Title: Omega Legion: Len and Ington verses the Anx.
Post by: Ozarck on September 23, 2017, 11:24:09 am
You all grab your gear and climb into an indicated metal pod. the portal is a tight squeeze for the two bigger of you, with the Gorrilla having to go in one arm at a time. Once inside, however, it's roomy, almost as if the higher-ups were planning to send more than four of you, one of which is an eyeball. there are no windows, and the lighting is quite dim. You sit and stare at each other awkwardly.

you sit for a while. Several clunks are heard. Suddenly, you feel very nauseous and disoriented for several minutes. the pod suddenly jerks sidewways as if rammed by an angry bull. The sound is like the inside of a large bell, and you are the strikers. So naturally, yo uare not in tip top shape when the portal opens again and you look out on a short, brightly lit hallway with no corners. The other end of the little hallway is a similar portal to the one you are looking out of. You stare for a minute while you attempt to get your nausea under control, but nothing happens.

((Don't worry if you are not fully ready yet. the start of this mission will be fairly leisurely to get you familiar with the setting and all, and you will have time to finish up on-base loose ends as well. Just, I wanted to actually get you on-thread, so I went ahead and posted here.))

Start by trying to examine the portals, the hallway and the other allies that have joined me and the ape. Then try to gaze into the near future to know what should be expecting when they said something about a "swarm". If we are going to fight against them, then having knowledge of how they look or attack would greatly help.

"Fucking magic."

Get out of the bell, walk down the hallway, go through the portal.

Before she goes she makes sure to get a small shield preferably an aegis to go with her usual fighting style. ((last base action))

Quiet. Rubbing their hair touching a small nub gently as they tried to focus.

Breathing deep and trying to get their bearings their eyes narrow.

Let's look at my allies here. Also, let's make sure I'm fine. Nothing wrong with me. Also...uh make sure my nubs are hidden behind my hair well...it would be unfortunate if my hair was tousled enough that they are visible.

Ask around Omega for a pouch until I find one, or until the mission starts. Also ask to see who could fuse an enchantment with the steel gauntlets.

Oh and if i didnt already equip the gauntlets as well as the apron and helmet mentioned earlier, do that too.

Then try to gaze into the near future to know what should be expecting when they said something about a "swarm". The portals are round doorways with round doors that seal neatly and snugly into their doorways. They have heavy hinges and a circular valve-like handle that you have to turn wit htwo hands to open. So, you know, someone else would have to turn them. You note that there is a light next to each portal: the one next you your current portal isgreen. The one next to the far portal is red. The hallway is white, appears to be metallic in nature, is about four feet in length, and has two windows - one in the floor and one in the ceiling. Your other allies are a large, surly brute of a woman with a greataxe and an arbalest, and a smaller woman with horn nubs and a tendency to strike dramatic poses and speak in monologues. Has an affinity for armor that looks like dresses, complete with giant poofy shoulders.

I believe that the one bit of farsight that i disallow in this game is future sight. Because the future lies "in the realm of Chaos." That is, it is completely undefined. Any attempt to look into the future gets basically static. I suppose very close future sight could grant a rather vague vision, but eh, I'm not going to split hairs about it. Especially since you can use that farsight in a much more direct way - by looking right at the horde. You attempt this, but you find nothing. Strange.

"Fucking magic."

Get out of the bell, walk down the hallway, go through the portal.
You climb out of the sphere and immediately fall onto the wall. Grumbling, about wizards and such, you atand up, hands bracing the floor and ceiling and step forward to teh portal. It's a short step. the portal does not open. You grumble again about sorcerers and stuff.

Before she goes she makes sure to get a small shield preferably an aegis to go with her usual fighting style. ((last base action))

Quiet. Rubbing their hair touching a small nub gently as they tried to focus.

Breathing deep and trying to get their bearings their eyes narrow.

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/aegis

hell no, you do not get "The shield of the gods." That's the exact kind of unique special item I was referring to when I said "special items do not come into Omega with you."
What are you after? the shield in your picture? a small round shield? tower shield?

The eyeball ... wearing a blue hat and a thick lens which constantly emits a small stream of bubbles, which tehn float around it, giving the impression of many tiny eyes around a singel large one ... definitely saw your nubs. Your hair was laying as flat as could be - not tousled in any way. But it lacked all it's normal volume and shininess, so the nubs stuck up throughand were clearly visible.

Hard to say if the two large ones noticed. Neither seem particularly insightful. Hard to tell if a gorilla would give a damn, anyway.

