People are welcome to join at any time.

WHAT ZL IS TO ME
Zen, firstly is deliberate, delightful, and insightful design in anything. It is a kind of playful ambient math that brings up feelings of prosperity and abundance. And it can seep into all things. See any images on zen gardens walkways and structures to know what I'm talking about. Much in the way of thinking of feng shui where flow happens.

So Zenland is a place where this insight is built right into the soil. Naturally peaceful and meditative but also playful. My visualization or a metaphor for this game would be a sand garden, like someone might have on a desk with rocks and a rake. ZL is lifeless and peaceful when undisturbed. Yet the elements give a new feeling when played with and interaction creates ripples echoing what was done.

Conflict and challenge will present itself as you try to delve deeper and explore your new world. It will react to your activities. The risks you take, the focuses you pursue. It is a deeply satisfying and fascinating forum game for me to be hosting for you. Please enjoy.

        ,-{RED}---| |
[BLACK}-|-{GREEN}-| |-{WHITE]
        |-{BLUE}--' |
        |-----«-----|
        '-{GREY}----'

There are three branches of magic in ZL: red, green, and blue. It would be a fair analogy to compare them to earth, nature, and water. As an immortal magi, or mage you can perform miracles of all types.

You begin as a Black Mage, magnitude 1(√1). While your power is low you're still immune to harmful spells. This gives you time to find your footing. As you successfully cast spells you will accumulate color. Your class will change automatically when you meet the requirements.

A specific mechanic you will be required to do, to track your stats is use the rgb color font code. For example,

[glow=black,2,300]Aloha![/glow]

Aloha!

If you cast the red spell lift, and it succeeds, you add 15 red to your font when posting your next turn.

That's really all you need to know to get started. Flip through the Spell Book and find a spell you like. When you're ready....  choose anywhere to begin!

This sounds interesting. One thing though - the map seems to be blank, apart from the name. Is this intentional?

Flatten fails. It is already as flat as it can be! And you cannot use epic green spells yet.

CLASS SHIFT: GREEN MAGE

You will now be known as S34N1C the Green, and will gain green from any spell. Instead, you may choose to gain a spell's regular color when casting. This is auto-green, which is set to [ON], if you wish you can turn it off if you want to get a spell's regular color by default.

You can now use Epic green spells, which work a.. little differently and are effected by magnitude. You now will be given more leniency with how you form things as they may cover far more area. However these spells are far more picky... the more you wish to accomplish the more helper minions, color sacrifice, and or total color in that art you should have, lest things go bad...
There will also be tricks to use the environment to your advantage, here's some hints: see how the weather effects them and distance from water. (epic spell rolls will be hidden!)

Gently cast sink around the golems.

#15
( 2 3 4) With finess you lower the ground just a little. Unfortunately they sink just as far. Luckily the pits are not too deep. One seems to have been just to the side of the center, allowing an arm to come free. Eventually xe may be able to get free now. (Though you didn't command them to try.)

light rain

Try again to cast Lift on the southern edge of the East Hill.
(please add the rgb to your fon't, last reminder)

#18
(10) The ground trembles then swirls around you so fast that in an instant you are in darkess.

You are now inside your- larger- hill. +15 red

Command the root golem to try to free itself. Also, cast sow around the island.
(assuming by around you mean... all about and upon the island in various places, not in-a-circle-around-the-island.)

BANNER 1: DIG UP THE ROOT GOLEM

Your root golem begins digging itself out with it's free arm, the clay golems just wiggle side to side. You get on your knees and scoup away dirt. The rain(and recent plunge) mean the ground is moist, and easier to move. Together you get him down to his waist... and then. Pop, pop, he pulls himself out!

#19
( 7) A very successful cast without any help. The island is now quite forested. Your banner is immersed in the trees' shade. +15 green

Cast  Sprout.

√:1

Trees spring up a little bit around the area, creating the hint of a fledgling forest. +15 green

Your golem is recharged.

Cast golem.

