Just wondering, I'm usually on this chat room for android called TheLobby.Its pretty fun with people always on.Most people know me to and we have great laughs.Its all fun but say I want to be more popular on there what do I do?Mainly its either funny stuff or perverted stuff that people do.Any ideas?
Oh im 'Dat Epic Guy' on there by the way.So yeah my name cant get more epicer than it is.

You become popular by making people like you, chat room or not. Maybe start a fun project and invite the people there to join you?

Be active, be a cool guy, be level-headed, don't try too hard, just things like that. There's not going to be any instant results like "oh wow i just noticed that you're suddenly X and now i find you irresistable", you just need to hang around regularly and let people warm up to you. Also, this isn't a recipe for popularity, i take no responsibility for a lack of results.

I've been popular on one chat board in particular just by being... very friendly and inviting.
Heck, how much I am liked here tends to depend on how critical and negative I am being at the time. In that it is inversely related yet somewhat parabolic.
Anyhow I guess I also did some other things
1) acknowledge people personally: What is being popular if not being everyone's friend? chat with people individually, Private chat with them.
2) Include others: Not everyone has a strong force of personality and while you absolutely do not want to bombard then, people like the idea of being included and others will notice.

Well, if you are bad at it. Which most people are.
The stink of desperation is a very difficult thing to wash off.

Just remember to not mix up peoples details and names, it gets really awkward, especially if they keep changing their nicks slightly :L

Plus earning popularity by being fake... just makes you fake popular in essence.

Earning popularity being fake also has the notable disadvantage of stressing you out because you have to be like your cool fake you whenever you go into that chatroom.
Just be you. A lot of personal and social problems become solved in pretty short order when you're comfortable with who you are.