Ask around Omega for a pouch until I find one, or until the mission starts. Also ask to see who could fuse an enchantment with the steel gauntlets.

Oh and if i didnt already equip the gauntlets as well as the apron and helmet mentioned earlier, do that too.

Since we've talked in PM, I know you want a lightning enchantment on the gauntlets. You get that. The QM gives you a belt that contains eight pouches so you can store up to eight separate samples. You wear everything, but do not equip the gauntlets just yet, as it would make navigating the sphere (well, the portal actually. The sphere is roomy enough) and the hallway awkward. Those are for battle. Of course, you can equip them the moment you get into a more open area if you want, or go ahead and equip them now and risk electrocuting your allies in the tight spaces.

Thaumas floats towards the woman with horn nubs

Hello, are you an imp or a demon? I can see you used to have horns.

((Sorry! I was thinking video game Aegis lol! I was really tired the shield in the picture works fine.))

A slight clunking sound made manifest as the blond-haired short woman....looked up grey catlike eyes visible. Scrunched up distressed clearly at being called out? Touching their hair and twirling a bit of it in their finger they seemingly took a breath of fresh air before their voice responded. Gruff...Cautious prepared clearly and a hand already locked onto their weapon. This person clearly was...a cautious one.

"I am no Demon."

Gently parting their hair to the side-biting their lip a scar small and visible on their lip. Their nubs were made clear hair parted to the side. Conventionally she could be considered...attractive one supposes at least facially. Besides the horn nubs of course.

"I am a Tiefling....does...that bother you in any way? Do you know what a tiefling is?"

Max, leaning against the closed portal with her arms crossed, rolls her eyes.
"Drama queen."

I don't know what a tiefling is. Is it some kind of demon? And why would I be bothered?

Blinking slowly. Okay, they didn't know. Which meant they most likely....and their general attitude that they most likely wouldn't....React extremely badly. As such they gently let a smile cross their lips. Eye's gently closing before they spoke slightly warm informative and teaching they had...used this tone a few times before...they have had a few students and they certainly liked helping the younger initiates in her order.

"A Tiefling is a type of....A..."

Quietly...their voice tapers....off for a moment their eyes opening....at a loss for what to say....clearly before they managed to regain their voice.

"I..A tiefling is a half-Human. Part Fiend or Demon. My mother was a human my father an incubus..as such I inherited....some traits due to his blood within me. As for why you might be bothered.....People dont really like tieflings...due to how they are usually conceived and a preconceived notion that Tieflings follow after their..demonic lineages."

Sitriana ignores Max's little comment.

Title: Re: Omega Legion: Len and Ington verses the Anx.
Post by: AbstractTraitorHero on September 24, 2017, 06:08:27 pm
Quietly they tap their horns and make a small sawing motion with a finger.

"I sawed them off. They used to be kinda big. I also used to have a tail. But I cut that. I suppose..I...could be called a demon spawn...But...I prefer to just be called a Knight. I was the Grandmaster of my order.
We were dedicated to protecting the innocent to protecting people. Also, it's Sitriana."

You... Cut them off? That sounds horrible! Why would you do that? You should not be ashamed of your heritage, you should be proud of it and let the world know about it.
Title: Re: Omega Legion: Len and Ington verses the Anx.
Post by: AbstractTraitorHero on September 24, 2017, 06:25:59 pm
She stares kinda aghast just a bit...stunned one would suppose. She had never heard anyone say that. Say to literally be proud that her father was a demon and that she was born of rape. It took them a few moment's to respond an eyebrow raised their voice confused.

"I..you do know that I was basically born from rape right? Why would I want to be proud of that? I mean...I..Don't think I have anything to be proud about for my heritage other than the fact I proved people wrong about me. As for why? I was young and I was sick of being treated by shit by everyone and I wanted to have a chance at making friends. It worked out well and I don't regret it despite how it...hurt quite a bit."

This eye was certainly a strange one. Sitriana honestly kinda wondered where he came from. She....would actually like to see it maybe they would actually be accepting of her....It would be nice to meet people other than her knights who were okay with her...Heritage. But perhaps...Omega legion. People didn't care about race as much...they were all trapped in this together after all?

Demons are strong and their strength flows through your veins. If humans don't want to accept you as one of them because of your heritage, then you should have tried to live with demons.