#20
( 4) Two clay golems walk to land. Then they melt. +15 red

For a second I was thinking you guys couldn't see the comics I was drawing. And that would make me sad. But if that was true that would mean you couldn't see the maps. And to have so many players when something like that was broken would be pretty amazing. So I guess either way it's pretty great.

Of course you could just leave it up to the color to subtly show your stat gain, if you are ok with quoting/modifying your past post for the next update. The choice is yours.

Some changes

Your spells will become severely less powerful further away from your landmark. Or worded differently, they are stronger near your landmark. Starting now: you must have a landmark to cast epic spells at all.

cast Landmark on my island. Which is obviously far superior to the other donut and definitely not a copy.

EDIT - having read the new stuff (I love how it's evolving over time!), I think there's an error in the magnitude limit thing - I'm listed as what I assume is 100 affinity, yet have only 60 (and thus should be in band #2 if I'm reading this right?) And do I get a bonus next roll if it is an error? :)
As an aside, how do you get the square root sign?

cast Landmark on my island. Which is obviously far superior to the other donut and definitely not a copy.

"My Island" is it? I'll assume so.

Edit: As to your edit yes but I think you are at 75 now, between where we both have it. (I included the extra 15 for the color you gained this turn BUT you didn't)

Magnitude applies to epic spells. Similar to an earthquake each higher number is far larger than the number before it(x2).  Proclaim is acting like an epic spell because if it was an actual epic spell that would mean only green mages could use it.

I've decided I will give you a bonus.

A note about morphing in general, you typically want to say what their disadvantages are too. However since what you want is fairly straightforward and is probably paid for by them losing the ability to morph, you don't really need to worry about it.

Lift won't be able to work that way. You would need to either expand the underground water cavity to store more water(which the sink spell is not flexible enough for, as minor spells are fairly basic), or you need to make the water hotter somehow. The epic blue spell Erode is flexible enough to form a larger water cavity(and since it's below sea level it will be filled).

Wikipedia (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geyser)
"...the geyser effect is due to the proximity of magma. Generally, surface water works its way down to an average depth of around 2,000 metres (6,600 ft) where it contacts hot rocks. The resultant boiling of the pressurized water results in the geyser effect of hot water and steam spraying out of the geyser's surface vent (a hydrothermal explosion)."

I assumed that since the geyser was continuous that it just worked by magic. My bad.  :(

Could I try casting a localized shine underground? Could I sacrifice some amount of blue into my sink spell to make it more flexible that way? Maybe I could sacrifice some blue into a lift spell to raise sea level in that specific area?  If none of these are viable solutions then just lift the land around my geyser. Command my digger golems to begin digging a river towards the south from my geyser.

[[ It all comes down to what is more fun. An infinite magical geyser or the ability to learn about real geysers. I think a little bit of science doesn't hurt, if it invites interesting puzzles, strategies, and challenges :>

It also came down to the fact that I've already Incorporated groundwater into the map so that kind of train of thought is already part of the game. In fact it's the groundwater you're seeing is the shape under the geyser. There's also the cave chamber/cavity that Eritzap is currently trapped in that can be seen. ]]

What would you like to do helmacon? Choose. I won't walk through every "what if" because that takes the experimentation out of it but I will warn you it is very possible you will permanently destroy your geyser depending on what you choose to do. And I will tell you some basic information that I feel is relevant.

Shine is a weather spell not specifically related to heating air spontaneously but from sunlight.

Sacrifice 'amplifies' spells, makes them bigger, generally losing control.

Using a different color than a spell for a sacrifice does have a chance of doing some strange things but it is very related to what you end up rolling.

I will let you make a decision before updating your move and I'm going to move on to the next person shortly. (I will do yours next as soon as you decide).

((Sorry for the late response. Christmas eve and all..))

let's go with realistic geyser. more potential that way.

sink the land around my geyser, so as to create a sort of donut island with the geyser in the middle, the pool being created by the run off from the geyser. Order my digger gollum's to begin digging a trench to the south that will act as a sort of riverbed going out from my geyser pool. Also, how often does my geyser erupt? and for how long?

Congratulate Sulphur and introduce him to Slate. Name the last little guy Peat.

