SpellsThis spell is a bit too complicated and mildly confusing. It should be OK with some tweaks, but right now it's too complex for me to really understand very well.
Name:Confusion Spell
Materials: Parts of the entity you wish to confuse, the more parts you have, the longer the spell lasts, or you can simply cast it near the entity you wish to affect if you can keep them still
Verbal and gesture components: Chant “The confusion will follow you” while pointing at the creature you wish to confuse or its parts. Repeat the chant for every minute * the weight in pounds of your ficus your spell lasts for.
Example: If you want to cast the spell for 20 minutes on a 4 pound dog, you could either chant “the confusion will follow you” 5 times with the whole dog (if it’s still at the time) or if you wanted to do so without having to be near it, you could collect a pound of its fur and chant it 20 times. Both ways achieve the same effect, but if you don’t have a way to keep who you want to confuse still you can use things that have their DNA instead, just more chanting is needed
Effect: The spell puts the target in a general state of confusion, forgetting things easily, doing random behaviors, reacting to things that don’t exist, etc. for however long it lasts
(If something is confusing please tell me)
The larger the target, the longer the spell lasts for, if you have, for example, some blood/hair from the target you wish to confuse, you don’t have to be near the target for the spell to work, but since you have less of the target, it takes longer to cast, since the amount of time is determined by the amount of chants tthat mes the weight of your focus. So the smaller the amount, the longer you would have to chant to achieve the same length of confusion on your target than if you were using the target themselves as a focus. Did my example make things more confusing? I can give anotherSpellsThis spell is a bit too complicated and mildly confusing. Hmm, I have one idea for a creature, but it kind of either requires me to make fairies to go with it, or just assumes that fairies are a thing. The Arcanidex entry uses a crystal within creation that others haven’t put an entry for, so maybe you could do something similar with the fairies? I am not the GM. I’m guessing

Selenite is a real material. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selenite_(mineral))Spoiler: Have a picture (click to show/hide)
Any of the people who have stated your example could figure it out if they bothered to look it up.
Hmm, I have one idea for a creature, but it kind of either requires me to make fairies to go with it, or just assumes that fairies are a thing. There are magical creatures that exist outside of the arcanodex, fairies will become one such creature if mentioned.
Arcane CreatureWhy? Why arcane? Arcane is weak to unholy.
Name:Demon Parasite
Origin: They can be found on or near demons and other unholy creatures. It is unclear how they originated, but they can divide from existing members, similar to bacteria
Abilities: The more of them that are on a demon, the weaker the demon becomes, as these creatures drain the demon’s power and life for themselves. When they get big enough, they can divide into smaller versions if themselves, and spread to other demons
Behavior: It stays on a demon until draining it completely, then moves on to the next nearest demon
Description: They each look like a blue worm with a proboscis, which they use to drain demons. They also have antennae surrounding their bodies, which they use to ensure they are near and on a demon.
(Looked at beginning post and realized I needed a bestiary entry so I added one. Is this good?

I know, I'm sorry .-.It's fine
Alright, since it seems appropriate. Should we start? To begin with I'm just dropping you guys into some random back alley of a coastal city with 1000 dollars in local currency, a copy of the arcanodex, and the clothes you are wearing.Sounds good
Explore my surroundings, find a shop and buy a backpack, talk with some people about their experiences with magicYou find that you are located in a large coastal city called New Yont, it appears to have some problems with magical creature infestations, and has a large park with a heck stone circle at the center. You buy a relatively cheap if well built backpack from a shop for fifteen dollars in local currency, and talk with some people about their experiences with magic. It seems like magic is a recent occurrence, only having emerged in the last fifteen years and most people just view it as a new pest of sorts, mainly dealing with rakaras, though some others recount tomato soup saving their lives from otherwise lethal injuries.
Find pebbles, create a Rakara. Make note of where it stores its shinies. You create a rakara out of pebbles (2d6, 3+6=9, superior outcome) and tracking it leads you to a sort of rakara nest, where rakara have found or built a dry place and bring their shinies and any rocks they gather. The Rakara you created appears to be smarter than average, and appears to be starting to organize the local rakara a bit. You successfully buy all the things you wanted, for roughly 1.5 tenths of your total funds. You gather seashells (You rolled a 6 on 2d6, mildly inferior outcome) you find a few, many of them are broken or chipped though. You ask around for jobs, it appears as though there is a job to clear out local rakara infestations, which would be quite easy with your skill set
Go to Walmart and buy 3 rolls of Duct Tape, a flip phone (with unlimited talk/text), a calendar (mostly for the phases of the moon), and a map.
Acquire seashell from the beach.
Ask around for jobs requiring a mage.
Search for a cheap hotel and a part-time jobYou find a hotel offering rooms for (you rolled a five, inferior outcome) 50 dollars per night. For a part time job (you rolled a 6, slightly inferior outcome) you find a job as a dishwasher and helping clean up after hours at a local diner, it comes with free dinner consisting of whatever is left over at the end of the day, and pays 10 dollars an hour. There's also some demand for a mage to help with local rakara infestations
Find a general goods store. You aren't in the game yet, not until you submit at least 2 arcanodex entries.
Holy EventYou also need 2 more entries of spells, potions, soups, or artifacts
Name: La sainte tempête
Description: It looks like a normal rain storm, with only a slight change. Where the light hits the clouds, you can see a little glint of silver.
When: It occurs when a normal rainstorm would happen, in an area where a large amount of holy magic was used recently.
What: It is a rain storm, but the rain is all holy water.
Technically he only needs one more. YOu can save 1 entry to do later.Holy EventYou also need 2 more entries of spells, potions, soups, or artifacts
