Title: LCS Authors File?

LCS is distributed with source code and an Authors file.  It lists 56 contributors (Terra Vitae has a slightly older version listing 54 contributors).
This file has not been updated in three~four years.
So, who should be added to it?

Should this part be altered or removed?  I think an admin needs to weigh in on that.

Current maintainers is the first section that should be updated; each repository/fork should be distinct there.