Their word's were intriguing to Sitriana. Interesting and while she disagreed heavily with living with demons. She would never have wanted that.....Not with what demons where she wouldn't be the same person. She wouldn't be the woman....that Sir Galloway was proud of. She wouldn't be the woman who made her mentor proud and wouldn't be the grandmaster of her order. She wouldn't have experienced the best time in her life. Her mentorship under him and her time in the order......She wouldn't trade in those memories for anything.

Shaking her head vigorously at the eye vehement and catlike grey eye's almost burning with righteousness their arms touching their sides their face serious and adamant as their voice comes out strong and without hesitation.

"I'm afraid you're wrong eye. I would never want that. To have picked that choice would have been a mistake. I would never have become a knight. I wouldn't be the woman I am and I wouldn't be someone my mentor Sir Galloway rest his soul could be proud of. I'm proud of who I am. I am a grandmaster of the order of the Aegis! I protect the innocent and those who cannot protect themselves! I am proud of myself."

Taking a deep breath eyes closing before reopening and then looking at max with a stern look.

"His blood is strong and helps me be stronger than a normal human. I do use it. I have magic do to his blood. Fiendish magic that can cause pain with a glance. His blood is a strength but it is one that I will be careful with. For I have no intention of falling from grace. His sins are not mine and I will not let them become mine, Max. But. I think we need to get a move on don't you think?"

Letting a small smile grace their lips scar across it twitching ever so lightly as they rearranged their hair to cover their horns best as they can.

Try to hide my horns best as I can. Examine the portal and wait for it to open.

"The light is red. I think that means we have to wait.
It's curious, you speak so much of honor. Have you ever taken a life? Do you really think that the job of a knight is honorable?"

Loiter until the light turns green or something else happens.

You say you are proud of yourself, but then you try to cover what remains of your horns. You must not try to contain your strenght, as when the time to fight comes, you must give everything you have. Don't hold back and embrace your heritage.

Giving a wry smile they let a chuckle leave their lips before answering warmly honestly.

"Max. I have taken many a life. Bandit. Marauder. Murderer. Rapist. Soldier's of the queen's army and a Corrupt Baron. I speak of honor max because I do not serve a lord. We were independent in a way. We served only the people and while we were on a barons land we did not serve under him. The job of a standard knight is not honorable it is a slave to the beuerogeis. To the rich and corrupt. The Aegis is something that I am proud of and am happy I joined. They saved my life when I was about to be killed for my fiendish magic in the church I grew up in."

The memory flooded their mind. Soft and warm as they remembered one of the better days of their life and the days of revelry with her friends. A frown crossed her face for a moment worry clouding her eyes. She....wondered how many of her friends were alive. She hoped they were still alright. Still fighting the queen and doing what was right. She....believed in them. Her face changed to one of open fondness her voice nostalgic and caring.

"I am Sitriana The Aegis Galloway and my mentor Sir Galloway showed me what the Aegis was about. I speak the truth when I say we were honorable. We were almost akin to paladins at times I will be honest in our dedication to the protection of the people. We did what was right and I did what was right."

Their smile going now their voice going serious.

"I took my job seriously. I killed the baron who murdered my mentor. Who tried to silence and stop us and I took over the city with me and my men. I am here because I fought against the queen for the way that the people were treated. I lost my fight impaled on a lance but my men still live on. I know we are honorable and I am honorable because I stick to my ideas and what I believe and my knights believe is right. I wouldn't in a million years choose another path than the one I trod.  Becuase I feel proud and I feel like what I did mattered and helped people."

You say you are proud of yourself, but then you try to cover what remains of your horns. You must not try to contain your strength, as when the time to fight comes, you must give everything you have. Don't hold back and embrace your heritage.

They breath out quiet for a moment before they look up and speak cautiously still on a high from their speech a moment ago.Catlike eyes dilated almost.

"I will consider it."

"The act of killing men is not righteous, not ever. You would do well to accept that now, rather than when it can hurt you."
Title: Re: Omega Legion: Len and Ington verses the Anx.
Post by: AbstractTraitorHero on September 24, 2017, 08:09:41 pm
Thoughts whirled through their head feeling their nubs silently with their right hand her pinky obviously missing. Her left hand going to her backside feeling a...long cutoff nub of a spaded tail. She could truthfully sometimes feel it almost moving about like a ghost limb. Her voice came out...pondering and reflective weighing the pros and cons of such an act.

