So today i found a pretty good looking game with a lot of potential on steam that i wanted to share with everyone https://store.steampowered.com/app/890570/Almost_Alive/ (https://store.steampowered.com/app/890570/Almost_Alive/)

Holy crap, this game looks friggin' gorgeous.

This is like Heavy Metal the game. Weird art style, looks pretty interesting.

Ok, so I tried it.
You have a tutorial mission with all the gear and toys to play around where you defend a outpost and then attack one. Its nice.
Char creation is funky as heck, with a lot of options, but in the end you walk around and shot stuff. Stoping and aiming allows you to see more, which is not taught to you in the beginning at all.
You wake up on a beach, naked. Looting is fun, there are a ton of items and you can certainly army-dress-up.
I follow the guys that say hello, they shot some raiders, I get my first gun real easy, do some walking and talking and looting and get myself killed in a defend X order.
Inventory is fairly small, sadly. Not everything is well explained or understood - but it really does create good moment where like 3 people rush at 1 guy, he shots one, then wounds a 2end and the 3rd starts to flee, while the attacked guy rushes after him.
Really needs a slowmo mode.
______________
So basically in the first area you try to make friends with 1-2-3 gangs and break down a boss area. Once you leave the area, there is no way to get back however, which sucks.
This really needs a unlimited inventory space mod or something

Yea, really needs a slowmo mode. Practically unplayable for me at the current default combat speed.

Well I finished it, as in as far as you can get in early access (2 areas).
You respawn with your stuff (newgame+--ish) after you finish, but otherwise its all fine.
I restarted for fun with a new char, but this time going with the perk that gives you more points on levelup as soon as possible. Made things way more easy.
________
So lvl strenght and the right perks can just about double your inventory space.
There is no trading, no need to keep that money or anything of value on you.
Some content is random.
There are no quests on the 2end map it seems.
The game is still fairly fun, but maybe if you want to enjoy the early access, play it like a rogue-like and don't save.

It's pretty cool, but I think I was disappointed because I was expecting SCZ but modern (https://youtu.be/FpVxiwFE3FI?t=84), which this is not. I hope it gets something like it eventually, I guess.
I'll agree that it goes a little fast. You're so dang fragile too. I'm in the beefiest stuff I could find and I still melt after eating like only one or two bullets.
