Alright. I will be giving your units abilities, durability, and idle behavior based on your descriptions, commanders.

Now you must begin to codesign your base. It is up to you if you both stay in the same room and pile your core defenses, or spread out.

You get stronger the more you get deliveries from your workers(what is yours leaf? just description, it is weak and mindless).

You have a 6 by 6 rooms grid to work with. You each can assign 2 parameter rooms as entrances, for a total of 4.

You can have rooms openly connected, or have walls or doors. Walls and doors can be weak, medium, or strong. Drones must use weak doors.

You can have 10 medium walls and 5 strong walls per floor. Doors use this pool and are a little weaker but allow you to use them. That is 20 and 10 total together between you.

Open hallways allow your workers to move quickly.

Does that mean we have infinite weak walls and doors then? Should we designate where we would want a staircase to the next floor to go or is that your choice? Could you supply an example for how you want it(Image form? Described?)?

Yes.

Yours. Elevator is also an option. You want to gather resources quickly.

Half walls, like about the height of a kitchen counter, allowing for cover while maintaining sight lines.

Eh I didn't. Also, I AM trying to draw up an idea of what I'd want the fortress to be, but set backs have happened, specifically a larger then expected amount of schoolwork combined with the spontaneous self disassembly of my glasses has reduced my ability and time to near nill.