Command Sulphur and Peat to begin digging a riverbed from the southernmost part of the lily pad pond. Don't have them connect the pond yet, I don't want them trying to dig while underwater. It should essentially be a dry meandering trench for now. Eventually they are to bring this trench to meet up with my crash crater at the southern end of the map.

Move to find this new NPC, and check my pockets to see if I had anything I could have given my poor golem. Cast tempest. The new wind direction is to the south. ((I'm hoping that the rain will soften the ground and help my digger golems.))

Red=45 Green=0 Blue=45

Looking for green spell capable Ally. Contact me or my golems.

Helmacon is a mage most peculiar. He wears wide robes of black and white motley with the hood pulled up. Underneath this hood his is a short and neatly trimmed salt and pepper beard, leading up to a face that is heavily scarred on the left side. His left eye is a dark brown, almost to black, but his right eye is ever shifting. The color is always 'his current font color'. He has shaggy brown hair, shaved on the sides. His smile is often but briefly shown, and while his teeth are jagged and uneven, they are perfectly symmetrical.

Please use the rgb code to change your font for your action. See the first post of this thread for a tutorial.

(sow is a green spell btw, though I don't enforce coloring spells. It's a player fad which is fine, as with the stat tracker you put.)

"Hello? Who cried out for help?" I will go investigate the shout. Cast   Golem  in case I need some extra muscle.

Notice how this post has a slight green tint to it it's because he's built up a lot of green energy. Yours will still be pretty black but I still want you to do it.

Yes, though you don't have 50 red because you get red in increments of 15.

So if you would edit your move to have the right color that be great.

This is probably the most tricky aspect of the game so I'll put it right here the top of the OP. Each turn you may try to cast a spell. If I tell you your spell succeeds then you gain 15 points in that spell's color(red, green, or blue). If it was a red spell you're next post would be like this:

[glow=black,2,300]
My next turn!

I'll give this a try.
Description: Wearing light robes with a hood, with some dark hair peeking out. Carrying a leatherbound tome of good quality that floats in midair at will, as well as an ever-inked quill to write with.

When (if) I get in, I have two questions. First, how do I make the spell's color red/blue/whatever color it corresponds to (i.e., make sink blue) when the text around it is already colored? Do I have to say /color and reinput the previous text color after ward, or can I just put sink in the middle of the already colored text? (hope I explained it well)
Second, by the twelve hour or whatever thing you mentioned, do you mean that I cannot put an action until 12 hours after you reply to my previous action? Sorry for the trouble, I just joined the forum.
Title: Re: ZL
Post by: RoseHeart on January 06, 2017, 12:49:25 pm
Ah. I'll start with the second one. If there's mention of 12th hour in the first post of the thread point it out to me because it shouldn't be there. That was something that was helpful early on but I've removed it from the game. If you're seeing that in the post about that's an archive of an old version of it. I like to keep those for reference. Sometimes I delete things that I decided to add back in and it's nice to have it.

As for coloring spells. Don't. Unless you want to. All I care about is that you use the RGB code with your current stats. But yes if you do choose to do it. After adding the RGB code just select the word and add a color to it. Such as blue for sink. Does that answer your questions?

Please do not cast a spell unless your initiative is 0 or higher, unless a grey spell. (If you were/are waiting on some or all of your turn to be posted, please do so again with these in mind, now)

There was no mention of color in the results of my last post. If there was no color gained than it would be mentioned (as it was in the player after me) and which color I gained ought to be specified as my "lowest color" is currently tied.
If your spell had a # by it, it worked and you gained 15 of that color. If not(3, 2, 1) no color gain. This is now going to be assumed knowledge.
Your choice on a tie. To build on this statement, spells will always give color if something PFM* happened, so unless it was a "dud". One more thing, misfire will still be a same type spell, so same color.

*pretty f'n magikal

You get more color for higher √ casts:
√1(default) 15
√2 30
√3 60
√4 120
√5 240

((Move and Commune are both grey actions and have no dependency on initiative. If you would like I could separate them into different posts for each action, but I thought it would be easier for you if I kept them consolidated. I just realised what you meant, that I have to wait for it to cycle through the turn. Just move then, thanks! PS. Since it was √2 could i split that 15 each way?))

