, noticing an opportunity, runs up toward Kammy and chants a quick sequence of words. Moisture from the air condenses into a bubbling, swirling sphere of liquid between her hands. With a quick step forward, she hurls the sphere at Kammy, drenching her in water.

Everyone moves into position. Inezach and Boothany wait for Teressa to rally them into battle, but Teressa moves away, so they do too. Inezach, now on the stairs opposite Ochita, charges up his next move.

Koopa Troop Goomba D hops over to the stairs at 8,5 and leaps into the air, crashing down onto Inezach.

The Goomba Mage moves forbattled a little, targeting Inezach from afar. Said mage chants a quick phrase and a dark sphere materializes in front of him, idles for a moment then flies into the air, past Goomba D and onto the poor Yoshi.

Inezach steps back, charges forward, and kicks Goomba D with all his might. The shroom-creature flies into a nearby wall with enough force to flatten him entirely.

EDIT: calc'd heroic hit incorrectly, it's supposed to be multiplied last
EDIT2: Wait but that doesn't make any sense why would the enemies' defenses be multiplied? Reverting back to previous formula.

Hand still in pocket, Vilhelmas rushes up the stairs, around Inezach, moving to 8,5 and swinging his mace, he attacks the Goomba Mage.

Vilhelmas rushes up around Inezach, taking him by surprise. A slight spark is released from the warrior's heavy mace as it crashes down onto the Goomba Mage.

Aggressive for her anyway, it included alot of ducking and covering her face.

Action: Conditional/IF Goomba Mage is slain by our Snift Sniper Tanky, move 6 north and Slash Goomc
IF Goomba Mage still lives after that, move 4 north, 1 east, 1 North and Slash Goomba Mage.

Go after Tanky but before Tere.

"Ya think ya can take me with your lil' Snifit bullets? I got the Void on my side! Just try!"

Tanky runs up in front of Inezach and inhales. He's knocked back by the force of an exhaled bullet flying toward the Goomba Mage. A quick flash of dark purple appears around the Goomba Mage, and Tanky's iron ball is deflected, bouncing off through one of the windows already broke by escaping Toads.

IF Goomba Mage still lives after that, move 4 north, 1 east, 1 North and Slash Goomba Mage.

Bethany, noticing the Goomba Mage is still an imminent threat to her friends, moves past her allies and flies over the wall to the raised area, ending up beside the shroom magi. She pulls out her foggy Booblades and starts a slashing assault. One blade strike is enough to rend the Goomba Mage in two. After the gruesome attack, the Goomba Mage disappears into the Void with a "pop!"

Finally, seeing an opportunity, Teressa moves up beside Kammy and swings her large blade, surprising the Magikoopa commander with her ferocity. Kammy falls off her broomstick and lands on the floor, dazed by the assault.

Commander Toadsworth raises his Royal Rapier and steps back. A glimmer of light flashes from the tip of the Toad's blade. Toadsworth chuckles and dashes toward Goomba B, puncturing him with a flurry of vicious, lightning-fast blows. The Goomba falls backwards and explodes in a puff of smoke.

Kammy builds up a Void Sphere, but even she looks amazed by the size of the dark orb. The spell quickly grows out of control, flying toward Teressa and out of Kammy's hands. An enormous rumble shakes the castle as Teressa is blasted by an explosion of pure darkness. The warrior-girl falls back onto her own armor with a *clang*. Afterward, Kammy dodges away toward the leftmost window.

Meanwhile, the remaining Goombas move to block the Guard's slow advance. Both of them pile onto Boothany in an attempt to prevent her further advance. One misses the Boo and falls on its face. The other strikes her, but the attack mostly glances off.

Bethany Boo, still in position next to Goombas A and C, makes two ghastly swipes with her Booblades aimed at the topmost Goomba. Her second strike sends Goomba A ricocheting off the wall and flying through the rightmost window.

She took a step back, The legendary heroes of the mushroom kingdom, and the Almost legendary villain, who's captured peach. This is not looking good.. She shook off her fears, and shouted, her voice tinted heavily with hesitation and fear.

