How the heck do you find a Trying to get my adventurer a , because I don't feel like making a fortress that's successful enough to get adamantine purely for my adventurer to get a cool sword.
I've asked the goblins in a dark fortress about the surrounding area, but most of them just say "Ask me when I've returned to my home!" even when they're in their house and the ones who don't tell me about nearby human or dwarven settlements.
I'm honestly not even opposed to looking at the coordinates, but I have no idea how to see the coordinates of a tile when I look at the embark map in Fortress Mode, and I don't think you can find the coordinates in the Adventure Mode map.

If you really don't mind just looking at a map to find it, export legends, load in Legends Viewer. That should help.

Doing it legit vanilla is alot of effort on a large world.
By the by not many people actually care about spoilers, they are easily accesed via legends viewer and the game has been around for a long long time, the candy and clown references are from a bygone era. We all know what demons and angels are, we all know about adamantium.
Sorry my evil opinion. Last time I found a vault i bumped into one with a throwaway cha/world

The only one i ran into without looking first in the legends export for the coordinates was located right next to a hamlet i was visiting, i found funny none of the hamlet dwellers knew that huge obvious structure was there.

Export legends, open it in Legends Viewer, find a vault, look at what map time it's on, go there with your adventurer, walk back and forth until you find it, go in, don't die.

I look it up in legends viewer myself.
