Title: Bolts in adventure mode?

I'm having a little trouble finding them... I thought they would be sold by a weapons dealer.

There are a lot of unavailable items at present.  Best bet now is drafting crossbowmen and letting them die or risking gobs.  Or a fortress if you can find one.  You could even run a fortress for one season, pump out bolts (make sure to dig a bit so it saves the site), and then go there with your retired adventurer.
