Title: [ISG] You wake up in a room

You wake up in a room. You do not remember how you got here. The air is quite cold. The floor and walls are made of metal. There is a light fixture at the top, shining with a soft light. There is a broken clock lying on the ground, looks like it was once attached to one of the walls. There is a door on one edge of the room, with the inscription: HALL A1

What do you do?

nope, nothing special, what makes you think they used our blood as writing? If they did that, surely we’d still be bleeding. Given that blood isn’t on the walls and floor, I think it’s safe to assume that it is paint or stickers that make up the label. Plus the red of the label is too light of a red to be blood

The walls seem too dirty to really make anything out.
You also lick the wall for some reason. Well, it tastes like dirt with a hint of a metallic flavor. What did you expect?

As you approach the door, it slides open and a hall opens on the other side.

So you decide to try to gain access to the computer.

Hi, I’d be new to you, as you are new to me, welcome back, also I;d like to see what’s on the computer to try fixing it, by looking at the options menu, the reason I;m not holding it here is because I voted for it in a previous post. Why is there more in favor of eating paper then trying to fix the computer?

You inspect the broken clock. It appears to show about five twenty-three PM. Obviously it's not working, though. After some consideration, you decide to abandon the broken computer.

You look at the door on the left, backing up against the wall so it doesn't automatically open. It seems to not be able to fully close, and there is a smiley face burned into the surface of it. Behind it seems to be another hall with an opening with pipes inside at the end of it.

You look into the hole. It's too small to fall in, at most you could fit an arm or a leg through.

You see another room or corridor below. It's dark  inside but light shines through the hole. In the floor you see another hole that seems too deep to see anything inside. In the room there is a cage-like box with bars and a door on one side, and a bone, lying in a pile of bone fragments and dried blood.
Weird. And icky.

You decide to smell the pipes before licking them for some reason. The pipes are behind glass. To get past the glass, you throw the broken clock at it.

The glass shatters and the broken clock bounces back into the hall. Most large shards fell into the void behind the glass. Something alive inside the pipes squeaks, startled by the noise, and scampers away deeper into the pipe system. The pipes smell like nothing in particular, and nothing drips from them. They're apparently ventilation ducts. Meanwhile, the red door seems to have something very bright and red behind it, shining red light through the slit.

What do you do?

I think the idea is that it's a handprint scanner for a door.
Yes, that too. I was thinking something else, either way, it’s probably a good idea to check before we put our who,e body through it. I was thinking like, lasers or something, like in those heist scenes, except these ones are vertical, and very close together to give the appearance of a door. So putting our hand through first will gouge whether or not this is the case, and if it’s safe, we can go through without getting burned. That was my thinking

The creature in the pipes is likely a predator, based on the fact we found dried blood and bone near the cage that in all likelihood once held it. We shouldn’t be messing with it right now, nor should we do any marking. What method of marking did you think would be done? Humans don’t tend to mark territory the same way other animals do. We mark where we are with roads and buildings. Neither of which are easily placed or made.

You pick the clock back up and then look through the hole in the glass. There are no signs of the creature, besides the continued clambering heard in the pipes. However the pipes seem to be going up and down for hundreds of meters below and above the glass, forming a massive, criss-crossing network.

You then put your hand on the seam on the door. The light coming from it warms your hand, but it doesn't seem harmful. The door opens by itself soon after. The spherical light on the ceiling is BLINDINGLY BRIGHT, but your eyes soon adjust. You end up in a large room with many turned-off computers and a seemingly corrupted large screen on the wall. There is another vent on the side.

You read the corrupted screen. As you approach it, the unreadable garbage on it reforms into words.

You then try to turn on one of the computers. It sure does turn on, however it appears to require a password. You don't know the password, and there is a timer ticking down.

You look away from the computer and into the vent. Or rather, at the vent, since the cover is screwed in tightly and you don't have anything to unscrew it with. Hmmm.

All of a sudden, something explodes behind you! There is a flash of light and everything goes dark.

You open your eyes, and find yourself in a wasteland. The ground is dry, gray, and ashy, with many small and large rocks. Before you is a dead, twisted, blackened tree, and in the distance is an abandoned, ruined city with blocky buildings. The sky is cloudy, and the entire landscape is completely silent.

Break the tree open somehow, maybe by using the rocks. Maybe the tree was killed by larvae of some sort who may still be inside, we need food

Sorry for the lateupdate, I lost interest for a bit, now I regained it. I will keep updating this and my other game on a weekly schedule.

You set off towards the ruined city. However, you trip and fall on a rock.

The fall is unpleasant and you end up face-first on the ground. Then... there is a sudden flash of darkness as you feel disconnected from this world.

You have no idea where you are now and you can't feel your body. This image flashes before your eyes...

Then there is complete darkness.

You slowly open your eyes and wake up in the same computer room you were before the explosion. The lamp on the ceiling is shattered and not working, and the shards are stuck in two of the computer screens, as well as in the vent cover (which fell off), and on the floor. It's a miracle you didn't get stabbed by one of those. It is very dark here and there are bloody paw prints leading from the vent out of the room. Since you are not wounded, it is not your blood.

It is dark here. A slight draft of air is coming from the vent, but nothing else. Nothing except bloody paw-prints leading out of a turn in the pipe.

You examine the paw-prints. They appear to look a bit like canine paw-prints but you're not sure. Nothing much unusual about them. You also lick one. It tastes like blood. What did you expect?

The paw-prints appear to lead out of the room. Your eyes adjust to the light again.

It appears that the creature was running from something into the next room to the side. There are bloodstains on the glass. You walk through the door.

The light fixture here is on the side. There is an almost-closed vertical door, and the footsteps lead underneath it. There is a seemingly non-functional keypad on the door. There is also a drawing of a skull burned into the door. You can barely lift the door with your hands, but it quickly falls back into its position. Trying to squeeze yourself through will likely cause you to get stuck, and you do not want that.

Try to figure out a solution if you wish to proceed with following the prints.
