Title: another monster fish problem.

i have designated a safe fresh water source... but my dam dwarves seem to rather be nibbled to death by carps. anyway to prevent this?

would they still take booze? Thanks btw.
EDIT:Noticed a elevetion in parts of the river bank from where its safe to shoot... (PAYBACK TIME!!)
EDIT:hmm.. they refuse the zone only order. oh wel. less mouths to feed.

They will booze up if they can; make sure you have enough barrels.  Also, they'll drink out of a well before they drink out of a river, and it seems like they'll drink out of a river before they drink out of a murky pond with stagnant water.  Even if it means sleeping with the fishes.
