Easy:
Went to a lair of some weak night creature, proceeded in killing every buzzard around it, bare handed.
I killed a few by biting their beaks off then hitting them with it. Or by smacking their stomaches on their heads. I was killed by a freezing ocean, with 200+ buzzard kills. I survived only on buzzard meat and buzzard blood. Did I mention I was naked as well?

So, my guy, a lasher blessed with a silver whip, crossed the ocean the long way to get to an elven island. Once there, I got a quest to kill a sewer-dweller. I got lost in there and retired my way out of the sewers.
A season later, I came out of retirement and went adventuring once more. I decided to train on a crab, so I get to the beach... and my guy refuses to autoattack it.
THOSE FRIGGIN' ELVES BRAINWASHED HIM, MAN!
I spent the night in a village, bummed out, and at the crack of dawn, decided to take revenge.
I killed everyone in the village but one, female elf.
I broke all of her limbs, destroyed her face and ears (I got your nose!), ripped out her teeth, and left her lying in a pool of her own blood, facial features, and teeth.
I then crossed a strait between the isle and mainland, went into a human village, and guess what?
They were cool with it. I even recruited a maceman there.
This game is fun.
EDIT: That same fellow was killed by bogeys after leaving Macey behind.
Darnit.

Bo₧stvo Diedpaddles the Tired Lizard the bronze colossus killed 137 named historical figures (the most of anyone in the world).
It was killed by Idu Courtesydaub the gnome, who had three other kills, all of which were also bosses.
27 years later, he was killed by Aweme Deadriver the Inconsiderate Scar of Crafts the elf, who had 110 named kills and 1805 unnamed kills. That's the second-most named kills in the world and the most overall kills in the world.
He died at the hands of Dehit Burnseeds the human vampire, who had no other named kills, but 1492 unnamed kills. That's the second-most overall.
Killing her was was my first quest. I killed the vampire with the second-most overall kills, who had killed the elf with the most overall kills and the second-most named kills, who had killed the gnome who had killed the colossus with the most named kills.
And I didn't know until now.

In my third quest to kill a camp i grabbed the bronze longsword out of the boss's hands, with a single strike sawed off 2 of his dudes heads , mortally wounded the third by slicing his throat and went back to the boss, kicked him in the left lower leg making him fall on his knees, stabbed his own sword through his chest tearing apart his heart and left the sword logged in his chest as i walked away.

15 in game years later, while my friend was playing his turn, he was ambushed by another pack of goblins and is immediately greeted by a "the swordsman loses hold of the wool glove" message.
Turns out it was the same goblin who survived 15 years after I left him handless in the wilds.
My friend killed all the other goblins, broke no-hands other hand and then left him to fend for his own as I did.
He's still out there somewhere.

Also, I once gave a fellow in arena mode a standard set of clothes (rope reed fiber shirt, trousers, thong, socks, leather shoes) and a leather jacket. I then gave him an iron crossbow, 21 lead bolts, and an iron minecart. I planned to simulate generic action heroes, with the crossbow having the intent of being his handgun and the minecart a car.
Lemme tell ya, I ran out of ammo pumping one guy full of lead (who then went BOOM! headshot), crashed the car with an exact copy of himself causing it to flip over, break his arms, and crush his head, and not to mention the guy never even made it to the top floor with the ninja king on it.
Also, never ride up a slope on a minecart. Ever. You WILL die, unless you break your body's bones, forcing you to lay there like a 2-second old puppy until they heal, or, more likely, get your face caved in by bogeymen or goblins or something.

I tracked a group of bandits to their camp in a forest. I lit the surrounding vegetation alight and snuck around, fighting them one at a time, disappearing in and out of the smoke. One by one they dropped, missing limbs and pouring blood. I saved the Chief for last... He broke my leg with his mace, so I knocked it out of his hand. Grabbing hold of his throat, I strangled him as the fires consumed us.
I actually survived, but my face was melted.
Sounds like it's from a movie,I imagine how the fight went,the hero (aka the adventurer) smashed the chief's hand on a burning tree forcing him to drop the mace,and while he was recovering the hero slammed the chief into said tree by the throat and just kept pushing,burning the chief's body in the fire,the hero came out of the forest fire horribly scared for life.

think i almost made a medium world completely devoid of life.

