Title: Copying embark profiles to new releases?

One of the main things I have to do between versions it seems is to make a new embark profile. Is there a way to copy over a profile from the previous version? I tried to search for "embark" or "profile" files in the DF directory with no results. Similar searches of DFwiki and the forums produced nothing that I could see.

Is there a way to copy an embark profile from one version to the next?

Normally I can copy the artwork and edit init files (only about 3 or 4 changes needed between versions) but it takes much longer to assign skills to Dwarves and load up on 'meat' barrels, etc.

When you save an embark profile it should create/append \data\init\embark_profiles.txt. Are you sure you're looking in the right place?

You're right, I only had saved a profile in _02 but when I searched I only looked in _03. Sorry ! :O