To her mind, things were both plain and simple: Her path was clear, her will was strong and her sword was sharp and ready. In reply to the infamous criminal, she replied by opening with a guards(wo)man classic:

The plumber-in-red jumps back and charges up a fireball. The flame grows stronger and stronger as he focuses, but Bowser does nothing to interfere, merely closing his eyes and moving his mouth in silence. Just as Mario prepares to throw the flame, however, something historical takes place.

Bowser looks at the Royal Guard and makes a "come" gesture with his hand.

He laughs. It's the single most sinister laugh some of the Guard have ever heard.

He pulls his right hand finally out of his pocket here, revealing that it's covered in burn scars, up to and possibly past the fore-arm, though his sleeve ends at lower wrist. He puts this hand on his mace.
"I've had experience with fire. It doesn't scare me. ...And since I'm doomed to live a short and meaningless life anyway, you know, I'd rather die without horrible guilt pestering me for every minute."

I mean, Bowser had just defeated Mario and Luigi!

And offered them jobs-likely at vastly reduced wages and fringe benefits! OH NO.

Teressa, instead of being scared, was instead quite furious. She never really wanted to rely on two plumbers, of all things, to fix the kingdom's problems all the time. That was just the policy that came with being part of the guard and with living in the kingdom, and it irked her to no end, especially when said plumbers were ultimately useless.

But what REALLY made her mad, was that she was currently torn 3 ways between glory, profit and duty. The merc in her blood told her that this was a possibly great offer, but the hero and trained guard parts of her crushed it away quickly, and in the indecision she reverted back to doing the most important thing to do right now... Her job.

As she promtly scooped the commander under an arm and quickly dragged him away with Zach, she muttered quietly to her superior.

The group decides on a tactical retreat. Inezach and Teressa help carry Toadsworth as they bolt down the stairs. Bowser, with the Shimmering Star still hovering over his head, merely crosses his arms and chuckles.

Bowser looks off behind the castle and shouts.

Back in the main hall of the castle, Toadsworth comes to. The rest of the Guard continues toward the next flight of stairs.

The floor under the Royal Guards begins to rumble, and they stop in their tracks for a moment, thrown off balance. Glass breaks, tables slide and dishware falls to the floor, making an overwhelming clattering noise. The sky outside also begins to look a little... darker.

Teressa deadpanned at her commander's statement, not liking the idea of an adventure at all when they needed to come up with a way to save the princess without those stupid plumbers. Shooting off randomly into the night did not sound like an appealing idea.

Ochita groaned, as she came too. Looking around herself, eyes still blurry and with a pounding headache, she realises that Boothany isn't with her. After a quick look of the area around her however, she saw boothany waking up, and so she breathed a sigh of relief, and shuffled backwards until she was leaning against the tree, waiting for her headache to end.

As the swirly images faded from Boothanys eyes, she looked around, glad everyone was still in mostly one piece and not in smithereens, especially Ochi-who seemed remarkably springy and unhurt. That wouldn't have been very good start to the adventure, being blown to bits before the title screen even came up, nope not at all..

Boothany was calmer now that her fears were momentarily surceased. She had shot herself out of a cannon, after all...and lived to freak out about it! What other Boo could say that? She felt her slow kindled courage returning-and while she not quite possess a spine of steel, she did keep her non-existent chin up, allowing a bit of pride at her (admittedly minor) accomplishments to be felt. Which was all generally considered unboolike behavior, but she had a strong role model...

Which is to say, she was still afraid of everything, but that fear did not move her to inaction. An important difference.

After some groaning, Teressa manages to open her eyes and slowly sit up. Thankfully, despite getting hit with an overpowered spell and getting shot out of a cannon, she felt fine. Which is to say, very unhappy with the situation.

From what I understand, there's almost always something like hundred and twenty of them in the world, very rare. Or was it one-hundred fifty one...

Anyway, they are scattered all around the lands-some so far underground, or so high in the ground you can't get them. Others only exists in certain times and certain places, never to appear exactly there again. Those tricky Stars all like to hide, so only something worthy can find them, I think. But the longer we search, the more powerful Bowsers forces become! And...he might find some extra stars himself!

Personally, I've only even seen one other star in my life-before Bowser, anyway. And that ones in the belly of a giant fish right now! Aside from getting ourselves eaten, how could we get that...?

