Title: Killing a group before accepting a quest issue?

Alright, so I killed a cleared a necromancer tower out group and all. After to find out that my next quest was to clear out the same group I just killed. I once again killed all the zombies (this time with incredible ease) but still haven't completed the quest. Does anyone know what's wrong with this situation or something? Because everyone is dead and those who are dead are deader.

Was it a 'drive off the enemy' mission?
Seems they may be broken.

Yeah, it was driving them off mission, but I found a way to solve the issue!

Kill your boss and claim his shit.

Superior gives impossible task: kill him and take his hat.

You could also have claimed a camp or became someone elses' hearthsperson, but that's certainly the fun way to do it.