I once had an adventurer. He had traveled continents and slain mighty titans. None could stand before him! His skills were legendary, his attributes that of a deity. He was perfection incarnate
He was traveling through an abandoned castle. In its courtyard resided a small herd of Horses, not more than 20. I happened to pass too closely for their liking and one of them kicked at me.
"How dare this lowly creature strike at one such as myself!?!" my adventurer yelled! "I shall teach this cretin the meaning of PAIN"
I sheathed my weapon and shouldered my shield...I then punched the horse so hard in the face that it died instantly. by this point of the story they're usually pretty amused. I then go on to describe my anger at its feeble corpse and decide to punish the rest of the herd. I pick up the body of the horse and hurl it at the nearest horse.
Combat logs describe a gruesome scene:
Flying horse corpse strikes the horse in the abdomen, impaling it.
Horse corpse loses hoof x2, right front leg, back right leg, head.
I then proceed to pick both corpses up and duel wield them in a horse slaughtering rampage...
I have no failed to gain a single new player yet.

After procuring myself a shield from a local elf I've mained, I took a few steps in the overworld and accidentally discovered a lair. I went in like a fool and encountered a dragon. Quite surprisingly, I managed to get a few hits in until it happened: the dragon charged me, knocking me down and ripping my shield arm off my body. He then took advantage of my dazed state and set me ablaze when I rather ineffectively tried to run.
After three or so turns of burning alive, I was no longer dazed... But I knew I was doomed. So I did the only thing I could: I threw my goddamn copper spear at it in defiance... And it got the dragon in the head. Then I bled to death.
Future adventurers will find a dead dragon with a spear lodged in its head and ashes everywhere. My adventurer, Xenias Aurabeast, died as a hero that no one will ever know since her body was incinerated.

Of course, since that doesn't work well with real physics, I instead pictured him beating the door down with his sword and smashing the leader's head at the same time.

The Minotaur somehow spawned behind me (there were only dead-ends between me and the stairway, I had checked all of them!) and charged my humans. The first I knew of it was a small message saying "The -Iron Pick- has lodged itself in Human Spearman's upper body!" Now, I knew from the wiki that Minotaurs had really good weapon skills with most forms of weaponry, but tended to be unarmed. This one had a fucking Iron Pick. And I, being an Elf, was UNARMORED. At this point, I was thinking "oh shit oh shit oh shit." The Minotaur smashes its way through my lackeys, then starts boasting about its kills (five Elves like myself, and the three humans I had just fed to it's meat-grinder). I'm pretty much resigned to having to make a new Adventurer now. So, the Minotaur charges. I dodge. It attacks. I dodge. It attacks again. I do-wait, is this a wall behind me? FUCK!
With no other options, I start attacking. And hit it in the leg. Then in the lower body. Then in the head. And again, and again. The badass, however, is not my Elf.
THE MINOTAUR DIED OF BLOOD-LOSS FROM IT'S LEG BEFORE I COULD BREAK THROUGH ITS HEAD!
Edit: I proceeded to edit the raws so that I could make myself a *Minotaur Leather Cloak* (I have Wanderer's Friend installed).

Not at all badass, but certainly brutal. I went into an Elvish Keep's dungeon on my latest adventurer (who had a full set of Masterwork Adamantine armor, I might add), and found a room with a single Ant Soldier Woman Blowgunner. I ripped her blowgun out of her hands, and let her beat hopelessly at me with her four hands to train my Armor and Shield Use skills. Eventually she got collapsed from exhaustion, at which point I took out my weapon, a large serrated Adamantine disc, and promptly sawed her arms and legs off before leaving her to bleed out.
I'm assuming you gain these things through a custom reaction, and if so, could you share it? I'm not too good with reaction making.

Actually, I just realized, the armor raws will be basically worthless to anyone who isn't me. I have modded boots (ITEM_BOOT_THIGH) that cover the upper leg, modded breastplate (ITEM_ARMOR_FULL) that covers the throat, modded gloves (ITEM_GLOVES_HIGH) that cover the upper arms, modded shield (ITEM_SHIELD_TOWER) with a bit higher block chance (I tend not to use it unless I meet a lasher though), and a modded chain shirt (ITEM_ARMOR_MAIL_DRESS) that covers the entire body. So unless you have those in your raws, trying to run "Armor Time" will crash DF. To fix that, change them to the non-modded versions, so the new raw would be:

Also, thanks for the info about ranged weapons, I thought that Adamantine ammo would be more effective (more armor-piercing ability), and unless you get into melee with a ranged weapon, the material it's made of really doesn't matter.

The only outsider I did was a thrower. He got a quest to kill some "night hag" or whatever.
No biggie.
Before I could get close enough to throw, he beat my face in.
Never making an outsider again.