The group takes a leisurely jaunt through the village. Crazee Dayzees hop, skip and run throughout the gentle afternoon breeze, slowing down and staring at the Royal Guard passing through. Smoke puffs out from the rooftop chimney on a dull grey house behind some trees. The group decides, as this is the southwestmost section of the village, the building must be the Council.

The house's door slowly creaks open as a grey-petaled Dayzee feels his way out onto the porch with a cane in hand. He stops after a few steps, turns to the group and addresses them. His voice is low and gritty.

The Dayzee takes a few more steps toward the end of his porch.

The embassy was abandoned - I can't quite remember why - and, eventually, a Big Boo we call the 'Boggly Boo' took over. All the supplies and equipment should still be there, but I can't guarantee the safety of anyone who enters."

In was night time in the castle. Of course, it was always night time in the castle in a manner of speaking, but it was actually night time right then because the moon was up outside. Bethany Boo followed behind her adventurous friend, a little frightened by the blurry light at the end of the hall.

There aren't item blocks in the farm - instead, there's patches of Honey Mushrooms and Fire Flowers you can search through for a quick boost. Be careful, though: Fuzzies aren't very strong, but they get better at attacking when they surround you, so don't let them do that! They can also drain your health. It shouldn't be much of a concern, though~"

Leaf E. points Inezach and the rest of the group south to a fortified wooden gate. Once there, the gate's guards nod and open it up, allowing them to pass onto a long, bridge-like land mass over the water. By now, the morning sun is rising high into the sky, and large groups of Goonies pass over the group far above, cawwing and flying in a V formation. Their cawws are drowned out by the rushing of water far below onto the rock cliff base currently holding up Pink Petal Village.

After an eight- or nine-minute hike across the natural bridge formation, the group comes to another series of wooden gates. However, these ones are unguarded. In fact, there doesn't seem to a be a single Crazee Dayzee out here. They slowly work their way through, avoiding splinters as they push each old log to the side. As the group approaches the farm, they see branches covered in pink petals blowing in the wind, casting shadows on the still-tilled fields below.

For a moment, all seems calm. However, Vilhelmas notices, from the back of the group, that one of the trees is rustling quite a bit more than the others. Before he even has a chance to speak, a black, fuzzy creature with crazy eyes drops out of the tree.

Vilhelmas charges full speed ahead into battle and, with a running jump, brings his mace crashing down on Fuzzy G near the patch of honeydew trees. A spark is released from the velocity of the strike, and Fuzzy G goes "POP" into a pile of tiny black thorns on contact.

Months later, after a hard day of work, a tired Dayzee would settle into her rocking chair just in time for a flaming ball of black fuzz to crash through her roofing and into the ground mere feet away. The Unidentified Falling Organism (UFO) would be an item of intense curiosity for years to come.

Inezach moves over toward Teressa and kicks Fuzzy D into a fence post. Afterward, Teressa lets loose her Battle Cry unto the ears of her allies (except Ochita). Teressa moves through the new opening and stays safe behind Inezach. She grabs his Mushroom but doesn't eat it quite yet.

Vilhelmas rushes up to the golden fuzzy, moving to 11, 6, and brings down his mace!

Vilhelmas rushes up toward Goldie and, with an immense amount of force, brings his mace down! Onto the ground. Right beside Goldie. Welp.

Boothany floats over to Green Fuzzy C, taking a huge risk in attacking the critter with its prickly green spines out. Unfortunately for Bethany, The Fuzzy withdraws into itself, and her blades merely glance off its sharp outer shell.

Inezach moves under the Honeydew Tree's cover next to Goldie's gang and kicks the gilded group leader into the air. Unfortunately, Goldie evades his slimy demise, rolling backward in the air as Inezach sticks out his tongue.

Ochita makes a quick incantation and, while running north, hurls a sphere of water at Green Fuzzy C. The green critter's eyes go every which direction after being splashed by the attack, so it looks like her plan worked. Ochi-doki!

Finally, Tanky moves up behind Vil' and breathes in one more time. He puffs out a bullet in a near-vertical arc. Just as Goldie finishes taunting Vil' and 'Zach, a large bullet crashes down onto him from the the sky. All that's left afterward is a pile of golden thorns.

