So... I just went on a smoothing and engraving spree and kind of smoothed over all my farms. Needless to say, this has not done my food supply any good. So, is there a way to fix this easily or am I going to have to make some more way out of the way? I'm on a glacier so water is in limited supply, and difficult to move around.

You're gonna have to start from scratch, I'm afraid.

Just re-irrigate a stone area. How did you set them up in the first place, anyway?

I collapsed the roof down so that some of the ice fell in a subterranean area, and the rest covered it up so it remained subterranean, and the ice melted. Unfortunately the ice near my main base is thoroughly cratered, so I'll have to be setting up farms farther away. I guess it's not like I don't have enough loitering peasants to deal with the extra hauling though.