Actually, the breastplate has LBSTEP:1 too, and thus covers my ass (literally). I would've preferred to have it not cover the upper arms ( my original idea was basically a plate-tunic and gorget). The chain dress is, quite literally, a chain mail shirt that gives the same amount of coverage as a dress (which covers everything like a cloak, yes). Alternatively, if you like, imagine a chain-mail catsuit (oh God that must chafe!)
As to the ranged weapon thing... You're absolutely correct. Which is why my weapon of choice is a large, serrated disc. My adventurer is basically the lovechild of Tira from Soulcalibur and Sivir from LoL ^_^

I was forced to lick it off then and there. So I continued onward to the necro tower. The zombies didn't bug me, so I just continued onward. Before the necromancers could reach me, I grabbed the book and read it over the course of three seconds. Then I beat up the 'mancers and reanimated their corpses.
With only my undead slaves as my companions, I returned. I quickly notified some guy of my success, and he thanked me.
Then he got eaten by zombies.
Then everyone else got eaten by zombies.
So, my massive dwarven zombie army marched onward. I figured I'd have to take care of a quest, run back and tell someone I won, and ask for another quest before my zombies ate them.
So I approached the bandit camp I was sent to, but they had a head start on us. A huge group of bandits arrived, planning to take us out. We overpowered them by sheer force; I would occasionally dismember a bandit who was too close and reanimate him, and I'd reanimate any fallen

Just be aware, ambushes scale to the size of your group, generally, so don't be surprised if you get shot in the face by one page's worth of Goblin Crossbowmen while one page's worth of Goblin Swordmen systematically disarm and disleg your horde.

This is becoming a problem for me as I find companions to be relatively useless since my Adventurer is somewhat legendary. They keep dying to these ambushes despite my best efforts to cripple all the goblins and have my companions finish them off. So I just end up travelling alone 99% of the time.
I'll never get a group of high level, seasoned soldiers to accompany me in my adventures. Bah.

There were two exits. The one I came from and another one that lead further into sewer, of course this could of linked me back up to the surface and saved me; or just dug myself deeper into the horrific nightmare. I decided to try my luck with the latter door and of course it took me to what can only be described as a stony broom cupboard. I turned on my heels and scanned the area. My companions bravely fighting on, almost turning the tide until I realised after each die they rise themselves as an enemy. I decided to cowardly begin my journey around the room passing by the oblivious undead one by one getting closer to the door, hacking away at legs so any obstacle in my road would be knocked down and praying not to be latched onto.
It was a final stretch to the exit and I'd be away; free. I ran, not before going off course for the slightest second to jollily slicing off the mummy/necro/whatever's right hand to muster the feeling that I've accomplished something from this tale. I blasted through the exit, leaving my faithful companions to an existence of everlasting servitude and pain. I intended to go back one day and have my revenge but that character died several days later from being forced to traverse a small river in which I also forgot he couldn't swim.

Delving deep into the sewers with my somewhat-fresh-already-beloved-by-myself created character with my six companions I stumble upon a mummy/necro/whatever in the sewers of a town for the second time in my entire career of playing. At first I attempted fighting but my character was barely powerful enough to take one of them on instead of twenty eight.
There were two exits. The one I came from and another one that lead further into sewer, of course this could of linked me back up to the surface and saved me; or just dug myself deeper into the horrific nightmare. I decided to try my luck with the latter door and of course it took me to what can only be described as a stony broom cupboard. I turned on my heels and scanned the area. My companions bravely fighting on, almost turning the tide until I realised after each die they rise themselves as an enemy. I decided to cowardly begin my journey around the room passing by the oblivious undead one by one getting closer to the door, hacking away at legs so any obstacle in my road would be knocked down and praying not to be latched onto.
It was a final stretch to the exit and I'd be away; free. I ran, not before going off course for the slightest second to jollily slicing off the mummy/necro/whatever's right hand to muster the feeling that I've accomplished something from this tale. I blasted through the exit, leaving my faithful companions to an existence of everlasting servitude and pain. I intended to go back one day and have my revenge but that character died several days later from being forced to traverse a small river in which I also forgot he couldn't swim.
Drat! Drat it all!
Well, this means one thing: Embark next to the town, near enough to enter, and get revenge. With dorfs. Lots and lots of dorfs.
Barring that, take him on later as opposed to now with your next adventurer.
ANYWAY
Never step foot on roads. They are the -- I believe this is the non-spoilerific term -- circus of adventure mode. Bandits like to patrol the roads, human, goblin, and kobold alike. This time, it starts earlier than this.
I went to go kill some bandits. No problem until one cuts my hand off.
Luke, I am your father!
Slightly bummed, I see my hand on the ground and throw it in my pack. Later, I sleep on a road. Kobolds show up. I decide to actually kill them. My <<iron rapier>> is super effective, and eventually I find myself in an advantageous position against the last spearman.
I pulled my hand out of my sack and whack him in the head, caving in his skull and killing him instantly.
I like to imagine that as the kobold dueled with my crossbowman, I pulled the hand out, curled the fingers into a fist, and pretended to Falcon Punch him.
I gotta draw this later.