Heads up. If anyone is waiting for actions posted before the last update, don't. Because of the new system I don't want to make assumptions on what you want to do now(though technically I did on some degree on Gwolfski and S34N1C, on the part I thought you most want).

Please post a new action if you want to do something this next update. And remember... You can use a grey action, even of you can't do a spell yet.

Edit: to clarify I'm not going to be doing itineraries "shopping lists" of actions because it gets too confusing.

You can make a task for a banner and they keep doing that task. No checklists. No multiple actions.

I apologize for being emo with my next statement but... Ocean is the first person to even imply a compliment(though criticism would also be welcome) for an avatar I've made. Is my art worthy of your guys time? I'm really starting to doubt it and I think it's pretty fair on your part since there's so much talent here at bay12 I don't think I want to run this game without art so maybe I should take it elsewhere.

Roseheart, there are two things to part of what art; the image itself, and what it represents. In games like this, the latter is all we need to convey- we don't even need the art to express it. But the art still works so WELL! The simplicity, the cleanness of your art style makes it perfect for this game; No one needs fancy pictures to convey the story (look at many of the games on the forum!), and extra detail would serve only to make updates take longer. If we had, say, Dexexe1234 doing the art, updates would take a week, maybe LONGER, to make, and it would die very quickly. I'm not sure if I can express it to you.

..And you changed your avatar to a flat line. Makes me worried..
Edit: ..and it changed back?
Edit2: How do I get the URL for the picture? When I click it, it takes me down to my part in that turn, ant the URL there doesn't work.

Title: Re: ZL
Post by: OceanSoul on January 08, 2017, 02:04:38 pm
You may not think much of your art style now. But that is the very reason you should keep using it; without practice, it'll stay that way. If you don't like it, try drawing something a little differently. Maybe you try different line thicknesses, maybe draw curves a little smoother or rougher, it's your choice. Your art style can grow and change with you, and maybe it should. Even if you don't like a new change to your style, you better understand the way you want to draw things. In fact, who says you have to have only one art style? Try entirely different styles from time to time, even if it's only practice. It'll all increase your overall drawing skills, so there's barely anything to lose.

One day, you will understand your style of art, and it will be great.

Edit: Thank you.

Commune 14-203-1

Move to the lake and commune with any NPC's there.

helmacon and Gloven

Gloven sees you approach, "Hello mage."
You don't choose anything to say, but he sees your intent to listen.
"I am sure you know of FauxHat. The doppleganger. He is a menace. A trickster that must be stopped. Don't worry about my woes. I'll be fine. Go! He went west. He grows stronger with every mistake! Your mage eye may lie to you..."

telepatcally call the mothership (yes it can travel interdimensionally)
red:45 green: 0 blue: 0
(fixd to 45) (multiples of 15=15 30 45 60 75 90 105 ect)

ufo and commander

The two look into each others eyes, and without a word spoken the commander turns and leaves, without ufo.

Suddenly a sparkling field glows below ufo and he is instantly back in Zenland. He now knows how to go to the blank place whenever he wants from the portal on UFO MOUND.

Roseheart, I was beginning to wonder about the limits of Blessing, so I thought up some potential examples. Are they easily within limits, or would they require some color sacrifice?

-gives a clay golem Morphed into a animal shape actual life, becoming said animal they were shaped as.
-gives the ability to become a merman in water, allowing for quicker travel
-gives a gate the ability to link with another chosen gate, allowing one two warp from one to another.
-gives a gate the power to turn those who walk through it into birds for an amount of time, allowing quick travel to anywhere on the map.

Morph already includes this, no Blessing needed.

Edit: Oh you mean a temporary transformation. That could be done via a Blessing or sufficient balancing when morphing to give that ability. The perk of the Morph route is it can't be UNDONE by Curse.

Edit2: Also also. While it is possible to soop up a unit with abilities and skills with morph or blessing. I am a lot kinder to very simple units for rolls on the bare necessity to keep the game simple.

