How lovely it is when your hungry and thirsty and you find out your water is frozen, you climb down from your slumber tree and you see a bunch of 'fat' dingos hanging out below your crew. I climbed back up but while I was doing that I got latched by its jaws, just got bruises though. Should I risk waiting out for the night with frozen water and not really any eatable food? I've traveled a long way... it seemed.

good thing you can make campfires anywhere and then "I"nteract the object containing the water and unfreeze it (or melt it if you fill it with snow) huh

But im on a tree..*sniffles*

You are also stalked by dingos so you probably will get the "you don't feel safe enough to make a campfire" message I say kill them also what food do you have on you?
I have never tried making a campfire in a tree but press g then scroll to the bottom you should have the option to "make a campfire"

Pick leaves or fruit from the tree and throw it at em.

i usually just use a lasher as my adventuerer, then carry around a bunch of corpses to throw

I recently saw a thread in which an adventurer shot and killed an enemy by throwing a strawberry at its head.
Throw anything you have, including your clothes. You can always pick them up later.

What threat level are they currently set to? If it's just "encounter", you could try attacking them unarmed with punches (no kicks, bites, or scratches) or wrestling holds (but only grabs and takedowns; no locks, chokeholds, pinching, or tossing), which would set them down to "brawl" or "non-lethal". You'd just need to let yourself get prone, and crawl away. They should stop bothering you from there.
Otherwise, throw stuff, as has been mentioned.

Well what I did was just simple, I guess. I attempted too throw a dead bird at one of them, climbed to a far tree from the treetops, hoping that I could sleep, and I started a fire on one of the twigs and heated the water which worked out fine. The meat I had was Goblin meat so i couldn't eat it... sadly. I think I just climbed far away to where I could sleep and they eventually left. This adventure is still going... I've already been attacked by Lions and Dingo men in the savanna's just in an attempt to get to a Goblin camp thats causing trouble for people. One of the ear is mangled and a few other parts are pretty bad...I don't think I can stand. It's been a long journey, and one adventure! I attacked a Lion eventually we were wrestling, (It was the last lion from a pack) I was attacking it with a Copper knife or something, eventually it turned into me biting its throat like a savage and jerking it side to side in an attempt to tear it. I eventually survived.

How do I check there threat level?
When you go to attack something it and the menu pops up saying to choose who are going to attack is should say something like
Lethal:Dingo
or
Non-Lethal:Dingo

Oh, thank you so that's what that means.

it could also say no quarter. nonlethal fighting with dingos has never happened to me..very aggressive creatures.