I fought one horse untill it fainted while he was unconscious I bit him in the tongue, ripped it out by shaking it and then I left it to bleed to death.
The other horse fled when I tried to attack it, so I threw the tongue of his dead buddy and broke his leg with it. Then I stabbed him in the head and left.

I was ambushed while traveling by about 30 humans. One was an Axelord. After rumbling with him for a good minute, I managed to get ahold of his axe and tear it out of his hands. Then that happened.

Another time, I was playing an assassin-style character and assassinating every Elven noble in the world. I found the queen of one of their civilizations and snuck up behind her. That happened. I stayed behind just long enough to make sure she bled to death.

- I once made a Spartan type adventurer, maxed out spear, shield and wrestling skill, maxed out physical perks as well, eventually I decided to try and kill the demon lawgiver of a civ. The thing was massive, had deadly dust, and locked me in a useless grip which still prevented me from dodging. I blocked every single attack it threw, including the deadly dust. After a thousand stabs, it finally died of bloodloss, because it had no real internal organs for me to destroy.
-And I have successfully fended off bogeymen with legendary wrestlers, using nothing but hand to hand combat and biting. The night doesn't seem so scary when you can bite off the hands and feet of the dwellers of the dark, leaving them to die of bloodloss.

Embedded weapons make a handy emergency arsenal, if you can take the ensuing bleeding. Saves having to hold them. Now, if only I could target myself and do it on purpose. Come to think of it, being able to target yourself would also make carrying water in Adventure mode obsolete.

So im my last fight (Dwarf Swordman with a lucky steel short sword start) go in the first quest. After recruiting some extra melee power (one hammerer and one maceman), i go in the quest to kill some bandits. After a easy fight ( my budies do some lucky hits and all my enemies give to pain ) as almost night. I see im my map a lair close to the camp ( i was not sure if sleeping in a camp make the bogey don't atack me ). So arriving in the lair, i found a Cyclops and some elf meat in the ground. So me and my buddies start the brutal atack. Goddam cyclops punches my companions in the head. I stabbed the cyclops lungs, just in time because the cyclops broken my hands. I give to pain, but i did not get killed because the cyclops stopped breathing. So now i am a proud owner of a cyclops lair =D (just to sad nothing usefull in the cave, save the elf meat [going to save that meat to use as trowning weapon])
You should've befriend the cyclops, mount him and journey to the closest elven settlement... For some throwing weapons. ;)

Enter a castle to recruit followers. Its full of goblins. In the fight they break my legs and my right arm. Shield bash the entire castle.
Imagine a dwarf crawling with a shield and beating people with it.

As far as the brutal side of things goes, I went into several elven villages as a vampire swordmaster, and proceeded to cut each and every man woman and child to ribbons, heading from village to village, until they started claiming their deaths at my hands were inevitable, as i reached up through the trees, climbed, jumped on them, cut hem in half, or even strangled them to passing out and then draining their blood. One I even cut the abdomen open of, bit the guts, latched on firmly, and then ripped out their intestinal tract with my teeth. I then spat out the intestines and threw them at someone. I was not stopped until I had amassed roughly 180 elven murders in the name of armok, at which point I finally died when bogeymen got a lucky shot in on me. (I had even been killing those en masse prior)
Also there's the time I got in a fight with a titan made of rock and won as a kobold swordsman

My first reasonably-successful character, a human axe(wo)man, wound up in a savage brawl with a human bandit boss who pretty much immediately hacked off her weapon arm. So I did the classic thing, had her drop her shield, pick up her own arm and beat him to death with it.
In the brutality section, a later character (who eventually became a zombie thrall engine of destruction) got waylaid by bogeymen in the night. Killed one, then promptly butchered it in front of its fellows, ate the heart, and then threw the skull at another, killing it instantly. This became sort of a theme with this character. XD

Just started playing Adventure mode recently, so I have limited amounts of badassery/brutality so far.
My first reasonably-successful character, a human axe(wo)man, wound up in a savage brawl with a human bandit boss who pretty much immediately hacked off her weapon arm. So I did the classic thing, had her drop her shield, pick up her own arm and beat him to death with it.
In the brutality section, a later character (who eventually became a zombie thrall engine of destruction) got waylaid by bogeymen in the night. Killed one, then promptly butchered it in front of its fellows, ate the heart, and then threw the skull at another, killing it instantly. This became sort of a theme with this character. XD
That butchering people in the middle of battle would probably be more effective against something that can actually feel fear.
As of now, it seems as if the only goal a bogeyman has in it's "life" is to chip bones.

