Title: Criminal organizations
Post by: Zeebie on February 20, 2018, 03:54:48 pm
I'm trying to root out a criminal organization.  I know what town they're in, and I've been asking everyone there about the group - no one says anything beyond "It is terrifying."  I came across two people in the tavern who had "criminal" listed as their profession.  I killed them (of course).  Is that likely to be the whole group? If not, where should I be looking?

They usually hang out in a base down in the sewers or dungeons. Although I haven't hunted for one since 'criminal' was made an actual profession in 44.01, so maybe they're a bit more active out in the open these days.

they are probably dead underground since in this version apparently all bandits/criminals keep flaying eachother's guts out, plus killing the guy with "criminal" profession wasnt really a good idea since they are normal civs. if they are not bandits that means they are not killed by eachother; if so, your looking for people with military professions in the taverns usually led by a boss, bridgemaster, ringleader and ect, since they no longer stand around underground the whole time in this version. however killing them in the open will also build a bad reputation, which wasnt fixed previously

If you ask them about their family, bandits will occasionally admit that they're a lieutenant working for so-and-so.  You may need to ask several times to get it out of them.
