Hello RTD! I thought it was time we got to know each other. I was informed my City Heroes RPG (http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=165068.0) might be better off here. Why not
What I have for you is not something grown from the DNA of this subforum. It is more like a RTD convergent evolution (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convergent_evolution). However there will be rolling, and with luck, tact, and help from your allies, dodging.
The dice work as follows
X=Fail, Y=Neutral, Z=Success.
Die size vary on the challenge but Z is the highest outcome//or above//, Y is one less, and X is everything below.
You will have bonuses to your roll that can be triggered.
SUMMARY 1!
Cards
POW - Impact - Basic
Bonus: If opponent is KO'd, draw another card.
DODGE - Self - Basic
Bonus: If one enemy attacks, win the round and draw a card.
SLAM - Impact
Bonus: Opponent can't act next round.
Advanced
You can draw instead of play a card.
Play a card in bold font to increase its' power, but remove its' bonus.
Do stuff related to your fighting style stooopud (+1)

(I'd like to ask you to go in more detail about the card aspect of this game and what each of them do, at least)
Think of games like 1000 blank white cards. I have the fallacy of thinking of myself as an ingenuitive game host, which creates situations like these, where I take couple pages of scribbled notes, and instead of meticulously defining each or even each basic element, I say,"screw it, lets see what happens." This is an example of improvised forum game creation. Some games are pleasing for their mechanics, I offer this as being pleasing for it's chaos, and perhaps meterializing mechanics from madness, journey.