I decided to attack one person in the village. I was a demigod, so I essentialy was filled with "they can't hurt me, too cool". A female clothier stabbing me in the skull took that feeling away. I passed out and she went elsewhere. I asked around where she was, and I knew that she was in "a cottage to the south". I searched every damn south cottage, looking at everyone person with l, and I finally found her. I walked behind her and stabbed her in the throat with my pike, slicing it open. She started crawling away pretty fast. When she went outside, I stood by the door, watching her leave a trail of blood and finally bleed out. I felt so badass.
Edit: aaand got stabbed in the foot by some of my other victims. I lost the ability to stand. I am dehydrated. Whoops.

Its not quite brutal or badass, but recently I started a shortsword dwarf specifically to hack his fortress-mates to death until the framerate got playable :) Gave him good sneaking ability too, and each dwarf I silently crept up on and hacked (from behind) in the head would get their skulls shattered and would instantly fall unconscious.. Did this to a full room of 10-15 dwarves and then methodically circled back to the first victim and started skull-stabbing them to death..
He suffered a axe to the stomach when an axedwarf with some combat experience burst through the door and magically auto-spotted my devious dwarf and hacked his intestines into macaroni.. Next dwarf-terminator I took was a mid-level skilled crossbowdwarf.. I built a ring of campfires around myself in a room full of dwarves and started blasting 'em :> Each bolt would hit, be it in the hand or foot or lower extremities or stomach, and each bolt would cause unconsciousness every single time :) So I basically tranqed the whole room, jumped out of the ring of campfires and bow-bashed all their skulls in.. until a marksdwarf burst through the door and put me out of business (by that point I had fired all my starter bolts and hadn't picked any up during the bow-bash phase to fire at him. I had a forgotten beast figurine I hurled at the marksdwarf but they dodged..)
And lastly, I had way too much fun using the jump command to propel myself into other dwarves :O When you make contact it'll skid them across the room and usually into a wall for extra damage.. Not that hitting the wall is needed when they're skidding on their own arms and exploding into gore :|

Wait no some bogeymen want world peace, others master a skill, but usually that gets unlocked for them when you attempt to talk too one also convince them to stop fighting.

the next experimental dwarf begins with Superior Endurance. my guess is he will never be tired. I recreate same conditions with 200 hydra meat and similar shield and dodge. with the slowest movement possible he walks into bandit camp where he is swarmed. many of them are legendary, unlike fairly worthless kobolds. here he never gets tired. I run a macro to check. legendary bandits collapse from exhaustion. he punches them to death and since he was never wounded beyond bruising in his whole career, I retire him.
my theory. an untouchable needs to begin with Superior Endurance as one of the big three.

Their army was on patrol outside of the town and I made short work of them, before moving into the town. Well, on the quick travel screen a bunch of parties started moving out of the town and towards the south. I followed them and went out of fast travel and there were makeshift tents and camps of all of the town's inhabitants.
They evacuated the whole town to try and get away from me!
Naturally I snuck through the tents and killed all of the goblin scum in their sleep.

After getting into a punching match I discovered that jumping into occupied spaces knocks other creatures away. So naturally my swordsdwarf turned the top of a goblin tower full of sleeping, friendly goblins into his personal bouncy-castle of gore. It was like something out a demented, surrealist remake of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Leaping like a manic monkey from every corner of the place, lopping off limbs and knocking goblins over the edge. After killing 30+ goblins outright he made his escape by fighting his way down the stairs in a more traditional way and then finishing off a few of the mangled survivors that littered the ground around the tower. So many broken bones.

Some time ago I was being no-quarter attacked by a little girl. Since I personally am not that much into infanticide I just choked her unconscious. I went on my business on the town and suddenly im dead. That girl woke up, tracked me down, and attacked me from behind.

