What the hell is a craftsdwarf , i dont see it on the list of my available choices (Trying to follow the wiki entry about getting started)
Is it just a combination of the skills with crafter at the end of them?
Was the title changed?

A craftdwarf is a dwarf who use the craftdwarf workshop to mold something into a trinket. Think an "artisant" who simply take a little piece of wood and turn it into a toy for his children...
Basically, it's in that workshop that you build everything of trade value which is non-critical to the fortress, or not related to other workshops. The wiki describe this very well.
There is a job in the job menu especially for craftworking.

I swear I have ran through the list of jobs atleast 20 times , I cannot find it :(
What pray tell is the name? and whats it above/below.
sorry again but this is really stumping me , I seriously cannot find it.

In the skill giving menu its "stone crafter, wood crafter ect..."
in the labour menu its "craftsworking"

Labor menu? So basically I just want to novice the skills with crafter in it? (Like asked in original post)

Add it to stonecrafting, its the one you'll use the most (aside from bone)

Thanks for the responses guys , it means a lot to see good responses from the community besides the general flame fest's im used to.
Im going to hit up dwarf fortress tomorrow while doing some boring crap in everquest heh. Hope to enjoy it.