The Fuzzies immediately start drilling into the ground. Even though usable flowers seem to have grown scarce since the Fuzzy takeover, Inezach is sure there has to be at least one or two there.

Inezach and Teressa head north-northwest out of town. After a ten-minute jaunt, they find themselves on the edge of a much lighter section of Miracle Meadows. Black tree trunks without branches act as bases for large networks of pulsing white lights, as if these illuminated spheres wished to trick someone or other into believing they were leaves. Surrounding these trees, a faint grey mist wafts throughout the area. The mist curls and forms distinct shapes in places - in fact, if Teressa isn't mistaken, these shapes can be heard emitting the faintest of ghostly moans every once in a while.

Ochita heads over to the town market. Pink flowers give way to paper shreddings, discarded petals and other assorted garbage strewn across the ground as she approaches two large wooden shacks on the horizon. When she finally reaches the Pink Petal Village Market, she can make out the exact shape of the shacks: stalls with a counter on the bottom, merchandise in the back and large boards nailed to the top where customers can see. One stall has a board saying "Layzee's Flower Emporium," and the other says "S.G.S: Your source for ultimate power, hm hm!"

A Dayzee with drooping petals can be seen behind the counter of the Flower Emporium. It only takes Ochita a moment to realize she's sleeping. Behind the counter at S.G.S., however, a dark grey Shy Guy stands at attention. The Shy Guy seems to wear a perpetual disapproving stare on its mask, and its golden belt buckle - holding together its grey clothing - is shaped like a large golden coin. The Shy Guy notices Ochita staring and speaks up.

Before Ochita even has a chance to speak, the Guy starts introducing his wares.

The other shopkeeper continues snoring through all this.

Boothany swung her hammer around hesitantly-after a short time, the weapon turned hazy and ghostlike, much like her swords. Though it seemed no less heavy, and her entire body usually rotated and spun with the momentum.

Layzee exchanges Teressa's coin for another Smasher. It feels heavy in her hands, even if it is wood.

Teressa also notices something glowing in her pocket. As it turns out, the Magic Map updated itself when she visited the edge of the Boggly Bog with Inezach. New areas appear on the map. Oddly, one of the areas remains unnamed.

"I think Grump E. was saying the Boggly Blockhouse should have supplies we can use? North is pretty much the only direction we can go anyway, and if we can deal with the Boggly Boo and the fuzzies, we'd be doing the locals a huge favor, and that could come back to help us in the long run." He puts a finger to his chin briefly, and stares at the map again. "Also, I'm not confident we'll be able to ford the river easily. To continue past what we can see here, we'll probably have to go through that cave to the east, right? Dayzees don't seem the spelunking type, but we might be able to pick up some information on the surrounding areas from the Blockhouse, since it used to be a Mushroom Embassy."

Teressa visits Grum P. one more time as the rest of the team plots out their mission plan. The village elder barely makes his way out of the Council (which seems to just be the name he gives his house). His grey petals perk up.

Teressa asks him about the new sections on the map. He bends down to see more clearly.

After tentative good-byes are exchanged, the armored girl heads back to the main group. It looks like they've decided on the Boggly Blockhouse. It's going to be a little bit of a trek, so they set off immediately.

~One appropriate scene change later...~

As soon as the group sets foot in the Boggly Bog, the thick mist blurs their vision. Inezach steps in something sticky and notices it's a pool of gooey green liquid. Due to the coloring of the Bog's grass, it's difficult to tell the ground from a pool of dirty goop, so the group uses extra caution in case the goop is actually quicksand-esque quickgoop. It wouldn't be the craziest thing they'd seen today.

With every step, the fog seems to pulse in and out, distinct shapes and haunting moans filling the Royal Guard's eyes and ears. Every once in a while, one of them sees a Fuzzy or a Boo shape in one of the pitch-black, lit-up trees, but when they point and turn, nothing is there. Still, the feeling of being watched is ever-present.

Merely relying on the Magic Map and their own intuition, they finally make out a very large, grey building in the distance. The Boggly Bog's mist seems to wrap around the building and, as they approach it, the thick cover of blackened trees thins out. Boothany and Tanky, taking advantage of their small statures, approach the Blockhouse discretely. They see something near the front of it.