I was wandering through a goblin capitol with two mates trying to find and liberate their children. We're stopping at every villager we found to try and get answers and limbs off of them but are having no luck... with the answers bit... lots of luck with the limbs.
We slayed many a goblin villager and guard alike. As an odd side-note... the trolls just sorta watched... they didn't seem to mind that we were slaughtering their longtime neighbors wholesale... oh well. Eventually we stumble into the throne room and we spot the goblin lord who immediately flees at the sight of 3 adventurers fully armed and coated in fresh goblin blood. Thinking that maybe the lord will know where the children are being stowed, we gave chase. We finally caught up to the Lord and quickly dispatched him after we learned he had no information of use to us, but this was a mistake...
His master was waiting in the very room that the Lord had led us too.... a feathered monkey demon that breathed fire and undulated with a power unknown. I yelled at the demon that we don't wish to fight but he looked at me and slyly said "ah good, it's spearblight, the slayer of (The Local Goblin Lord we just killed)." I began to try and turn back, I had never encountered a demon before, but there's no part of "undulating with power" that sounds like it'd be a pushover.
Before I could back out of the fight, my companions had already spotted the beast. Being too confident from their recent civilian murder-spree they turned from the slain goblin lord and moved for the demon. In a moment of true foolishness, I decided that maybe it was possible with the 3 of us. I was wrong.
As I go in to make the first strike, I go to swing my halberd for the monsters throat. Before the blow could connect, the demon simply caught my weapon mid-swing with it's bare hand and brought back it's other. It's other hand lashed out with it's menacing claws at lightning speed. I didn't stand a chance, his claws cut through my iron greaves like paper and one of my legs went flying across the room. Before I even had time to react, the demon pulled back it's hand and reformed it into a fist. He then punched me int he chest with the force of a battering ram. Almost all of my internal organs were pulped instantly and I went flying after my severed leg.
I lay there immobilized, alive just long enough to see the demon dispatch my companions. The first of the unfortunate fools never even reached the demon, being casually dispatched by the demons fire and his quest ended in a smoldering pile of ash. The other got a bit farther, only to have the demon turn on him with my very own halberd. The demon monkey took one swing and my companion was separated at the beltline. In my adventurers very last seconds of life, he saw only the back of the monkey demon as it walked away, coated in me and my companions blood and holding my precious halberd.
This whole event happened all within a few moments. My leg hadn't even landed yet before I was sent into the air. And my crispified companion got crispied before I even landed...
Long story short... do. not. underestimate. demons.

As fleshy creatures, I've torn off limbs and then butchered said limbs in the middle of conflict then ate the meat. And then I used the bones to kill the person whose limb it was.

The first I killed too quickly. The second, I pulled his ears, tongue and nose off, hacked off both of his arms, and was half way through hacking his right leg off when he bled to death.
Cursing under my breath, I went off in search of more elves to murder.
It should be known that he has very low empathy in his attributes.

It couldn't last though... :( We got to the archangel and one quick flight across the room later I knew we couldn't fight this guy, so I tried sprinting past. My goblin pal got separated from me though, he fled one way while I fled the other. Assuming he was dead I kept going on my own, eventually reaching and reading the slab. I made it back up to the archangel floor to find the corpse of goblin pal right by the stairs :( He'd fought past the archangel just to die of his wounds :'(
I got out of there with no injuries, three pale pockmarked metal shields, six pale twisted maces, a couple full sets of glowing clothing, and the true name of a demon. But I lost one really badass wingman. :'(

So after much slaughter and grinding of stats, I decided to retire a pike master adventurer. I eventually found him just sitting around a house. So, naturally, I recruited him, and eighteen other guys after a couple hours of play. When I decided to take a rest near a stream, a pack of giant dingoes attacked. Most of my men stayed and fought, two died, my great hero ran for it up the nearby hill, not sure why, and I decided, since I just finally woke up, I'd have to save everyone. I started fighting, killed all but three of the dingoes, but one just chipped a bone and I passed out. We're all going to die.
But no! My former adventurer came running down the hill, stabbed on straight in the heart, then crushed it's head in with his foot, stabbed one in the brain, got knocked down by the third, wrestled his... teeth... from the dingoes grasp, and then punched the dingoes head, the body part exploding in gore! This guy, who I swore I was going to kill once I found him, for cowardice, just saved all of us, minus the two crossbowmen nobody liked since they ran out of bolts. Man, I hate giant dingoes, but that guy disposed of three faster than me and two lashers did. Each dingo took me a few hits to kill, even when they were distracted, and he used a max of two hits.

I'm now planning to have a steady diet of them. After I retire, how will I supply myself with their meat?
Also made a note: demon meat and dragon meat seem to be awfully heavy. Demons' the most. Then dragons. Been eating their hearts at least, now sustaining myself mainly on demon and dragon meat, as my fort doesn't have my favorite meat available, and one has to try all sorts of exotics as well. Hope I get demon muscles with this meat.