Quote
-gives a gate the ability to link with another chosen gate, allowing one two warp from one to another.
-gives a gate the power to turn those who walk through it into birds for an amount of time, allowing quick travel to anywhere on the map.

I would consider all that possible. If there is no obstacle, a mage can already go anywhere within a turn(also, see Teliport), though units may have trouble.

The benefit will always be wayed against the magnitude and bright sacrifice and roll. If it pays the bill I don't see why not.

Oh, please also note:

This may be a bit more important than was emphasized here. If negative entities cantaminate the... "zen" of Zenland, this won't be as effortless than it might be otherwise.

For the first one, I was talking about making an actual, living, flesh-and-blood animal. Does that change anything?
For the second, I was talking about it affecting a player, allowing for travel underwater to make/affect/cast things down there.

And, lastly, that last comment is Definitely referring to Flophat.

Just because morph has only CURRENTLY been used to turn the golems into basically new golem varients, DOES NOT mean they need to be.

Quote
you may take your Clay Golems and turn them into a new type of unit. Make note of its new strengths and weaknesses(one must justify the other).
That definition is quite broad, is it not?

"A trickster ey? let's see if he is as tricky as this old fool." Ask gloven to point me in the direction of the doppelganger, and prepare for a battle of wits.
You find the newcomer, OceanSoul. (You may continue west as a mid-update, talking to other mages is always free)

"sigh back to step one"
rename ufo mound to portal mound and go to an unclaimed corner
You journey north. You come to the northeast corner. It is barren on all sides as far as anyone can see. Except little hints far far off dotting the horizon.

Run away from the hostile Golem, and tell my others to attack it.
BANNER 1: FLEE HOSTILE, ATTACK IF OBSTRUCTED
The creature grabs a golem. As you and the other flee, you sense it draws near. It moves quickly through the forest. You make it to the lake when you hear!... "Over Here!" Gloven!

OceanSoul's lucky chain-reaction, #45
Try Sink again, once again at my northwest. Wave to the wizard in distance (tophat, right?).
I'd only meant it as a brief "Hi". If I can't also spell, I'll just use Sink as intended
The man with the funny hat continued west, and the land you wanted to play with was then open.

The ground sank down as intended, revealing a small lake. But then the winds began to swirl around it. A small tornado hovered over the center until it grew down and began to spin the water. The spiraling winds stopped but the water kept swirling. There seemed to be a perminent vortex.

You noticed helmacon in the distance, going the same way as the one from before.

The mage-in-training didn't know what to do with the vortex. He had a plan for what he'd make on the west side of this white land, a great sea, with a few buildings on the coast, maybe a lighthouse, and a few islands, maybe an underwater castle in the west edge. However, he didn't know what to do with the tall, slim whirlpool that he had just created. He likely couldn't move it without risking it's collapse, but he felt he had no right to destroy it. Perhaps, later, he could apply a blessing to the spiral, affecting those who entered it. Perhaps it would teleport them, providing a quick means of travel, or perhaps it could grant water-breathing, maybe even transformation into a creature of the sea, to grant access to it's grand depths..that is, when it is complete. Could one even enter the vortex safely? Was there even a risk of danger? He tried his best to analyze the nature and limits of the vortex. He took his quill, and began making note of these possibilities. When the voice of another mage rang his way, he felt glad to encounter one of the other, more experienced inhabitants here. His expectation of Southern hospitality was cut short by the great scar covering the other's visage. He felt, for a moment, repulsed, but brought himself back together, and said, "I don't think I could be of any help. I only have spells to a single degree of magnitude, and I could use a golem or two first. I did see Flophat- or Fauxhat, as you called him -a little to my north, so he may be going for..what's the place called again?" His tome floated back to his front, and opened to it's last two pages, which contained a map. "Donut Island. Might want to check there first. I'll stay a little to the north, in case he walks back this way".

Welcome to Zenland. Originally, it looked like this:

[glow=black,2,300]Aloha![/glow]

Aloha!

If you cast the red spell lift, and it succeeds, you add 15 red to your font when posting your next turn.

