In order to add a new page, simply type the name of the page you want to create into the search box, and hit the "GO" button. Then, when the "could not find page" shows up, go ahead and click the "You can create this page" button. Do it to it and help out the community in a huge way!

stuff done:
-workshops: the worst DF workshop article ever, but at least there is one now.
-fire: worse than workshops
-rewalling: still bad, but a more needed article
-machines: lists game's machine parts build submenu contents, but a good start. also first time I used internal links
will add to this list if I try to make any more...

That's perfect!! You don't need to be a master writer right now. We are trying to get the basic information up there now, so 1) people can read it for a reference, and 2) so that there is actually something to rewrite later! There's no way we can make a comprehensive wiki from scratch without it being ultra-rough around the edges at first.
Just put your information up in a conversational manner, and it will get fixed later. Thanks for helping out! With everybody's discoveries, we will have a very adequate wiki in a very, very short time frame!
Every single control I could think of, brought to you by... um... boredom! And lots of it.

also, FIX THE HELP PAGE! not all of us are masters at wiki-code, and if I want to do something fancy (like those workshop tables from the old version) we have to manually go back there ( http://archive.dwarffortresswiki.net if you want to look, think that's the link) and spy on the code ;)
Failing that, the wiki software can show you all the pages in the Template: namespace. Use the Special pages link in the "toolbox" on the left, click "All pages", and change the namespace to template.
They should all be in the category, though. ;)