Through several quests and individual discoveries, I made and army of 5 dragons, 3 hydras, 4 rocks, 2 giants, 1 etin, 3 minotaurs, 1 cyclops, and, because i decided that wasnt enough, about 20 elephants, numerous giant eagles, and a pride of lions, all turned undead.
After that, I decided to accept humans, dwarves, elves, goblins, kobalds, and animal people into my army too. I got the army to the point where i couldnt play as that charachter anymore because of slow proccesing, It was pretty awesome though. I realy enjoyed getting kings, queens, nobles and such to join my army.

On another note, since I was an axeman, there were a number of necks on the ground. I was able to injure quite a few people by throwing necks at them, and even pulverized someone's leg with it.
I also got attacked by a vampire, in which my neck and spine were both mangled. I slept it off, having only spinal tissue that was cut apart.

Was wrestling with a goblin on my unarmed-only wrestler-thrower character, and somehow went wereboar, then proceeded to rage through all twenty goblins in the town. Decided to play the part, went around killing people in their sleep. Aaaaand kind of changed back to normal just beside a miner. Somehow survived a pick the the chest.

It was 2crossbowmen 2 axe men and a lasher
We went to a town that just so happened to be being attacked by goblins at night so we helped take care of that, went and spent the night in a persons house and the next morning there were more goblins attacking but there was also a bunch of town militia fighting them so my group got involved and took out several gobbos then I accidentaly killed one of the guards so the whole town started attacking us
Had a fun time pillaging that town though both the Crossbowmen died
We made it out ok and I had 38 kills under my belt
After that I got ambushed and both of my axe men were killed before I could do anything
Then I got hit in the head and died
All in all that was a good fun for me

Decided to play Dwarf Surgeon Simulator. That farmer over there? Looks like he's in need of a quadruple amputation.
After judicious use ofa sleeper holdanesthetic, I started with the left leg, to ensure the patient didn't attempt to fleehis own housethe OR before the surgery was done. Waited outside for a bit for the bleeding to stop, then I went back in. Unfortunately there was some type of misunderstanding with the patient, he attempted to stab me. The knife was confiscated, along with the arm holding it. A bit of time for post-op recovery, and I proceeded to amputate the other two limbs with my surgical halberd. The patient displayed remarkable mobility following his quadruple limbectomy, so I administered a procedure of aggressive chiropractic treatment centering on the spine to ensure he remained withinhis own blood and teeth covered homethe ICU for observation.
I didn't want the patient to experience the miasma of his own limbs, so I then gathered them all up and put them on top of a nearby tree.
Surprisingly 'Torso McGee' is still alive, exactly where I left him (as is to be expected).

Edit: A recent badass move of mine would be somehow rallying a village against a hydra. Sure, a lot of children, a priest, and a cat died, but it was a group effort. I'd just started my life as an adventurer, when I walked right into a hydra lair. I simply ran and ran in the opposite direction, but it followed. Once I reached people, they scattered. Then, a miner walked up, drew his pick, and swung at a head. A bolt from a hunter got stuck in a neck. A priest charged through and started stabbing. By twenty turns later, this had turned into me and half this village fighting against and killing a hydra. We killed it, but some punching children, a priest, and some unlucky cat were all killed. This was the first time I'd seen celebrating npc's. "That is fantastic!" about how the miner killed the hydra.

Bags and backpacks are far more effective than waterskins. You can fill your backpack with snow and then melt it. I did it recently and got 34 water :D

-Weee, bandit Zolak Randomname is harassing our hamlet!
I got two companions speardwarf and swordgoblin, we came to an abandoned hamlet, where bandits were hiding. By night, our trio stormed into the houses, butchering sleepy thugs. Fencing, kicking random guys in stomach so they retch, I got hit with a knife to the face (pretty scar, yay), then I saw the ringleader Zolak, whom I was hunting. He tried to escape, but I ran after him in the dark. After a shirt purge, I tried to throw my spear. And it worked, despite my throwing skill was low, chipped his leg. I chopped his head as a trophy, went back to find my battle mates. They have finished the rest, now the village was empty. After a short rest, we went back to report that the bandits are dead.
So, that's how they responded:
-I slew Zolak!
-It was inevitable.
-Any troubles?
-Bandit Zolak is harassing our hamlet!
-Tell me about Zolak.
-Zolak is dead.
-What do you think about me?
-You are killer. You are also unhinged. You have perpetrated a violent attack upon Zolak.