The Green Fuzzy warned them, but they are still surprised by what they see: a huge, huge, HUGE mass of writhing, jumping, yelling Fuzzies guards the entrance to the Boggly Blockhouse, each piled up on another until it is impossible to track a single critter by eye alone. As a sort of cosmic joke - the kind Lady Fate likes to pull - the Mushroom Kingdom flag, though torn, still blows in the faint evening breeze atop the keep. Great, NOW how are they going to get into the old Embassy?

Boothany floats up into the evening sky, away from the reach of any stray jumping Fuzzies. Even from a short distance, she can tell there aren't any additional entrances on the front of the castle, so that's a no-go. The swashbuckling boo girl floats up around the side of the Blockhouse, hugging the wall as she goes. The old stone it's built with is awfully cold to the touch.

She makes her way around the side of the Blockhouse. It's a lot larger than it looks from where the rest of the team is still standing. No secret exits, no special Boo doors. A little disappointed, she then flies over to the very back of the Blockhouse. It looks to be about the same at first, but Bethany spies something: a little glass window, just big enough for a largeish Boo or smallish Human to fit in, is embedded in the back of the Blockhouse about twenty feet off the ground.

Boothany prepares to either peer in or go get her teammates or some similar thing when the door/window flies open. Only the deep blackness of a haunted house can be seen inside. She hears a voice.

"Just like old times."

Unfortunately, the voice might as well be disembodied. She can't figure out where it came from.

Boothany heads through the now-open glassy entrance and finds herself in a large, dusty green room. Interestingly, the mist does not enter along with her. The only thing clouding her vision is the darkness of the Blockhouse.

Decaying war tools - a dead fire flower here, a broken spear there - litter the floor here. On one side of the room, she sees a large ladder leading down to a lower floor. Interestingly, the ladder itself is in good shape. On the opposite side of the room, she notices her childhood friend bathing in scant torchlight despite his ghostly nature. The same one whose quest inspired her to take up her own.

Booiley laughs. It's actually a lot like Boothany's own signature laugh, but a little deeper and less Boo-y.

Bethany Boo didn't know what to do this about predicament, so she almost floated back through the window...

Of course, she wasn't exactly sure how to get the rest of them inside still...though she had an idea...

Something drew her eyes Northward, though. That wall looked off. And she had bombs now. Working bombs.

She smiled in a sinister (for her) fashion, drawing a small white spherical explosive that looked like a miniature Boothany, complete with a painted face-a smile and tiny fangs.

Action: Throw a boo-bomb at that cracked wall to the North! ((lol))

Then, Float back to friends, tell whole story-assuming nothing else happened when I did so.

Bethany takes a Boo-bomb out of her inventory, takes aim toward the cracked section of the wall and lobs it with all her strength. There's a ghostly "...sSSSSss..." as the bomb's wick tears itself down to the base of the device. Bethany, with her stubbly arms over her eyes, waits for the bomb to explode. After a minute, though, it's clear nothing is going to happen.

...

Nope, it's a dud.

...

She takes her hands off her eyes, floats very slowly toward the boBOOO-OOOOOOOOOOOOM!

The bomb finally explodes, blowing a ghastly hole in the side of the Blockhouse. Bethany sees the night sky through it.

Vilhelmas gathers a group and, avoiding the gaze of the Fuzzies, heads around to the side of the building that Bethany did not check (the east side). Unfortunately, all he and the others can see in the darkness is torn Mushroom Kingdom banners hanging and flapping in the wind on the outer wall.

Ochita and Teressa, looking for chipped sections of the wall or other things that might help, notice a small crack about fifteen or so feet up the side. It almost looks like it could be blown apart. If only they had something to do that with...

However, just as they're thinking about this, the cracked section of the wall EXPLODES, showering the group centuries-old dust and gravel.

Boothany knew that in Doctrine 4.G of Mushroom Kingdom Flag laws, such poorly upkept castle banners should be destroyed rather than allow to fly in disrepair. So she saw nothing wrong about tearing them up and using them as rope!