"...My horns could possibly regrow I do not know. I do not think I will ever be able to grow back my tail. it was of flesh after all and I do not think it can regrow without some form of advanced magic. I...think I might consider it...here especially perhaps the horns could be useful here. I am weary though because people will likely trust me less if I show more demonic traits and I do not wish to lose the ability to stop a fight with words. Some may refuse to even speak with me if I show such demonic traits or attack me on sight perhaps."

"The act of killing men is not righteous, not ever. You would do well to accept that now, rather than when it can hurt you."

Frowning silently shaking their head. It was true it was a shame that people went to the dark path. But that they did such made them a threat to the innocent. While if it was possible she would try diplomacy if there was not an innocent at risk at the moment she held..little empathy for them unless they accepted her offer. Some of her knights were bandits she offered a new life after all.

"I give them a chance if the situation is not dire and an innocent is not at risk to repent or throw aside their ways. I have had several bandits and the like join my knights and become good men. I see no problem with striking down those who refuse to change and who willingly continue to hurt innocent live's. It is righteous to end their lives in that case. While it is better to bring someone to repentance it is acceptable and necessary to end the lives of those who refuse."

You just had a ...*counts on fingers* nineteen post conversation about your horns. You aint hiding shit.

You climb out of the sphere and, after dfalling on your face onto the wall, you edge up beside Max, next to the portal. The Portal looks like a metal door with a circular handle in the middle.

"The light is red. I think that means we have to wait.

Thaumas floats towards the woman with horn nubs

Hello, are you an imp or a demon? I can see you used to have horns.
I know this wasn't a bolded action, but your location mattes, so I'm going ahead and assuming you are in the narrow cramped corridor here.

No, you can't convince me otherwise.

Rejoin the others if I didn't already, examine the area for a bit, maybe get some combat practice in, try NOT to hit anyone while practicing, and also act like I'm not paying attention to the conversation, not like I care anyway.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.
You climb out of the sphere, pointedly ignoring all the dramatic posing and so forth. You put on your gauntlets and attempt to shadow box. In a four foot long corridor. With three companions beside you.

(5) you manage not to hit anyone with the gauntlets. You manage even to avoid hitting the windows. You do end up squishing everyone up against the walls. Ol' Bubbleeye there emits a could of bubbles between itself and you, which inflate and harden. So now, you are all wedged into the hallway, comfortably cocooned in a seafoam concrete of some kind.

(2) and the portal remains closed.

To be clear, you are all now stuck in that little hallway, encapsulated in some kind of hard seafoam, thanks to The Bubble defense and your teamamate's attempt to do imaginary battle indoors. The doorway you are trying to get through remains closed.

Examine the inner mechanisms of the prtal with my improved vision (Maybe try X-ray first). Then use my intellect and telekinesis to move the inner components of the door and open it. If it uses magic, try focusing and magic it open.

Examine the sea foam for possible weak points to help with breaking it, and also to see if it could react lethally to electricity or not. Don't strike yet.

I advise you guys to start reading the whole turn, rather than specifically your own parts. Because information that i give to one character is often useful or important for everyone. For example, the red and green lights on the portals.

Fuck. Ill try to get this door open.
Examine the inner mechanisms of the prtal with my improved vision (Maybe try X-ray first). Then use my intellect and telekinesis to move the inner components of the door and open it. If it uses magic, try focusing and magic it open.
(3) The inner mechanisms look locked in place. Almost as if they are connected to another locking mechanism. (5) Your attempts to unlock succeed, you poor bastard.

The light on that portal turns green, and the door flies open, and a huge rush of wind shoves you all toward the sphere. Unfortunately the sphere is also shoved away, torn free from it's connecting port. The lights on both portals are now glowing a pulsating amber, and an alarm is sounding.

(5) Lucky for you guys, you get ejected right back into the sphere, still encased in the seafoam bubble wrap. Door's still open, and you are most definitely tumbling away from ... something. Whatever your destination was.

Anyway, good work there. You got the door open, and you got yourself and your allies free of the hallway.

"Look, I'm no expert, but if that thing really is some sort of dimensional magic, which it is, reaching inside and opening it while it's not ready is probably just gonna make it explode and kill us all.

Break apart the foam constraining me and the others.

"Sorry. My fault. I didn't think that would happen."

Examine the sea foam for possible weak points to help with breaking it, and also to see if it could react lethally to electricity or not. Don't strike yet.

Quiet. Silent. Stuck in foam and shaking partly in anger partly in shock. Quietly they began to move.

Just. Get this shit off me.

