Just a trend I noticed, but while looting human fortresses or towns I have never found metal gauntlets or boots. Just gloves or shoes of varying cloth tier qualities. Never armor for the sake of armoring stuff. This can be a hassle, since an unlucky hit can cripple an otherwise good adventure and turn the tide of battle simply because no one heard of making metal finger coverings.
The various crafting mods added in let you craft your own bone armor, including boots and gauntlets, but last I tried it the gauntlets couldn't be worn, and both were subpar armor quality anyway. Additionally, last I tried it I literally couldn't find the leather tanning reaction, rendering most armor crafting options useless. Maybe that was my own incompetence...
Obvious solutions would be to make a dorf fort and forge my own darn armor for my own darn adventurers, but I'm lazy. Finding the fort as an adventurer would be a pain too.
My Masterwork version is a bit out of date, 3vb. Maybe it's a thing that's been fixed, I dunno.
So, uh. Are my adventurers doomed to unprotected bits or is there some loot source I'm missing?

yeah your version is a quite a bit out dated the version have 3c or was it 3d ( i have to look at it again) at least there's metal boots and gauntlets in every town/fort.
also meph isn't really focusing on adv mode and it showed for a while one of his changes caused adv mode non military civs folks to be naked and new adventures spawned almost naked too. suppostly that's been fixed in the newer versions though.

Yeah, I did do a few fixes for adv mode. If people give me more reports about whats wrong with it, I'll fix more. :)