Action: Boothany goes and collects some of torn up MK banners, tearing and fashioning them into a simple knotted rope that she then dangles from the ledge, assuming she can get them without alerting the fuzzy horde.

Boothany doesn't see any MK banners on the other sides of the Blockhouse, so she collects the ones along the nearest wall while her teammates below watch her. Before long, Boothany herself becomes invisible to those below. Only a floating, bobbing mass of torn, dirty red cloth, held up in some sort of ball near the top, can be seen.

She floats back to the broken section of wall and starts tying the banners together into rope. A handy skill one learns from years of swashbuckling. After a few minutes of waiting, she throws one end of the reddish rope down to Vilhelmas and her other friends. It hits the ground with a light "whap" and a little bit of slack. Success!

Vilhelmas grabs hold of the rope and tests its strength. When he puts both his feet on the wall, though, Bethany realizes something: she didn't find anything super-strong to secure it to, and she's still holding the rope up manually! After the first couple of steps, Bethany is pulled forward out of the new hole in the wall and onto the ground along with Vilhelmas and the rope.

Boothany grabs one end of the banner-rope and, once again, flies up to the hole in the wall. Unfortunately, there isn't much to tie the rope around above: one of the lanterns was blown onto the ground during her boo bomb explosion, and the wall behind the other lantern looks dangerously loose. Instead, she flies back down toward Tanky.

Tanky proves to be remarkably difficult to lift (there's really no telling what's inside a snifit's robe). Boothany summons up all her swashbuckling strength, though, and with a little help from the others during liftoff, manages to slowly fly Tanky up the side of the Blockhouse. When she reaches the room with the broken wall, she drops him, exhausted.

After a moment's rest, it's back to work. Both Tanky and Boothany grab the far end of the rope, and Inezach grabs it. The purple dino easily runs up the side of the wall with his spiked Yoshi boots, taking hold of the far end of the rope once he reaches Boothany and Tanky.

For the Humans, it's a little trickier. Even with the help of Tanky, Beth and 'Zach above, each one of them still weighs significantly more than the small creatures. Ochita, being a magi and thus the lightest, takes hold of the rope first. Step by step, she climbs up the side of the wall. Only a few glimmers of the sun can be seen in the sky by this point, and they will all be soon consumed by darkness.

Once Ochita reaches the top, getting Vilhelmas and Teressa up is a lot easier. Finally, the six of them, still slightly coating with dust and rubble, are ready to take on whatever awaits them in the Blockhouse.

Inezach peeks through the western "door," but all he can see is the night sky. He also tries to identify the items on the ground. It looks like they're just old, rusted weapon parts, plants and other useless things.

Boothany grabs the ever-burning lantern on the wall as well as the rope she used earlier. Neither of them have any discernibly combat-usable effects, but who knows when they'll come in handy later?

Zach and Ochita move first, tag teaming the lone Green Fuzzy. As they move further into the dungeon, they see a room absolutely filled with Boggly Boo's minions. No matter, though: just focus on one at a time, right? Ochita aims her Aqua Sphere in an arc that passes over 'Zach, but the spell makes the water under their feet wet as it pours over the Green Fuzzy. The poor purple Yoshi, attempting a running kick attack, accidentally slips on the floor instead.

Tanky and Boothany also double up on a Boo, and this gives Boothany a brief feeling of regret. Luckily, she doesn't have to poof a Boo into nothing just yet because their attacks don't prove powerful enough to make the Boogician disappear!

It's the enemies' turn now, and they go for fresh blood. All four of the visible Boos turn their sights on the one they deem least dangerous - the one who tripped in battle - Zach. The poor Yoshi is struck with not one, not five, but FOUR HUNDRED VOLTS of lightning magicks! Blackened and smoking, he tries to rise to his feet, but his stubbly Yoshi arms simply cannot muster the strength to lift off the floor.

In a vain attempt to prevent its friends from coming to harm, one of the black Fuzzies forms a Tetris Block with the southmost Boos. Otherwise, no other movement occurs. The remaining foes hold their positions.

Action: After BooA is dead (attack it instead if Vil misses), Float two East and three South and lob a BooBomb at Booc. Preferably not hitting Ochita, so toss before her turn.

He moved two left, brought up his mace, and swung it sideways to attack Boo A.
