Can confirm, though to me it isn't fully "down", usually reloading the page fixes the issue. Maybe a DoS attack?

I'm experiencing this for several days already. "There appears to be a problem. We are working on a fix." page appears, usually it takes couple of reloads to get to normal page instead.

Looks like http://dfweb1.dwarffortresswiki.org/ is working but http://dfweb2.dwarffortresswiki.org/ is not. Is that also the case on your end? I will try to investigate.

Yes, it is exactly like that. I forced a few reloads on both links. The first one loaded every time, but some of the reloads were really slow, the slowest one took about 30 seconds or so. It loaded reasonably fast most of the time though. The second link always showed the error message. It got displayed instantly every time.

I just tried signing up for a user account on http://dwarffortresswiki.org. I got an error message page on the wiki that said my email was invalid and I couldn't be sent a confirmation message. Immediately after signing up I got a phishing email in my junk folder with a Subject "Critical Alert for your account". The email headers for the phishing email goes to some janky wordpress website.

While it could be a coincidence, I was concerned that another aspect of the wiki had been compromised and is generating malicious emails.

The email service on the wiki is broken, so I'd be surprised. Maybe talk to Briess/Locriani directly, though.

I just responded to the pm, but as the email subsystem of the wiki is entirely down, it is not possible for it to generate emails of any sort for mailing (including theoretical compromised spam emails). I will look at resolving the sign up issues shortly.

Trouble with loading pictures / thumbnails on the Wiki. I've tried two different PCs as well as my phone. There does not seem to be any logic on what gets loaded and what does not. Refreshing a page repeatedly sometimes fixes it, often no.

Ok, looks like they work on http://dfweb1.dwarffortresswiki.org/ but not http://dfweb2.dwarffortresswiki.org/. Requests are spread across those two servers, which should explain what you're seeing.
