Title: New to Dwarf Fortess

Im new at Dwarf Fortress, an di was wondering if some guys could help me out/give me suggestions on wat to do and how to start. Ty

Welcome to the Dwarf Fortress community (actually it's more like a cult)!

I highly recommend starting here: www.dwarffortresswiki.net
DF may seem daunting at first, but you'll learn, and it's well worth it!

Check out the Indecisive's illustrated fortress mode tutorial and anything else under "New to dwarf fortress", on the Wiki. And for any specific questions, ask on the forum.

I personally would not reccomend using the wiki, ingame if you press ? it will bring up a help menu. I had the most fun of all learning how the play the game, and only referenced the wiki after i had a fairly successful fort, but to each his own