That's really all you need to know to get started. Flip through the Spell Book and find a spell you like. When you're ready....  choose anywhere to begin!

Could one even enter the vortex safely? Was there even a risk of danger? He tried his best to analyze the nature and limits of the vortex.
Upon closer inspection, it can be seen..............
-You have no time to ponder such things, as a mage, a man, and a golem come flying out of the vortex... the mage lands to your right, the man to the left, and the root golem crashes straight into you. As you recover you hear a terrible moan coming from the vortex. It then disapates entirely.

"A horror."

Juggle back to red and cast golem as I pass Ocean Soul's lake. Use my highest possible magnitude. (2 I think?)
Instead of finishing your journey west right away, you take time to preform a spell at the lake.
Yet nothing happens. (no spell burn or color gain)

"You and me both". The vortex was now gone, so it seemed. Chances were, it wouldn't come back. Take a look at the other two people. Or, at least, they look like people. Then compare the way they look to their appearance on the Mage's Eye. Then, cast Lift to the south-east-east of the once-vortex lake.

Edit: Helmacon, your spell didn't come through because you only PREformed it so far. You've done the part that comes before actually performing the spell. Next turn, you should be able to cast it wish a small positive modifier, maybe.

I think I said you(players)'d be able to do it IN the rain but I changed my mind.

The spell book says that Reveal can be used while it's raining. On the topic, Reveal is entirely aesthetic, right? Or could it provide minor utility based on class- for example, would a Blue mage revealing themselves as a merman gain movement through bodies of water?

Why would you assume I'd assume that? Isn't it possible someone would fail a spell, then in response to what is happening around them do something different on their next turn?
Title: Re: ZL
Post by: RoseHeart on January 15, 2017, 03:12:15 pm
I suppose I will that actually it seems fine.

If someone doesn't post a turn after trying to do a spell that was a dud(but not an eventful failure of somekind),
I will have them try again.

At some point if this game last long enough, someone will cast a spell when it would not be a good idea. But 99% of the time it'll work out, and the other 1% it will simply be a distracted mage.

So I will do this if I don't get a new turn from someone that tried to cast a spell that was a dud.

#46 OCEAN SOUL'S LUCKY MISFIRE
cast Lift to the south-east-east of the once-vortex lake.
Strange. Traverse to The Geyser and chant.
Instead the rain stops. (still gain color)
You see TopHat heading east. (intentional black font)

#47 HELMACON'S DECENT MEHCESS
Juggle back to red and cast golem as I pass Ocean Soul's lake. Use my highest possible magnitude. (2 I think?)
Instead of finishing your journey west right away, you take time to preform a spell at the lake.
Yet nothing happens.
Um... complete my spell?
Two clay golems emerge.
((this is actually a standard success result now(for mag 2), but since it used to give extra clay golems I gave it to ya))

#48 TOPHAT?'S EPIC RECKONING
Cast Bright-Blessing, mag. 2, using 30 red (because hey, this is part of the Golem spell), to grant the gift of life to the Titan I appear to have created.
Your spell is so concentrated, it brakes up into waves of semi-spells.
A spell to awaken! And command loyalty!
First, the golem monument gets a glimmer to its' eyes and moans.
A spell to animate!
Next, a red wave pulses from you and the ground shakes. But nothing more seems to happen...
ANIMATE!
Another red pulse and...?

#49 MARKSDORF'S CURIOUS CHAIN-REACTION
Cast lift on the bottom left corner of the map to create a small hill.
As the ground begins to raise, it is as if it gets... stuck. You sense some kind of odd "mass", not heavier just.. odd.

You lean into the spell and the ground gives-way. Your hill has a cave in it. As the wind enters it makes a kind of chime. Why, it was a large hollow geode. Full of some kind of exotic crystals.

"Oooo"

Is it, talking?

GWOLFSKI'S BIG BREAK
Break out of my shell.
Light dances down little cracks along your marble body. Then with a burst of pebbles and dust you are free.

