OK, then, the very first prepared meal I made this version, after letting a couple dwarves run wild as untrained herbalists:
If this thing had been made when I had actual skilled dwarves for masterwork mincing and stacks of more than 1 food each, it would have been worth at least a million DBs... Activate Titan attacks in the first Summer, anyone?
Blueberries, actually. Here's my take:
Massive image - (http://i.imgur.com/Ssx9UJl.png)
There was a terrible bit where the pad wouldn't draw where I put my fingers for a while, but it sorted itself out in the end... imgur via pad is also hard, the drawbacks almost outweigh the technical power it provides, but not quite... sorry for large image.
Whaddya think?
EDIT: those are meant to be kebab sticks, and the quill is decorative. I guess I imagined a bit more cabbage than you two, or probably the dwarves :P
Ok, I did it! Here it is!
For some reason, the colours are greyer than on my tablet... dodgy upload, perhaps, though it doesn't matter that much... Wasn't really sure how to draw intestines, as there were many different results, so I kinda made something up based on the images on google. Didn't quite capture the colour of capers, but didn't expect to. Couldn't add more detail due to fatigue.
It's a different interpretation, you can see the capers and bayberries mashed beneath the everything else.
There you go. I didn't feel like making a dwarf to inspect, comment on, or eat it.
All I have to say is:
Booze as soup stock was the best idea ever.
Also, those are awfully large cherries.
Well, to keep the well from running dry, I've been getting a lot of roasts like this, lately:
+Guinea hen egg+
*Turkey hen egg*
-Blue peafowl meat-
*Hen egg*
or
+Quarry bush leaf+
*Giant Tortoise meat*
+Hen egg+
-Turkey hen egg-
I'm guessing my cook REALLY likes omelettes, because I'm sitting on over a thousand plants which are running out of seeds rapidly.
(And yes, I have a *hen egg roast [45]* consisting entirely of eggs from four different types of bird. I presume the cook just started making scrambled eggs, and never stopped.)
For the record, I embarked with the turkeys and guineahen (one of my Starting Seven - the one I chose to be mayor - liked them) and just got the chickens and peacocks as migrant pets or from caravans. (I also have a goose and two drakes. My dwarves REALLY like birds. But no cats, my overworked lone cat has yet to adopt a dwarf.)
This took me far longer than I'm comfortable with. It's the damned hand!
Anyway... Mound of scrambled egg atop a grilled turtle steak. Turtle meat looked quite slimy and soft. So It has that kind of look to it.
Hey, I found a picture of your kitchen!
So I went through my stocks screen, and it turns out, with the exception of a couple stragglers held by my military, all my remaining prepared foods are made of eggs. (I've made limited prepared meals to keep wealth down.)
The oat flour roast has egg in it.
The three (older) biscuits have leaves in them, and of the roasts, 4 are all egg, and 7 have only one ingredient that is not egg. (Mostly tallow or meat.)
I feel like it's a Monty Python skit at this point.
Old woman dwarf: "What do you have here?"
Cook: "Well, we have the turkey egg roast with turkey meat, quarry bush leaf, bayberry, and turkey hen eggs. Or, there's the hen egg roast with persimmon, tortoise spleen, plump helmets, and hen eggs. Then there's the OTHER hen egg roast with tortoise tallow, turkey hen egg, chicken hen egg, and more turkey hen egg."
Old woman dwarf: "Do you have anything without eggs in it?"
Cook: "Well, how about trying the oat flour roast? It has hen eggs, a leaf, a berry, eggs, another berry, eggs, and some oat flour!"
Old woman dwarf: "That has eggs in it!"
Cook: "No it doesn't."
Old woman dwarf: "Yes it does, you said it three times!"
Cook: "Well, how about the turkey hen egg roast? It has eggs, eggs, eggs, tortoise lung, eggs, eggs, eggs, and eggs."
Ok, I have one. An exquisite Yeti Heart Roast.
Yeti Heart
Yeti Meat
Dwarven Syrup
Whipvine Flour
I see a breaded Yeti heart. The flour and syrup are mixed, made into a batter. and the meat dipped into it.
I made this and I'm NOT SORRY.
...It's like Aunt Jemima, but with dwarves.