I was at war with elves, so I decided to retire my fortress (when there was a hill titan hanging out at the edge of the map), went there and grabbed an axe. Went to the elven capital, waited til night attacked the market place. The axe had 107 kills when I was done. Went back to the fortress and killed the hill titan. Then went to sleep right outside the fortress and got killed by Dingos... -sigh-
So, the second adventurer, I asked about beasts, and found out that there was a lot of shrines up in north western corner. Like the edge of the world. Far across the tundra, had to travel several days across the tundra. So I trained that dwarf for a couple of days and get a lot of equipment, like barrels of water, and some companions. Then I managed to find the very same battle axe again! Not that hard since I know where the first adventurer was killed. Then I set out for the most well planned and longest trip I had ever undertaken in Dwarf Fortress. It took me seven in game days to reach the tundra and another three days to cross the tundra. When I arrived I managed to find ~10 shrines. Decided to start killing. The first Titan I found was a mountain titan, decided to attack it.... without thinking too much that it was fire-breathing... My companions decided to run away. But I managed to kill the titan, but was burning. I did not manage to save myself from the fire, so I died shortly after killing the titan, but the battle axe got one more kill.
It felt great to do such a great trip in Adventure mode, would be awesome if I made it back home. Next Adventurer I make shall go there and bring home the axe.... And of course add some kills the the axes kill-list.

I think that's good enough for one day, 2 Titan's dead after all, so we head south to the Human capital, but before we can fast travel, a Titan cuts us off. I look at the beast, a giant hulking beast (some type of dinosaur with massive jaws) made of solid steel. I refuse to abandon any companions, so the battle begins.
For 15 minutes in real life, we fight. He bites, wrestles, and rips apart all of my companions one by one, except for Ucib who was holding back as the archer. When they are dead, he starts bearing down on me. He breathes poisonous gas in my face while also biting at me, but I somehow continue to avoid each hit by the closest margin. His skull is too thick to break through with my bronze war hammer, so I continuously pound his upper body, until I manage to break ribs inward, bruise and shatter lungs, and virtually destroy it. This goes on for another 15 minutes, until the inevitable happens, my character is over-exerted. He falls to the ground, dehydrated, starving, and too tired to fight. All he can do is roll out of the way and block attacks with his shield; to strike back would take too much strength. After a few in-game hours of his desperation, he gains the strength to strike one more time, shattering the beast's true ribs through the lung and breaking the lung! My spirits raise, for I think I've won, but the beast continues to attack unaffected, my character is so tired that he can only roll around now. Then, the beast breaths out its poison gas, causing my adventurer to roll away, and I watch the beast sputter. That poisonous breath was his last.
Hill Titan has suffocated
I pick myself off the floor and look around me. A ring of my dead soldiers corpses surrounds me. I look at myself and find I'm miraculously unharmed. Then, sifting through the death for provisions, I stumble across Ucib's crushed and mangled body. I need more soldiers if I'm going to rescue her children.
I scrounge up some food, melt some snow, and butcher the Titan's corpse so that people will believe the story. Lugging the giant skull across the tundra, I come to the capital, walk into the castle, throw it right in front of the Lord and tell him that I've slain the beast.
"It was inevitable," he says.

One wrestler woke up, and a battle ensued. I stabbed him, and my spear was stuck in him. So I kicked and punched him, and I hit him in the throat with my iron shield. This rendered his throat into a "unrecognizable" mass of flesh. I told him to surrender, and he did. Then he choked on his own blood.
I felt REALLY messed up after I did all that. Even though they were bandits.

I started off in a town that was being attacked by an army. I left town with the lord consort and a hammerman, and found a set of asterisks outside town. Aha! I thought. The military! So I slaughtered the entire camp in their sleep, and the same for the other asterisks. Eventually I died after accidentally hitting the lord consort and failing to block his attack at my head, so I died instantly. Looking back at the Legends, it turned out I had slaughtered the refugees from the city. All of them. In their sleep. Even the children.
Of course, I just laughed my head off after spending a moment of silence for the poor buggers.

I abused fast travel's hability to stop the bleeding of NPCs. So that they heal from their wounds.
Using that I removed everything that could be removed from one NPC, which I called my test subject
I did cut/remove :
- his lower/upper arms and legs.
- his ears
- his nose
- his guts
- his tongue
I smashed all his teeths.
I stabbed all his organs so they appear blue in wound screen :
- liver
- heart
- one lung (two would mean death)
- stomach
- spleen
- pancreas
- kidney
Not to forget that I left him nice huge scars, to the throat especially.
At the end, he was fine.
Blind, mute, completely mutilated and literally gutless... But alive ! (and legendary fighter \m/ )
I think I then bit him as a were-creature to make him heal fully.

I've done plenty of dismemberment and joint breaking spams, but the more interesting cruelty I did was knock a Bandit into a river, hold a conversation with them, and brag about improving my swimming as they drowned.
That's hilarious. Videogame characters are OK to be cruel to, too.
