Title: reveal.exe....revealed?

hello. my fist post, so please be gentle lol. anyway ive been playing DF for about a week now and i keep hearing all about reveal.exe, yet every attempt to find it ends in vain. could someone please be kind enough to lead me in the right direction? sorry if this is in the wrong forum

Reveal got deleted from the wiki? That was pretty much the first utility (along with some others) made for DF.. That's a shame.

Well, it would be better off in the gameplay questions forum, to be honest.  Not that it really matters all that much, mind you.  Just something to remember for next time.


Anyways, reveal.exe became somewhat obsolete after Rick (all hail the glorious creator) compiled it together with a few of his other utilities into a program called "Tweak".

I didn't see a how-to guide, so here's how it works:  load up DF, run Tweak, click on the magnifying glass button, say 'yes', and then pick what utility you want to use from the list.

F.Y.I. Tweak needs a recent version of .NET for windows, so Macs and Winers will probably run into trouble.

thank you very much guys. ill probably have questions on tweak, but next time ill post in the right forum >.<

dont have to worry about .net, im running XP.

this is such a great game! so many possibilities, all of the outcomes humorous! i wish i would have found this game before i deployed though D'oH!

SOunds like the mayor needs his own personal well.
