3rd. Your games are pretty good, and they haven't been hard to pick up. The hardest part of any of your games I played was the was the [color=rgb(15,0,30) stuff..Not that I don't like a challenge. Which , from the looks of it, dungeon programmer should begin to get tricky soon.

Day 1

Quote from: Classified
Greetings doctors, I have assembled you here in response to recent events.

There has been a new terrorist pathogen released. It is a "smart bug" with a single goal to eradicate all human life.

Our sources tell us that it must be either a bacteria, parasite, or virus.

It's main weakness is it does not diversify so if you find it, you found all of it. It mutates as a whole.

In future debriefings we will refer to it as 'Germ X'.

Germ X has been released on one of the major continents.

Each turn the group will select where to fund a Regional Study. You will see current levels of all symptoms compared to typical levels. You may do this now.

However this turn will be special, because the area chosen will also be where you set up your Home Lab. This is where research on The Cure is done.

1. North America (humid, cold)
2. Eurasia (cold, rural)
3. Australia (hot, humid)
4. Africa (hot, arid)
5. South America (rural, arid)

Doctors may choose their Specialty:
1. Heart
2. Brain
3. Lungs
4. Skin

Medical Knowledge
-Parasites are harder to find samples of
-Viruses mutate more rapidly
-Bacteria spread more quickly
-Rural areas are harder to sample but safer
-If the airports close to the region with the Home Lab it will be harder to send samples there

Where is Europe? NVM, just realised what Eurasia is supposed to be.

"Hehe heh, I am ze original mad scientist, Sir Lootington, and it is time to do some SPECIAL RESEARCH!" ;D
My Specialt is the Lungs.
I will set up my home lab in Eurasia.
I will fund a regional study of Eurasia.

We're all getting the same Lab and Study. I'll go with Brain, the name Bey Eyhem, and think we should start in Africa- it's the middle ground in terms of airways, and is rural enough for a decent degree of safety.

So Germ X kills fun, huh? It must be affecting people's ability to do fun things, recognize fun, or their beliefs in what is/isn't fun. Have the study pay particular attention to average Joes, wallflowers, overprotective parents, lawyers, etc. [/joking]

End of Report

Home Lab is ready in Eurasia to begin analyzing samples, go find Germ X!

Please vote on the next Regional Study. You may do the same one.

1. North America (humid, cold)
2. Eurasia (cold, rural) Day 2
3. Australia (hot, humid)
4. Africa (hot, arid)
5. South America (rural, arid)

Each doctor may now(independantly) Travel from Eurasia to a connecting continent, one time today, before or after taking one of the following actions:

Take a Sample in the region you are in. Choose which symptom to target.

Treat a symptom in a region. Slows down the growth of the germ if caused by it. Lessens random increase of that symptom in the Regional Study.

More options will become available as you discover samples of the germ.

Medical Knowledge
-There is a 1/40 chance a symptom will be above 119%, and same below 81%, not relating to that caused by Germ X
-If it goes above that boundary there is a 50% chance it will again next day, these can be breakouts unrelated to Germ X
-If you treat a symptom having this kind of breakout, it only has a 1/40 chance of happening next turn

President Rose, will I receive a penalty for sampling or trying to treat a symptom outside my specialty?
Title: Re: MD Inc. (Day 2)

No.

Then, what is the point of our specialties?

So, instead of penalties to things outside of out specialty, we get bonuses to things inside our specialty? What sort of bonuses, President Rose?
