Like the title says, my world is seperated by 2 continents and there is a small gap of ocean between them, can I swim trough that? or can I travel over the Northpole and come out at the south?

1. With high enough/innate swim skill, absolutely. Winged adventurers can also simply fly over oceans.
2. Nope. There's nothing past the edge of the world.

Thank you for the answer!

Every time I've tried to cross an ocean, there was huge lag, so beware of that when swimming. It simply is better to go around the ocean by foot if you can. It'll take longer in days, but it could take literal days of just trying to move a few spaces between the game freezing.

Entirely possible as I did it once or twice. Just prepare some meals and water because it might take longer than you'd predict.

Make sure you travel in a warm-water ocean or a completely freezing one. Oceans that melt/freeze will destroy your save and leave you stuck in a horrible limbo
