I am now allowing players to perform their turns directly in this thread, all turn info will be posted in spoilers with a map, after looking over these details simply make a research request then move ships/make construction orders/even make ship designs through this method as well even though it may be a bit slower than a fully interactive turn via the livestream channel.

In the upper right, three scared little constructors and the Frigga appointed to defend them while they work. The Frigga is a carrier ship equiped only with four fighter bays capable of deploying Hornets. Hornets carry but a single dumbfire missile a piece(power is divided by 5 of course).

Ka-blooey. Yeah, wasn't very eventful. Not much damage besides a couple of lost sections on one of the Fenrirs. My screen-shot fu was also quite weak so, yeah...
Still, Redwarrior has a large wound in his empire now, he has lost 8550 worth due to his station being annihilated just before the Sting MKII was completed. That ship would have helped significantly.

Here you see Cerapa's ships and stations just hanging out. The three ships are Lump Smashers, incredibly fragile but each sporting a powerful vulcan cannon.
The station in the upper left is a 'One Eyed Crab', the habitat station of Pio-Alions.
The defense platform roughly in the middle is a Kitty Flak 88, packing four autocannons and a PD factor of 1.
And finally the big sucker is a Crab Factory, capable of building even the largest ships in record time for a station due to its five production bays. It also is pretty hardy due to its size. It is currently working on a Hellcat.

Well, something nice did get done for DFnewb, as that monster you see there is his Seigfried MK1! Packing several twin blaster turrets, a pair of quad missile turrets, 6 fighter bays and 6 construction bays. It is DFnewb's flagship, and it's very likely(read, definitely) here to check out that anomaly, and basically slaughter everything in its path while it's at it.
It is accompanied by the 4000 series of DFnewb's ships. The Frigga, Hersir, and Ullr. The Frigga is the same carrier we saw in the first battle. The Hersir is a blaster boat, carrying 7 blasters on a otherwise small-ish frame. And the Ullr is a Point defense ship carrying a ring of 8 point beams, easily neutralising most if not all incoming fire. The Ullr also carries one fighter bay.

Not long after and the habitat station gets picked off.
This battle has cost Cerapa 14200 in stations, 3600 in functional ships, and 17500 from losing the Hellcat that was under construction. All this was a grand total of 35300 cash.
DFnewb didn't lose a thing besides perfectly expendable fighters.
It is now Myroc's turn.
Anyway let me see if I get the jist of the rules.... are you going to be changing them by the way?
Basically we start off with a space station with a habitat module, a warp beacon, and a production bay. We also have one constructor ship with a constructor module.
We start off knowing about 3 of the following:
Blaster
Plasma
Dumb-fire Rocket
Machine Gun
Auto Cannon
As well as one of the following:
Flak
Particle Gun
Point Beam
Point Rockets
As well as turrets being researched from the start...
Every player starts off in a corner of the map and tries to take over the other areas. You can find anomalies with your flag ship that may lead to other areas, or give you weapons etc, however the worm holes may collapse. Your flag ship is one of your ship designs that costs 1/4 less than normal to make and can be replaced when destroyed. Modules are... pretty self explanatory except for the fighter bay and the mining bay (questions are below if you haven't noticed). In order to mine you have to have 1 PD per density level. Stations have a buy one get one free on weapons and PD weapons. Stations also have double health.
Question: Do turrets keep us at a 45 rotation limit or do we have a 360 turret platform?
Question: Can space stations be yarded or scrapped for cash?
Question: Can you research anything? For instance, could I research a stronger material for hulls that makes them stronger by 1/3 and then research a way to manufacture them cheaper so they cheaper by 1/4 of the cost? Could I research a shield and then research a way to make it regenerate?
Question: When you mention station PD and asteroid fields and density, are you talking about the stations density (how many "levels" of shapes you have) or asteroid field density?
Question: Can we research any type of weapon (well, weapons that the game mechanics will permit), or can we only elaborate on the five you chose?
Question: Can we ally with someone? If we can, do they still get a 1/2ed mining penalty if they are mining in an allied area?
Question: Do flag ships take the same amount of time to build as their non flagship counterpart, or do they have a time deduction as well?
Question: Can we yard/scrap flag ships and modify/create a new one?
Question: How do you determine how much fighter bays cost?
Question: What does +.5 mean for mining bays? 50% more profit? $.5 more profit? .5% more profit?
Thats... all I can think of for now.
