Okay, gonna try this and probably fail.

This is a variation of RtD which uses a d13 instead of a d6, basically, you want 7, as that's the perfect balance between failure and success.
Getting 1 is catastrophically bad (the gun explodes, killing you) and 13 is catastrophically good (the gun explodes, killing the enemy). Both critical scenarios leaves you disarmed.

You're a group of soldiers sent out to investigate a jungle where mysterious things have been happening. This also isn't a completely modern setting, so you may find yourself limited.
Try not to get too attached to your characters, they might die. Also, there's no limit on how much HP you can give your character.
You could give them 10 000 HP for all I care (warning, having too much HP might ironically kill your character).

Appearance: A very muscular man with a scar above one eye and short stubble.

Skills: Loose cannon: bonus to actions that are reckless or against orders.

Loadout
Weapon: Water cooled machine gun
Ammo: Machine gun belt
Attire: Uniform, shades, bandana
Supplies: Flashlight, cigarettes, lighter, gun cleaning kit.
Personal Effects: Pocketwatch, plastic fork.

Bio: "Trigger" is a loose cannon who doesn't play by the rules, but he gets the job done. He was born knowing everything about guerilla warfare, he once took down an enemy fighter plane with a plastic fork, he owns an orphanage for orphaned tigers, and his chest hair can cure blindness.

Well, I guess it's always useful to have eating utensils.
Oh and if you're thinking of other useful supplies to bring (crackers, condoms, eating utensils, etc.) that aren't listed, you can add them to supplies.

The grid really helps in making spaces. If it hadn't rendered it, I would never be satisfied with the size of the vehicles. And the shape of the terrain would've taken much much longer to do.
It's hard to make both sides as big without copy-pasting, and even then, it's hard to get it straight.
I love the grid.

Well, you'll be included in the next update. But there's a choice of people to take control of.
There's the 2 wounded (8 damage) in the right tent, the 2 wounded (8 damage) in the left tent.
And the healthy one in the left tent.

There's also the driver in the leader's tent.

Eh, more of a +/- 1 away from 7, making perfect hits impossible, and making collateral damage quite big.
They're made for trench clearing, not sharp shooting.

Though you have 5 soldiers you can take control of (2 left tent 8 damage, 1 left tent 0 damage, 1 right tent 8 damage, and 1 leader tent 0 damage (driver)).

This isn't a problem of keeping the point in the right direction, it's the inherent inaccuracy of the short barrel.
The rifle has a barrel length of 740 mm, the SMG has a barrel length of 200 mm, the SMG just isn't accurate.
The machine gun on the other hand, that's just way too unwieldy to even aim.
