Title: Streaming some Adventure Mode
Post by: ZM5 on March 28, 2016, 03:12:30 pm
Hey guys, I'm gonna be streaming some adventure mode for around 2 and a half hours, with mods present. Join chat if you have a twitch account.

I apologize beforehand for the somewhat crap quality, unfortunately my PC isn't really that great, but I still wanted to stream this atleast once.

I like having twitch on my 2nd monitor when I play.  Unforunately, I'm still at work and wont be on until 4 more hours.
I usually search twitch for anything DF between 6pm-12am PST.

Well, done for today, gonna stream more soon - honestly this was more of a test stream.

Gonna try to stream in better hours next time so more people can watch.

Yeah, I would've watched it. :( But then again the only thing that's crap on my end is the connection and not the computer (can run all the new releases), I can never watch twitch streams smoothly which sometimes is a big bummer. Reason why I sometimes download youtube videos to watch them smoothly in much higher quality.

To be fair, I can't really stream in ultra-high crystal-clear HD, my CPU is pretty crap - good enough for playing the game, but for streaming while playing it's a bit crappy - still, atleast in DF I suppose it doesn't matter that much since I can read the combat logs and such.

Don't know when will be the next time I stream but I'll be sure to update the thread or post in the "what's going on in your adventure" thread along with the subreddit.

Aye, understood! Watching low-quality twitch stuff is less of a pain anyway in terms of buffering. :)
