Created a new adventurer. Was looking for an interesting starting civ. Found an elvish one which had conquered sites from all of the other three major races. Chose them.
The first site the game suggested as a starting location was a camp. At first I thought it was a bandit camp, but since the civ was obviously successful, I figured there was something more interesting going on, so I went with it.
The camp turned out to be quite a surprise:

It's a whole army!
Unfortunately we're not heading to war. My commander told me to enjoy in these times of peace. Whatever. At least the other lieutenants have awesome names: Inefa Killblood, Slonan Lightningwing and Udam Dissolveworship. There's also our army's administrator Mokathi Lightningstyle. Our commander is named Yawo Drivelyrics
I guess I'll try assassinating him, and being elected the new commander.
