Go back in time and teach the early Elves proper Dwarfy-ness, and how Dwarves are their allmighty gods. This would cause future him to not hate future Elves, and have no reason to go back and fix them, meaning that he never fixed them, meaning that he has a reason to go back, meaning that he fixed them, meaning that in the future he has no reason...

What would Urist's cat do if a Kobold pet her?
