We need at least half a dozen or so sign ups. The more players, the more fun the game will be.

Hmm, I thought it's only popular in Russia. It's not well suited for forums, because you need to see and hear a person to properly guess their motives.

I've played it a lot, too.  But yeah, I can't imagine it working too well over a forum...  a lot of the fun is having everyone shouting and yelling and arguing while trying to figure out who is what.

ive played it over forums before, there is a big mafia playing forum community at mafiascum

so thats 2 people now (i dont count as im the narrator and therefore dont take a part in the game, except for saying who is who(ie whos mafia/townsfolk) and for saying who has died)...

our 3rd player.

The different types of character will be as follows:

Mafia

Townspeople

Bodyguard

Village idiot

And Judge

They are divided into teams as follow:

team1= Mafia

Team2=Townsfolk, Village idiot, bodyguard

Judge can be on either side (s/he will be assigned a role like "corrupt Judge2 (meaning hes mafia) or "honest judge") If he is mafia he gets all the bonuses of being a mafia except for the fact that he cant vote for the nightly murder.

One big rule with this is that you must RP.

Bodyguard works like a doc I assume (protects a chosen person from being nightkilled, aside from themself)