After a minute of struggling, the foam begins to break off in chunks, then dissolves completely, leaving you all in a slowly tumbling sphere, drifting toward gods knows where.

(1) "We got this, guys! Trust me!" You say confidently, as you float out of the sphere, into the purple flow of antiwater. You are immediately whisked downstream, tumbling and bouncing.

(3) Something large and orange swims by you at speed. something similar follows rather quickly.

You're more bobbing along sideways than falling downward at this point. You are going fairly fast though and yes, there is indeed cause for concern as evidenced by your suddenly disappearing teammate and the things that swam after him almost immediately.

She was certain the eyeball was going to be fine, to be honest, if she wasn't she would have jumped out after them. Her honor and her dedication to her ideals would not allow otherwise but for now, her body rushed along with max to close shut this hatch.

The antiwater does not seem to have an up or a down. (5) but you become intensely aware of your surroundings: The sphere is drifting out of reach, there is a massive cliff, wall, or maybe it's the ground to your right. Along that wall you detect several of the ports like the one your sphere connected to. You note with dismay that you are essentially in a 'river' full of hostile, aggressive life. Swarms of small, bulbous creatures that rip and tear to shreds anything that comes into their reach, larger, more toothy predators like the ones chasing you now, Silent, ambush predators lurking in the shadows, behemoths in the distance, far to the left - a place where few of the 'smaller' creatures dare to swim.
(6) v(4) you make your way as quickly as possible toward your original target, dodging the two creatures in a panic. they follow, hot on your tail and gaining. In this unfamiliar terrain you are at a disadvantage. Next round, both will get a roll to attack.

((Actually I don't think Kongor would do much better than abstract's character would in terms of swimming, but I can try to not let that stop me entirely.))

See if the aquatic creatures are within jumping distance. If so jump on to one and prevent it from attacking Thaumas. If not, definitely help close the hatch
(6) you realize quickly that the distance is too great for you to to any good chasing after the eyeball. You wish him luck and reach for the door. See below fo rth e outcome of this action

IT KEEPS HAPPENING

Close the hatch.
It's just like old times, eh?

I could three stooges this and make the three of you roll for it, but I'll just auto it. Max and the Gorilla (I forgot his name) knock the -ugh- the tiefling -shudder- to the floor, unintentionally, of course, in their haste to hut the door. They slam it shut, and their GM doesn't even roll a strength check to see if they break something in the process.

the amber light turns red, and the world outside disappears. for a moment, nothing happens. then, the htree of you are jerked sideways again as the pod clangs against something. the light turns green again, and the door swings open.

Paralyzing gaze attack both creatures then push them away telekinetically. As long as I can see them, they should be affected by it. Hope they get eaten by the bigger fishes on this... uh... whatever this place is.

Examine the area outside the hatch and look for more plants if there are any.
you three crowd out into an exact replica of the previous hallway. Same weird portal, same red and green lights, same cramped little space, same two windows. You all, once again, fall comically on your sides when you switch from the orientation of the sphere to the orientation of the hallway. There are no plants in this hallway. Three might be some further in, if you guys can learn to defeat the mighty villain Sir Portal and his sinister henchmen Red Light the Terrible and Green Light the Foolishly Optimistic.

(3)ATH's person fails OT locate the eyeball in the hallway, so she looks out the window. She sees wildlife. Specifically aquatic style creatures and kelp.

(These have been the worst 5 results ever, one ended with me opening the door then getting stuck outside and the other put me in combat with -2 in all physical stats. What the fuck is antiwater?)

hmm. now I gotta go look up your character sheet. Hmm "very minor ability." okay.
(6) (5) well well well. Never give up, never surrender, eh? You make eye contact with the two beasts - no easy task with creatures whose eyes are in the sides of their heads. Your paralyzing gaze keeps you focused on them as you lock up their brains, so you end up drifting further downstream in the process. But you are able to push the two fish away from yourself, out into faster moving water, and they drift out of sight, finally freeing you from your own spell. You look about - no sign of the massive cliff, portals, or your friends. Just kelp, mud, antiwater and omnipresent !DANGER! in the form of more sea monsters as yet unseen.

Wait, and be ready in case of attack.
Stay on guard. Wait.
Wait for the light to turn green.
You three sit in the hallway, uncomfortably close, and stare at the closed little portal with it's little red light, back lit by the open portal to the sphere behind you and it's little green light. Congratulations, you didn't kill each other this round.