Wait, WHAT? Don't tell me you're giving up on this game!..But, why you you say this thread, with italics? Are you remaking this from scratch? I..just don't know..

And, no matter if this game's continuing or not, why did my first two spells have no spell burn, when my first one didn't?

It's definately continuing.

Not sure, your wording brakes my brain.

When I first cast a spell, it had no spell burn. The next two times I cast a spell, they had a turn of spell burn. I don't know what wad different about the first spell that made it have no spell burn.

Loaf around. I have nothing I can do anything with. Even if I had a golem or something, all I could really do now is spells. That is, if I was ABLE to do spells now..[/spellburnhate]

Oh that's funny(because of your misfire. generally, I consider things that make me laugh a good thing, on the bright side updates will become faster)

Mage Eye is posted and will be updated here (http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=162343.0), in the future succesor thread. Please continue to post your turns here at this time.

Cast Landmark on the hill to claim it as your own. Then, examine the hollow geode.

"..Guys? You may want to check the Mage's Eye. Not the descriptions..but the image. Those symbols..what are they? For some reason, the word 'circuit' comes to mind.." Try and draw the 'circuit' for transformation (the circle, with the three weird prongs that look like mirrored ones) in the ground. If the weird white ground can't be drawn in, try putting it in the sand of the once-Vortex'd lake. If nothing happens, take a moment to reflect upon the symbol.

BTW, other mages, I'm referring to the new Mage's Eye in the other Zenland thread.

Edit: Nevermind, he confirmed they're not part of gameplay. Guess my action will be nothing, then, except being prepared for something to happen.

Cast Lift on the North side of The Guyser. See if I can angle the flow into the Canal that way.

Cast Landmark on the hill to claim it as your own. Then, examine the hollow geode.
I'll name it Geode Hill.
Geode Hill is ordinary, on the outside. Inside you watch your step as a million million tiny, and medium, and massive crystal shards point in on you. There is.. music in here. It is also bright from reflected light.. and maybe some glow from the crystals themselves. As the wind has some strange effect on them a whisper can be heard. Almost making.. but not quite.. tanglible words.

MAGNITUDE UP: RED(MAX 2)

Order golems to build a small house for me.

<red:45><green:60><blue:60>
They get to work on making your cabin home in the center of Donut Isle. You help aswell. As the foundation is layed out, the Axe Golems cut out notches so the pieces can be placed together by you and the other four golems. Work moves quickly, though, strangly one golem, a Root Golem seems to have gotten sidetracked...

The house is complete.

Me and my Golems give up on the chase for fauxhat. We Traverse to the forest and attempt to barter with Gloven for some lumber.

Red=75 Green=0 Blue=75
I won't be going back there until that thing is taken care of...

Your clay golems are acting strange...

Oceanus seems like an appropriate name for the first Titan.

Cast Lift on the North side of The Guyser. See if I can angle the flow into the Canal that way.
Spawn in somewhere and use Lift on the place I'm standing.

((never done this before so tell me if I'm doing something wrong.))
As the mages go about their business, something... glides silently over Zenland...
A reverberating sound wave becons them to look up. A craft lands over Portal Mound.

Please allow helmacon to go first this turn.

The wizard fool know as helmacon gasps and falls to the ground, an intense pain seeming to strike his body from nowhere. His golems move of thier own accord, one holding him up.
he begins to speak, a whisper through clenched teeth. His other clay golem stand before him crying out in a booming voice like nothing heard before. A parrot, repeating his words. The deafening sound echos throughout, heard by all in Zenland.

"To the mound. To the portal mound. He is there for us, waiting for us. He is good. He will do good by us, but only if we are there for him. We must go, we must go, we must go, we must go... waiting... waiting... waiting. We must go. must go." The wizard at last loses consciousness, and his golems begin to carry him towards the portal mound.

End of spells for this thread still apply.

You don't sound too excited. :/
But maybe I am wrong.

I did make it clear the thread would end at 50 spells some time ago, but it was before you signed on.

I understand if you do not wish to do something you didn't sign up for.

However, it's all I have to offer at this time. Up to you, it's your choice. There are plenty of other games.
