I was trying to set up a farm in a glacier map, so I collapsed a couple layers of ice down onto my underground farm room. The result, however, was a floorless room filled with water. The level below the floorless section was also revealed, and is a solid wall of unmined rock. Perhaps the collapse replaced the floor with an ice floor which then promptly melted? In any case, this is probably not the desired behavior.