What happened to the wall with the ports and hatches? I thought my vision was almost perfect. Use farsight to map the whole area and find a safe place. If any big monster gets close to me, paralyze then telekinetic push it or the water to move it away.
You already know what happened to the wall and portals: you drifted far downstream of them. Your farsight shows upstream to contain the wall and portals, outstream to contain emptiness and monsters, downstream to contain faster water and monsters, and instream to contain ... eh, call it "shallow" water. I mean, you don't find any evidence of a surface or air or anything like that: the antiwater goes on as far as your vision can determine, in all directions. (1) what you don't find is any safety anywhere, except possibly the wall and it's portals. (2) and once again, you are set on by monsters. This time a school of small bitey things. (4) at least you maintain position against the flow of water this round.

Hatch closes, other hatch opens.
((sized so everyone sees this and responds. don't want you dinguses to sit in the hallway a whole additional round))

Through the hatch is a wide, circular room with an inset circular couch facing inward toward a small fire pit with a wide ledge. A rather large (larger than the gorilla), round being sits near the couch  on the opposite side of the room. A much smaller, slender being reclines on the couch. It's eye level is slightly below the eye level of teh bigger being, whose head is lowered. They appear to be in conversation, having just stopped when the hatch opens. The bigger guy blinks at you a couple times. The slender guy waves you in.

"Well, that was stupid. We've already lost one of our team to that contraption of yours."

Though the hatch.
You step into the room and piss and moan. No one pays any attention.

Giving a small bow toward's the creatures and a gentle smile they move forwards.
Through the hatch.
In you go.

"Let me guess, Len and Lengton?"

Step through the hatch and move to a spot in the vicinity where I'm not squishing anyone.
It's a reasonably large room. You step to the side and stretch out a bit.

The large ball shaped guy speaks in response:
"Ington, actually, my fellow. Ington. But yes, you have found us. And now, about your duties - come, follow us."

The two of them start to rise, but freeze in place at a sound like shattering glass.

"Impossible! The Swarm cannot have arrived yet. We have days before they are due! Quickly!"

And with that, Ington trundles off down a wide corridor. Len turns to blink at the three of you momentarily, waving you forward, then he turns as well and strides after his rotund friend.

well then, wander arround until I find something or die, using my gaze attack on anything that gets close and moving away from the fishes if it doesn't work.
Until you find something or die? Well, eventually you get set upon by that school of fish, and your bubble shield activates. The fish make rather short work of it, though, before piercing through and tearing you to shreds.

Follow Len and Ington, and make sure if the others are coming or not.

well, basically they run out into a wide observation room with a huge window onto an enormous atrium with what feels like a very low, slightly curved ceiling. But the ceiling is actually two stories up, it's just that the atrium is wide enough and deep enough that the ceiling looks low. also, the ceiling is made of thick glass. The atrium is filled with row upon row of plants larger in the middle of the room where the ceiling is highest, smallest along the edges. The ceiling is a rich green color and glows, making the whole room appear verdant.

Opposite the Atrium is another smaller, flat window. It is still several dozen feet across and eight feet tall. This window is pitch black. Len and Ington are facing the atrium, inches from the glass, frantically looking for evidence of damage. Ington approaches a pedestal with a console on it and begins pulling up holograms as well.

You notice something shift, on the far side of the room, near the blackened window.

get a better look at the unknown moving object. Be ready to dodge or counterstrike in case it attacks.

I think it's just you anymore in here.

Well, what you see is that something black has oozed into the room over there. form the looks of it, it is still oozing in. You note glass shards nearby - the ooze slowly covering them. And then a portion of the blackness rises up. It's still only a couple feet tall, but the ooze is spreading.

And the glass of the window into the inky blackness is cracking in other places.

Nothing happening here. Two people doesn't make a mission, so I say we go back home and go to Lathal.

Grab Len and Ington and stuff them in an escape pod, then go back to Omega. I can't fight alone...

((I have been pushing this off way too long because I felt I did not have time for a post and I barley do now so quite frankly.))

Sitriana Galloway will be helping people escape and genuinely doing what is expected of her station.

Alright, you all stuff the two principals into an escape pod, and climb in after them, leaving their entire estate to disintegrate under the onslaughts of Chaos.

New guy gets a full level up, for actually begin here and, yo know, moving the action along. (that's you, superdino85. +5 points to stats, +5 points to skills)
You Absentee Alices get none.

Now get back to the Base thread and do whatever while the Lathal mission gets organized.