Sorry it took me so long. I included Insert_Gnome_Here's post.
Tada!
Breaded Olm with a side of Endive chips. Lard is a condiment and frying base.
"UFO"? Urist Fried Olm, I know, but I can't help but think of other meanings...
Like, "undigestible food object"
So a giant black mamba heart, some camel cheese and some giant olm tripe.
I imagine the chef melting the cheese, then coating both the tripe and the mamba heart in it and deep frying both ingredients. With the leftover cheese you make a simple dipping sauce, and finally serve as an appetizer.

Made in Paint (but you already knew that) and with a mouse, hehe. It could probably use a background color other than matrix-white.
one-eyed brute meat x4
FOUR WHOLE ROAST DEMONS
Also I see a quote of mine in Salmeuk's sig, nice to be appreciated.
Just for visualization of that, that meat stack is over twelve times the mass of your standard dwarf. Volume-wise, meat is a little heavier than organs, but still should be similarly huge, as you obviously have more meat than organs.

This one was hacked out in 10 minutes. Either way. I wasn't given alot of detail.
Unless whip vine flour is significantly different. I don't think I need to draw this one.
Well, perhaps, a tame recipe'll do? Ingredients include a nautilus, some apples, and a little onion. (Why am I imagining the nautilus with its minced head wearing the minced apple as a makeshift beard?)

I am the Picasso of Post-its.
Aaah. Started wrong on the nautilius, and can't draw goddamn sliced onions. Went about this all wrong. Meant to be a cross section of a nautilius, with "light" dwarven seasonings scattered on. Because obviously a cook would make this by chopping the nautilius in half horizontally then throwing stuff on it.

And here it is! A trade depot in Silentthunders, if that's Whisper's fort:
Pretty unsure how to draw dwarven or elvish women. Also, tablet can't get very high detail level, though the faces weren't great to begin with.
I've came across this while playing my turn in Murderflood.
I like to think the dwarves have just discovered minced ground black pepper.
Crundle tallow roast
ingredients: Crundle intestine, Crundle meat, apricot, & Crundle tallow.
Get cooken before i send ya to dwarven child care!! >:( !!
You might want to calm down there friend.

How about this? Probably a salad, garnished with fisher berries and muskmelon.
Sorry about the wait.
The crundle roast is a Salami made from the intestines, meat and lard. With an accompaniment of apricot jam.
The fisher berry roast is a bowl of salad with fisher berries and muskmelon pieces in it. I imagined fisher berries would look a little like white Manitoban dogwood berries.
After nine minutes in development, hopefully, It will have been worth the wait.

This is how I imagine Flame's hell to be.

Inspiration
Okay, finally done flame's.
Just wanted to draw a buncha demons getting roasted.

I can't imagine even dwarves eating this, except maybe as a dare when the party has already went on too long:
This is a stack of 23 exceptional prepared prepared giant louse intestines roast. The ingredients are exceptionally minced elk bird tallow, exceptionally minced chopped rutherer liver, exceptionally minced leech meat and exceptionally minced prepared giant louse intestines.
Speaking of which, I think I've found the dwarven morning after remedy:
This is a stack of 48 exceptional prepared dwarven wine roast. The ingredients are superiorly minced giant python egg, exceptionally minced dwarven wine, exceptionally minced dwarven wine and exceptionally minced dwarven wine.

Looking back on this, it's kind of hard to distinguish between his Armor and the liver bits...
Two for one. It's amazing what a single hyphen can do to a phrase's meaning.

Who in hell mixes Onion and garlic into a perfectly good fruit salad?
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. Little hard to read, took about 10m.

My greatest apologies for necroing this, but I have an interesting prepared meal.
A giant beetle meat roast with the following other ingredients:
Dwarven cheese
Sewer brew
Ya think you can draw that?
This was one of my favorite art threads back when. Maybe start another one?
Ok so I immediately thought of:
But then I realized that post-it art is best art, so:

I'm not sure I see the merit in making another thread just to continue this one, but okay. In the meantime ...

This is less than half of it. Each roast is valued at 1223☼

When you put it that way it does seem silly to make a new thread. I made one but I'm gonna just leave it be.
Here have some (very quick) egg art.

The most royal of egg-salads.
